Chapter 1050 She Fell in Love Early
"Seb went to play ball with his classmates this afternoon," Jenny said, then turned to Edric. "Honey, can you call Seb and see where he is?"
Edric nodded, stepped aside, and made the call.
Jenny looked at the group nearby and smiled. "I see Alex, Billy, Erin, Samantha, and Millie. Where's Linnea?"
Linnea had been stuck with the royal family since birth. Poor Aaron and Nora had to stay in Hchilia if they didn't want to be apart from her. So, Linnea had been bouncing between Chrisland and Hchilia since she was little.
Luckily, Linnea was super smart. She knew eight languages by fourteen and was now studying in Lindwood City with Seb as her classmate.
"Linnea said she had a library date with some classmates this afternoon. She's off having fun again," Nora said, looking a bit helpless.
Linnea, spoiled by Tomas and Mateo, was always lively, traveling between two countries.
She was the family's joy and little troublemaker.
"Jenny, where's Seb? Isn't he here yet?" Alex asked, leading his younger siblings over.
At nineteen, Alex was in his prime, looking more handsome and mature.
Billy, who looked almost identical to Alex, followed. They had similar looks and temperaments, but Billy had a bit more finesse compared to Alex's boldness. People who didn't know them well often mixed them up.
Three young girls in white dresses, looking elegant, were with them. One was eighteen, and the other two were nineteen.
The five of them together looked like comic book royalty, very eye-catching.
"Seb's at the door," Edric said after the call.
"Linnea said she's at the door too," Alex added with a smile.
"Did they come together?" Billy asked, raising an eyebrow at Alex.
As they talked, Samantha noticed two figures approaching. "They did come together," she said, smiling.
Everyone looked and saw two people walking towards them, one in a white suit and the other in a white princess dress.
At fourteen, Seb and Linnea exuded youthful energy, making everyone nostalgic. But they didn't look too happy.
Linnea greeted everyone. Jenny put her arm around Linnea's waist and smiled. "Linnea, why do you look upset? Who made you mad?"
Linnea glanced at Seb, who looked stern. "No one dares to make me mad, except for some self-righteous people."
Linnea, puffed up with anger, looked cute with her bold words and baby-faced expression.
"Who dares to make my Linnea angry? Is it him?" Jenny asked, already knowing the answer and glancing at Seb.
"Linnea, don't be mad. I'll scold him for you." Jenny turned to Seb. "Seb, why did you make Linnea angry? Didn't I tell you to look after her at school since you're her older brother?"
Before Seb could respond, Linnea pouted. "He's only two hours older than me. How does that make him my older brother?"
Seb, his voice a bit hoarse from puberty, said, "Even one minute makes me older."
Linnea snorted. "So what if you're older? Does that mean you can boss me around? Even my family doesn't do that, and you think you can?"
Seb replied, "Do you think I want to boss you around? I'm doing it because Aaron and Nora asked me to."
Linnea shot back, "I don't need it. I don't need you to boss me around!"
Seb's face tightened, clearly unhappy.
Seeing the tension, everyone was puzzled.
Jenny intervened. "Stop! Seb, explain. Why are you two arguing?"
Seb said, "She's in a puppy love!"
Everyone looked at Linnea in shock.
Linnea's face turned red. "I'm not in a puppy love, Seb! You're falsely accusing me!"
Seb's expression remained unchanged. "If you're not, then show everyone your chat history with Skyler Schneider."
Linnea bit her lip, her eyes filled with anger. "Some of the things we said were just jokes. Do you have to be so old-fashioned?"
Seb snorted. "A twenty-year-old adult telling you he misses you so much he can't sleep! You call that a joke? Are you really that naive or just pretending?"
Linnea was both angry and annoyed. "Seb, you're simply unreasonable. Skyler is just like a brother to me, like Alex and Billy. If I told them I missed them so much I couldn't sleep, does that mean I want to date them?"
Alex and Billy felt a bit uncomfortable hearing this. They roughly understood what happened. Linnea met Skyler on social media. While chatting, Skyler said some ambiguous things to Linnea. Linnea thought it was fine, but Seb thought it was a problem.
"You're twisting the facts!" Seb said.
"You're simply unreasonable!" Linnea retorted. "No, you're despicable and shameless!"
"How am I despicable and shameless?"
"You spied on my chat history with others. Isn't that despicable and shameless?"
Seb's eyes flashed with discomfort, but he quickly regained his composure. "I'm supervising you on behalf of Aaron and Nora to prevent you from falling in love early!"
Linnea stomped her foot in frustration. "I already said, I'm not in a puppy love."
Seb remained unmoved. "What's so good about foreigners?"
Linnea's face scrunched up in anger. She looked at Samantha, who was listening with interest, and clung to her arm, acting spoiled. "Samantha, look at him. He's calling Alfred bad!"
Samantha was speechless. Alfred was indeed a foreigner, but he was actually good. Seb didn't even call Alfred bad.
