Chapter 923 Could a Woman Be as Wonderful as a Meal?

"Just started dating, nothing serious yet," Johnnie mumbled.

Aaron raised an eyebrow and laughed. "Johnnie, you need a girlfriend so you don't have to watch me and my wife flaunt our love every day."

Johnnie gave an awkward smile and stayed quiet.

Nora smiled and glanced at Frederick. "Aaron, everyone around us is in a relationship except Frederick. Should we give him some time off to date?"

Frederick's heart raced. "Mr. Gordon, Mrs. Gordon, I don't need to date. I just want to stay by your side and protect you."

Nora laughed. "Really, Frederick? Do you want to be single forever?"

Frederick thought for a moment. "I can take it."

Nora covered her mouth, laughing.

Aaron raised an eyebrow and, holding her, walked forward. "Frederick hasn't experienced the wonders of being in a romantic relationship. He doesn't know how amazing it can be."

Frederick, always stoic, asked seriously, "Better than a feast?"

Nora burst out laughing.

Aaron's eyes twinkled with amusement. "Frederick, why don't you ask Johnnie if women are better than a good meal?"

Johnnie thought of the previous night and swallowed hard. "Yeah."

"Frederick, did you hear that? Johnnie, when you have time, tell Frederick about how wondergul sex could be. We don't want him to grow old without knowing the most wonderful thing in the world," Aaron teased.

"Yes," Johnnie responded.

Nora couldn't stop laughing and lightly slapped Aaron. "Alright, be serious and stop teasing Frederick."

Aaron said, "I'm not teasing. I'm seriously encouraging him to date."

Nora gave him a sidelong glance. "Do you think everyone likes women as much as you do?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with liking women?"

"Say that again?"

"I wouldn't dare."

They laughed and joked as they left the airport and got into the car.

As the car drove forward, Nora asked, "Aaron, are you not busy today?"

"No matter how busy I am, I can't miss picking you up," Aaron said, playing with her hand.

Nora glanced at him. "What are you busy with? Still that military business?"

"Yeah, that's one of the things."

Nora's eyes sparkled. "So, does Gabriella have to stay here until the project is done?"

Aaron said, "Not necessarily. But she's a third party and needs to supervise."

Nora said, "So, she's optional?"

Aaron, catching on, raised an eyebrow and pinched Nora's chin. "Honey, are you jealous because of Jane's call last night?"

Nora's eyes were moist as she pulled his hand away. "No, but I still need to be cautious. After all, you attract women so easily."

Aaron laughed. "Honey, I'll take that as a compliment."

In the driver's seat, Johnnie listened intently, his eyes flickering. He thought, 'They're overthinking it. Gabriella has no inappropriate thoughts about Aaron; otherwise, she wouldn't have slept with me and asked me to be her boyfriend.'

Beep, a message popped up on Johnnie's phone.

They were stopped at a red light.

Johnnie glanced at his phone and swallowed hard. It was a photo from Gabriella, fresh out of the shower, wearing just lingerie. The car behind them honked.

Frederick, in the passenger seat, said, "Johnnie, it's green."

Johnnie quickly put his phone away and started driving.

Frederick, with his sharp eyes, had seen the photo but not the face. He only noticed the scantily clad woman.

"Johnnie, is your phone infected with a virus?" Frederick asked bluntly.

Johnnie, distracted, was momentarily stunned. "No."

"Then why do you have pornographic images on your phone?" Frederick pressed.

Johnnie's hand shook, almost losing control of the wheel. Frederick had mistaken Gabriella's photo for something else.

In the back seat, Aaron and Nora, who were being affectionate, were both stunned by Frederick's words.

"Johnnie, is your phone infected with a virus?" Aaron asked.

Johnnie's face turned red. "No, Frederick saw wrong."

Frederick frowned. "Impossible, my eyesight is excellent. I couldn't have seen wrong."

Johnnie was speechless; he didn't want to argue with Frederick.

Aaron, catching on quickly, laughed. "Johnnie, was it a picture from your girlfriend that you can't show others?"

Johnnie's ears turned red, and he mumbled a response.

Frederick frowned again, thinking, 'A decent girl doesn't send such revealing pictures.'

"Johnnie, when did you get a girlfriend? You're moving fast. Could she be a scammer?" Aaron asked, concerned.

"Just started dating. She's not a scammer," Johnnie stammered.

'A new girlfriend, and she's already sending revealing photos. If she isn't a scammer, she's too bold,' Aaron thought but didn't say anything.

"Bring her out for a meal sometime. You are my friend, and now that you have a girlfriend, let me meet her," Aaron said.

Johnnie felt touched but wasn't sure if Gabriella wanted their relationship public. He needed to ask her.

By the next afternoon, Johnnie got the answer without even asking. Gabriella came to see Aaron at the company, and Nora was there too, bringing Aaron a homemade lunch.

Gabriella's expression froze when she saw Nora, then she put on a happy face and hugged her. "Nora, you're back! That's great! Now that you're back, I won't be so bored here."
