The receptionist always thought that Pearl was a nice person. She was friendly to people and had a gentle temper. She couldn't possibly be the personOlivia described.

The journalists outside were alarmed and peered inside. When they saw what was happening here, and that it involved the Brown Group, they sensed a major news story and hurried over.
The entrance was guarded by security. They were live streaming on location. They were there to interview the janitors for an online news segment.
Seeing this, Isabelle rushed over and spoke into a journalist's microphone. "Come see this! We are relatives of Pearl Harris, the secretary at this company. She has a major scandal..."
As soon as they heard the word "scandal," the journalists got excited. They knew Pearl. She was Oscar's secretary. They had just received unanimous praise for the Brown Group from the janitors. Now, they had the opportunity to uncover some scandals about the Brown Group.

Queenie couldn't believe that something like this could happen.
"Me?" Pearl was still clueless, so she asked, "What happened with me?"
"Your aunt and your cousin."
Pearl felt somewhat awkward. As long as she heard those names, she knew trouble was brewing.
She then saw the live stream scene on Queenie's phone.
Pearl's aunt and cousin deliberately portrayed themselves as victims in front of the journalists, damaging Pearl's image.
They even started spreading rumors.
They claimed that they had put in a lot of effort to support Pearl through college.
