After finishing the call with Nora, Johnnie from the Gordon group instinctively straightened his clothes and then dialed Noe's number.
The call connected quickly.
Johnnie, with a flattering expression, said, "Mr. Gordon, I've confirmed it."
Aaron responded briefly. "Report."
"Okay."
"He hasn't been on any business trips recently; he's been staying at the company."Johnnie replied.
He detailed all the movements of the imposter to Aaron.
Aaron listened carefully. When Johnnie mentioned that the imposter was planning to collaborate with the Bilian Group, Aaron's eyebrows slightly raised.
On the way back, Nora had already told him everything that had happened during his disappearance.
So Aaron also knew that Richard from the Bilian Group was Evella's biological uncle.
And Howard had even considered Richard a rival in love, almost getting into a fight with him.
So, the Bilian Group was the company of Evella's deceased father, Zack.
Aaron remembered that after Zack's death, the Bilian Group didn't seem to have a clear leader.
It was temporarily managed by Zack's adopted son.
So, who was the imposter planning to negotiate business with?
"Has he been in contact with people from the Bilian Group?"
"Yes," Johnnie replied.
"Who did he meet with?"
"It was Curtis Romero, the General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region of the Bilian Group."
Hearing this, Aaron squinted his eyes.
"He only met with Curtis Romero, no one else?"
"Yes."
Aaron was deep in thought.
The Bilian Group was indeed a multinational corporation, but the Gordon Group was also a renowned enterprise.
For companies of the same level, collaboration should be a win-win situation, not one side begging the other for an opportunity.
So, if he were the president of the group, he should be meeting directly with Adam to discuss business, not just a general manager.
There was definitely something wrong here.
"Besides this project, is he negotiating any other projects?" Aaron asked again.
"No, he's been personally following up on this collaboration project these past few days," Johnnie replied.
Focusing on just one project.
That made it even more suspicious.
Aaron said, "Got it. Keep an eye on him and call Noe if anything comes up."
"Yes."
Johnnie agreed, then lowered his voice and asked, "Mr. Gordon, are you still not planning to show up?"
Aaron's lips curled into a cold smile. "Right, let him reveal his true colors first, then I'll deal with him!"
"Okay."
After hanging up, Aaron dialed Nora's number.
At that moment, Nora was taking a bath.
All her fatigue was washed away in the warm water, making her feel comfortably drowsy.
Hearing the phone ring, she opened her eyes, picked up her phone, and saw it was Noe calling. She smiled and answered.
"Hello?"
"It's me. Didn't I tell you to let me know when you got home?"
Aaron's deep, gentle voice carried a hint of dissatisfaction.
Nora, playing with the water with one hand, softly said, "I'm taking a bath. I was going to call you after I finished."
"You're taking a bath, Nora. That's not fair!"Aaron said.
Nora blinked. "How is that not fair?"
"You're making me think about it but not letting me have it. Do you think that's fair?"
Nora was speechless. "Can you be any more childish?"
Aaron chuckled and said a few more words.
Nora didn't want to listen to his nonsense and asked, "Did you talk to Johnnie?"
Talking about business, Aaron's tone became more serious. "Yes, Johnnie said the imposter is trying to collaborate with the Bilian Group recently, and he's already been in contact with people from the Bilian Group. I think there might be issues with the Bilian Group."
Hearing this, Nora sat up slightly, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "The Bilian Group, Evella's father's company?"
"Yes."
Nora frowned slightly. "What kind of issues could the Bilian Group have?"
That was the company Zack founded, and it should eventually belong to Evella. Naturally, she didn't want the Bilian Group to have any problems.
"The Bilian Group's history is tainted. Although it was later whitewashed, our Gordon family has always avoided dealings with the Bilian Group. There are too many twists and turns, and one wrong move could be disastrous."
Aaron explained the reasoning behind it.
Nora didn't quite understand. "How could it be disastrous?"

"So, a century-old enterprise like the Gordon Group wouldn't risk collaborating with such a company."
Nora didn't understand much about business, but she felt Aaron's analysis made a lot of sense.
Her focus now shifted to Zack's death.
Could it be that Zack's death wasn't an accident but a premeditated murder as Aaron analyzed?
"Of course, this is just my speculation. I can't be sure of the imposter's true intentions yet." Aaron added. "But one thing is very suspicious. The imposter met with someone from the Bilian Group, but it was just a regional manager, not the president of the Bilian Group."
"I'm waiting to see what the Bilian Group will do next and whether it aligns with my suspicion that some senior shareholders want to return to their old ways."
Nora listened carefully, and a thought suddenly struck her.
"Aaron, if your analysis is correct, then the imposter has already been colluding with the problematic people in the Bilian Group, which is why he suddenly sought collaboration with the Bilian Group."
"Think about it. If they team up to get rid of you, the Gordon group would fall into the imposter's hands. Then he could help those problematic people in the Bilian Group launder money through the Gordon group!"
Hearing this, Aaron laughed.
"That's my girl, you catch on quick."
Nora had heard Aaron's compliments so many times that she was numb to them.
She paused, frowning slightly. "I wonder if Richard knows about this. I'll go find Evella later and ask her about it."
"Good idea."
Both were silent for a moment.
Nora thought of something and said, "By the way, my mom's memory has returned."
"Really?"
"Yes, and she told me something."
"What is it?"
"She knows that my children's biological father is you."
