Chapter 852 Make Jasmine Fall in Love with You
James's face looked grim, saying, "But that Jasmine isn't Millie's biological mother!"
Nora nodded and said, "I know, but Millie believes Jasmine was sent by her mother to take care of her. In her heart, Jasmine is her mother's replacement."
The veins on James's forehead throbbed, and he clenched his fists.
"Hugo, that despicable man, how could he find someone to impersonate Emmeline!"
James continued, "Since Millie can't bear to leave Jasmine, we'll take Jasmine with us!"
Nora glanced at him and asked, "Do you think she wants to come with us?"
James's eyes were dark, saying, "I don't care. She has to!"
Nora sighed, "James, don't rush. Let me think about it."
This was Hugo's territory. Even if James wanted to take Jasmine away forcefully, it was not realistic.
James couldn't help but be anxious, but given the current situation, he could do nothing but worry.
In the afternoon, Nora was arranging Hugo's treatment.
She wrote a prescription, taught Aisha how to prepare the medicine, and also developed a treatment plan.

Nora asked, "Mrs. Rochet, do you know this Jasmine well?"

"Not really. I only know that Jasmine is one of Hugo's mistresses."
Nora's eyes flashed with surprise. "She's your husband's mistress?"
Aisha smiled self-deprecatingly. "Yes, do you think I'm ridiculous? As a wife, I turned a blind eye to my husband's infidelity, allowing my husband to keep a mistress by his side."
Nora didn't speak because she didn't know what to say.
Aisha took a deep breath and continued, "I used to feel that I owed Hugo, so I tolerated eveything he did. Now, I have had it enough. I'll make him cut ties with those women. If he doesn't, then we'll get a divorce."
Aisha's tone was firm and unwavering.
Nora thought Aisha was overly tolerant.
If it were her, regardless of whether she owed Aaron or not, she definitely couldn't accept such a lifestyle.
But Nora also knew that marriages like Hugo's definitely involved more than just love; there were various interests intertwined.
Divorce wouldn't be that easy.
"However, I probably can't make him cut ties with Jasmine because she's taking care of Millie, and Millie is so attached to her," Aisha added.
Nora frowned slightly, feeling a bit heavy-hearted.
'Jasmine was brought in by Hugo to take care of Millie.'

Aisha followed them upstairs into the bedroom, watching from the side.
Aaron and James were sitting in the living room downstairs.
Seeing James looking dazed, Aaron sighed inwardly.
He had just seen James talking to Nora but didn't know what they had discussed.
"What are you thinking about?" Aaron asked.
James was silent for a moment and replied, "Dr. Smith just told me that Millie doesn't want to come home because of that Jasmine. But she's not Millie's mother. Mr. Gordon, is there really no way to take Millie away?"
Aaron looked at his reddened eyes, stayed silent for a moment, and then said a few words,
"There is a way."
James's eyes lit up. "What way?"
Aaron's lips moved slightly. "Make Jasmine fall in love with you; make her yours."
James looked shocked and said, "Mr. Gordon, are you joking?"
Aaron's expression was serious. "I'm not joking. Only if Jasmine falls in love with you will she follow you wherever you go. If she goes with you, Millie will follow, and everything will be resolved."
James stared at him blankly, then shook his head after a while. "No, my heart belongs to Emmeline. I won't fall for another woman."
Aaron said, "I understand, but do you have a better way to take Millie away?"
James was at a loss for words.
Aaron patted his shoulder. "Think about it. At least Jasmine has a face identical to Emmeline's. You can consider her a substitute for Emmeline."
Upon hearing this, James clenched his fingers, a pang of pain flashing in his eyes.
He missed Emmeline so much it was almost unbearable.
Sometimes, when he saw someone on the street with a profile similar to Emmeline's, he would become dazed.
Now, this Jasmine had a face identical to Emmeline's. He could find solace in that.
He wasn't doing it for himself but for Millie!
"Alright, Mr. Gordon, I'll follow your advice."
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "You've decided?"
"I've decided. I'll make Jasmine fall in love with me."
James took a deep breath, looking determined.
Aaron stroked his chin, feeling a bit unreasy.
Having James approach Jasmine with an agenda seemed unfair to her.
But matters of the feelings were unpredictable. They might end up genuinely falling for each other.
Aaron set this issue aside for now and focused on another problem.
Nora needed to stay here for a long time to treat Hugo.
In a foreign country, without his influence, if Nora were in danger or someone coveted her...
Aaron thought of the scheming Mateo, his brown eyes narrowing.
'No, absolutely not!'
'I couldn't let Nora stay here! Definitely!'
