Chapter 882 Test Him with a Beautiful Woman
"Of course not."
Rafael squinted, looking calculating. "It seems he cares about Nora a lot. Why not find a way to drive a wedge between them?"
Miguel asked, "How do we do that?"
"Aaron's a man. I bet he can't resist a beautiful woman!"
Rafael smirked. "If we make Nora think he's cheating and she asks for a divorce, let's see how smug he is then."
Miguel nodded eagerly. "Right, he's staying here for a few days. I'll arrange for a beautiful woman to seduce him right away!"
Rafael raised an eyebrow, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
But he thought it would probably work.
Meanwhile, Mateo led the two to a room.
The spacious and bright bedroom was full of exotic charm, equipped with all the essentials.
"Nora, Mr. Gordon, you'll have to make do with staying here tonight," Mateo said politely.
Aaron wrapped his arm around Nora's waist. Seeing Mateo's courteous manner, he remembered something Nora had said.
'A blessing in disguise.'
Of course, the blessing wasn't that Nora was about to become a princess of Hchilia.
It was that Mateo's attitude towards Nora had changed.
Mateo had feelings for Nora, but now that Nora had become his sister, he should completely put those feelings away.
"Prince Mateo, tomorrow you should start calling her sister and me brother-in-law," Aaron said.
Mateo looked helpless. "Yes, what an awkward title."
Aaron glanced at him. "I advise you to get your act together. This isn't the outside estate where you can mess around without consequences."
Mateo dropped his usual playful demeanor, clenched his fists, and saluted.
"Thank you for the reminder."
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "Leave us now. We need to talk privately."
Mateo asked, "Don't you need me to show you around?"
Aaron replied, "No need. If we want to look around, I'll take her myself."
Mateo glanced at Nora but didn't insist.
"Alright, I'll have someone call you when the banquet starts."
"Okay."
Mateo left.
Once the door closed, Nora said, "He seems to have become a lot more serious."
Aaron smiled. "This is the royal family. If he doesn't get it together, all those years of pretending to be a fool would be in vain."
Nora nodded in agreement and sat on the bed, feeling the silky texture of the sheets. She sighed,
"They are really extravagant, but the atmosphere is quite oppressive."
Aaron bent down slightly, placing his hands on either side of Nora, and kissed her on the lips.
"Good thing you have me with you, right?"
Nora smiled. "Yes, good thing you're here."
After a while of cuddling, Aaron checked the time. "It's still early. Want to go for a walk?"
"Sure."
Since they were already here.
Nora and Aaron left the room. At the door, a servant bowed to them, speaking in the local language.
Nora and Aaron didn't understand, so they just returned the bow and started to explore.
The royal family’s residence, apart from being several times larger than an ordinary home and using top-quality materials for everything, wasn't much different from Hugo's estate.
There were also gardens, corridors, mountains, and water.
They strolled into the garden, smelling the flowers and admiring a variety of unknown plants.
Seeing Nora's interest, Aaron asked, "Want me to take a picture for you?"
Nora's eyes lit up. "Sure, record a little video. I can show off when we get home."
Aaron chuckled. "You're being so basic."
Nora sighed, smelling the flowers. "I can't help it. I just wanted to be a cool doctor, but you all dragged me into this."
Aaron laughed and took out his phone. "Alright, I'm starting to record."
"Let me fix my clothes first."
Nora quickly tidied her hair and clothes, then continued to admire the flowers.
"I'm recording," Aaron reminded her.
Nora smiled brightly at the camera. "Do you know where this is? This is the royal family. I'm lucky to visit here. Envious? Don't be. The flowers and trees here are no different from anywhere else."
Nora's lively appearance made her look like she was back in her school days—cute and pure.
Aaron looked at Nora through the camera, his eyes full of affection.
After recording for a while, he couldn't help but walk over to Nora and wrap his arm around her waist. "Honey, did you forget to introduce the most important person in your life?"
Nora laughed. "Oh, right! This is the most important man in my life, Aaron. Everyone, give him a round of applause!"
Nora clapped her hands.
Aaron felt a tenderness in his heart. Holding the phone with one hand, he cupped Nora's head with the other and kissed her on the lips.
Nora's eyes widened, and she quickly pulled away. "Stop it, this is the royal palace."
Aaron's eyes were full of affection. "It's okay, no one's here."
"Who knows, maybe someone is watching us."
Nora always felt like someone was watching her.
As they were talking, a silvery laugh came from not far away.
They looked over and saw two women holding handkerchiefs, covering their mouths as they walked over.
They were dressed in exotic clothing, with tan skin and graceful figures. They walked with a sway, looking like rare beauties.
As they got closer, Aaron and Nora could smell the fragrance emanating from them. It was refreshing.
Nora blinked and exclaimed, "Honey, they're so beautiful."
Aaron glanced at them and then looked away. "Are they?"
"Of course. Don't they look like those exotic women we see on TV?"
"Yeah, a bit."
Aaron's tone was somewhat perfunctory.
Nora glanced at him and saw that he was already watching the video they had just recorded. He didn't pay any attention to the two beauties. He really wasn't tempted at all.
At this moment, the two beauties walked up to them and bowed, saying something.
Nora didn't understand, so she just smiled at them.
The two women glanced at Aaron, noticed his indifference, and left without saying anything else.
Nora watched their backs, feeling a bit envious. They had such great figures. Those slim waists, those curvy hips, those long legs—all made her feel inferior.
Although her figure wasn't bad, it was still different compared to these two women.
"Your eyes are glued to them. Honey, are they better looking than me?" Aaron asked, seeing Nora staring at them.
Nora smiled. "You're good-looking, too. But they're beautiful in a different way. We should learn to appreciate different kinds of beauty."
