"Nora, you've had a long day. Go home and get some rest," Ebenezer suggested, managing a smile.
Nora sighed inwardly and reassured him, "Dad, don't worry. I'll do my best to help Kenneth and make sure he wakes up soon."
Ebenezer nodded, but the thought of Emma's leukemia made him sigh again.
Misfortunes never come singly. He was curious to know if both his sons would be a match. What if only Kenneth was a match? Despair gripped him.
After bidding Ebenezer farewell, Nora sat in the car, feeling upset.
When she arrived home, the villa was empty. Even Alex, who had been at home, was taken away by Adelbert's men.
Nora sat on the sofa, hugging a pillow, lost in thought.

Just then, Frederick entered with food, informing, "Dr. Smith, Mr. Gordon ordered takeout for you."
Nora was surprised and looked at the packaging. It bore the logo of a famous five-star hotel in Lindwood City.
She looked at the screen and said, "When did you order takeout?"
"When Frederick picked you up from the hospital," Aaron replied.
Nora nodded, feeling a bit happy, continuing, "Kenneth had an accident this afternoon. Frederick should have told you, right?"
Aaron said, "Don't worry, eat and get some rest,"
"I should go now," she said.
She had to treat Kenneth tomorrow and needed to rest.
"Okay, take care," Aaron agreed.
Just as Nora's finger was about to end the call, she heard a woman's weak voice in the video. "Ari, hurry."
Nora's hand froze on the screen, and she stared. Ari? Who was she? Why did she call Aaron so affectionately? Was she another admirer of Aaron's? Nora hung up and stared at the screen, unable to help but type a message.
Nora: [Do you have a guest at home?]
Aaron: [Yes, my aunt's family came back from abroad to visit my grandfather, and they're spending Christmas at the Gordon Manor this year.]

"I'm getting ready to watch a TV show," she explained.
"Let's watch it together," he advised.
They exchanged questions and answers very efficiently. Nora sat on the sofa, turned on the TV, and held a pillow in her hand.
"Do you like watching TV shows, too?" she teased.
"I just want to watch with you," Aaron said.
They looked at each other through the screen, their eyes filled with affection, and Nora's low mood improved a bit.
Soon, the TV show began. Aaron also turned on the TV. They watched the show together and chatted.
When Nora saw something funny, she would discuss it with Aaron. She was watching TV seriously while Aaron listened to the sound of the TV and watched her.
He looked at her smile with tenderness and listened to her laughter.
He thought, 'By this time next year, we won't have to be in a long-distance relationship.'
He really wanted to go through the screen immediately and kiss her deeply.
