Chapter 91 Scratched

However, Harold was worried. Oscar was his boss, so he had to follow Oscar.

He saw that Oscar's expression wasn't great, so he said, "President Oscar, don't be angry. Secretary Pearl still wants to play, so why don't we play together?"

Oscar frowned and said, "I don't want to play with her."

Pearl heard that, so she didn't insist and said to Adrian, "There are still many fun things ahead, let's go check them out."

"Okay." Adrian looked at Oscar again and said, "President Oscar, we won't accompany you then."

The two of them continued to walk forward.

Oscar watched their backs as his face darkened, and said displeasedly, "Harold, do you want to go with them?"

"Wait for us!"
Harold immediately shouted. "Secretary Pearl, I want to play with you."

Saying that, Oscar also followed along.

He followed behind them, looking at the Mickey Mouse doll tightly held in Pearl's hands, and thought to himself, 'A little toy can make her so happy.'

Just now, she was excited like she had obtained the greatest treasure in the world.

But that was clearly just a toy!

When he gave her a diamond bracelet worth over 20 million dollars, she didn't seem as happy as she was now.

He didn't understand what Pearl was thinking.

She didn't compromise for money. On the contrary, something cheap that she had worked so hard to get made her extremely delighted.

"There's also dart shooting here,"

Pearl pointed out to Adrian, finding the game very interesting.

The game's most difficult level was to hit all twenty darts in the bullseye.

No one has passed this level so far as it was

quite challenging.

Pearl was more interested and wanted to give it a try.

Seeing her interest, Oscar let Harold pay.

Harold felt this was an opportunity for Oscar to show off. "Secretary Pearl, let President Oscar shoot the darts!"

He quickly paid and took the twenty darts in his hands.

Pearl couldn't help but look at Oscar, afraid that he would shoot the darts at the boss's head, which could be fatal.

But Oscar was very relaxed. He gently threw a dart, easily hitting the bullseye.

Pearl breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, he didn't miss.

Then, the second, the third, all the way to the tenth dart, all hit the bullseye.

Even the boss was excited. "You've broken our record here. Hitting ten in a row is already the limit!"

Pearl couldn't help but look at Oscar. She was puzzled. He didn't hit any balloons earlier, so how could he shoot darts so accurately?

These two games were quite similar.

Oscar's consecutive bullseyes with the darts caught the attention of others.

"That person is amazing. He throws them casually and hits the bullseye every time. And he's handsome too!"

"Does he have a girlfriend? Should we ask him for his WhatsApp contact information?"

Pearl heard the girls next to her talking, and then she looked at Oscar. She also admitted that he was handsome and that many women liked him.

"All bullseyes!" the boss exclaimed. "Sir, you're amazing. I've been working here for so long, but you're the only gentleman who hit all the darts!"

The whole room applauded for him.

Pearl looked at him, thinking to herself, 'Even in a crowd, Oscar would still be the most dazzling one.'

Compared to most people, he has talent and luck.

This kind of game proved to be very simple for Oscar.
He calmly asked the stall owner, "What is the gift?"
The boss readily replied, "You can pick whatever you want here!"
Oscar glanced at Pearl and asked, "Which one do you like here?"
"What?" Pearl didn't react.
Oscar looked at the Mickey Mouse in her hand and walked over to take the larger Lotso doll for her.
"Is this okay?" Oscar asked. "Isn't this better than the one in your hand?"
Pearl was speechless.
She looked at the doll which was even taller than him, and quickly shook her head. "I don't want it, it's too big, and I don't like it either."
Oscar got angry immediately and said, "Isn't this better than the one in your hand? Hold it!"
He threw it to her with one hand.
Pearl looked at the doll she was holding and the one he threw at her. She couldn't hold them both, she felt like she was suffocating.
"Oscar, stop it!" Pearl didn't want both dolls to fall on the ground.
Oscar didn't say anything, just looked at her coldly. He couldn't understand why she didn't like the big doll.
This one was even bigger than the one in her hand. Why wasn't she excited?

What did he do wrong?
Pearl realized her words were too serious and might hurt his self-esteem. She explained again, "These two dolls are too heavy, I can't hold them."
"I'll help you." Adrian took the Lotso doll in his hand. "Now it's better."
"Thank you," Pearl said, finally relaxed.
Harold observed the uncomfortable silence and noted Oscar's icy demeanor, leading him to surmise that Oscar was seething with anger.
Furthermore, Pearl's disregard for him only fueled the flames, exacerbating the situation.

He also felt sorry for President Oscar.
The whole room was applauding for him, but Pearl didn't feel happy.
"Do you want something to drink?" Adrian said to Pearl, "There's a coffee shop over there."
"Yes, I'm thirsty," Pearl answered.
They were about to leave when they suddenly heard Harold shouting anxiously, "President Oscar, you're bleeding!"
Pearl was still smiling, but when she heard this, she panicked.
She turned around and saw Oscar's hand dripping blood continuously. She was shocked and asked, "What happened to you? Why are you bleeding so much?"
She ran over and quickly held his hand to stop the bleeding.
Oscar saw her worrying about him like that, and his face eased a bit. He deliberately said, "Weren't you going to have coffee? Why are you here?"
As he spoke, he leaned forward.
Pearl quickly supported him and asked, "How are you feeling?"
Harold thought for a moment and quickly said, "He might be a little dizzy from the blood!"
Oscar interjected, "Just go and have a cup of coffee."
"Don't talk anymore!" Pearl had no intention of having coffee. "Assistant Harold, go buy some bandages to stop the bleeding!"
"Okay." Harold saw a pharmacy nearby, and quickly ran over.
Pearl asked, "How did you get hurt?"
Oscar looked at her and said calmly, "I might have accidentally been scratched by a dart earlier."
"Does it hurt?"
Oscar said, "Yes."
Pearl helped him sit on a nearby stone bench and said, "Be careful. Even if it's a minor injury, it will take several days to heal."
Oscar looked toward Adrian, who was being ignored nearby, and asked, "Are you still going to have coffee?"
"I'm not going anymore," Adrian replied.
Oscar whispered to Pearl, "Let's go home later."
She nodded. "Yes, sure."
Harold came over and handed the bandages to Pearl.
Pearl quickly tended to his wound. The wound was not deep and looked more like a scratch. She still frowned, worried that it might get infected.
