Evella glanced at him, feeling like he was a parrot who only knew how to mimic others.
Howard smiled and led her into the dance floor.
On the dance floor, Aaron held Nora's slender waist as they elegantly danced.
Nora gazed at Aaron's handsome face, lost in thought. 'When will he announce our engagement?'
'He's acting too calm, isn't he?'
'Also, he said the ring was for me, so when will he give it to me?'
Nora wasn't focused on dancing; she didn't control her pace, and she accidentally stepped on Aaron.
She quickly apologized, "Sorry."
Aaron looked at her and leaned close to her ear, his voice as gentle as water. "You're not focused; what are you thinking about?"
"I'm thinking about you," Nora replied quickly.
Aaron was momentarily surprised, then chuckled softly, clearly pleased.
He said, "Nora, if you are so impatient, how about I announce that we are getting married? What do you think?"
Nora felt her cheeks flush; she knew Aaron was teasing her, so she said, "You can do that as long as you can handle my Mom's wrath."
Aaron raised an eyebrow lightly, saying, "We already have kids together. Emma's opposition won't matter."
Nora glanced at him and said, "Really? You can try it!"
Aaron chuckled softly and said, "I can handle Emma's wrath, but not my fiancee's."
Nora glanced at him again and ignored him.
Suddenly, the lights in the banquet hall went out.
The hall plunged into darkness.
Guests gasped, wondering if there was a power outage.
Nora was surprised, too; just as she was about to speak, music started playing.
Soon, the hall began to twinkle with little lights, like stars blinking in the night.
At that moment, a large electronic screen in front of the stage lit up.
A picture appeared on the screen.
It was presented in a comic book style.
A tall man in a neat suit walked out.
He drew a heart with his finger.
Then, he directed the heart to float towards a woman in a white dress with long hair.
The woman's hair swayed in the wind as if time had frozen.
Guests watched excitedly, speculating on the creator's intentions.
Suddenly, a magnetic and pleasant male voice echoed from the screen.
[Baby, meeting you is the serendipity of my life. Falling hopelessly in love with you, its highest ecstasy . To guard with you is the heart's deepest vow in this lifetime. For you, I'm willing to do anything. My love for you will be infinite! Nora, my Baby, will you marry me?]
After this confession, the heart on the screen suddenly turned into fireworks, then transformed into a sentence.
[Nora, I Love You.]
The people in the banquet hall watched the screen, screaming with excitement.
They all knew someone was proposing.
And by looking at the physique and appearance of the characters in the comic, they could guess who was proposing and being proposed!
"Oh my, that's the voice of Aaron, the CEO of Gordon's group, right?"
"It must be his voice! His voice is so pleasant!"

The surrounding guests were all discussing.
Then, melodious music started playing again.
A soft light suddenly shone on Nora and Aaron in the center of the stage.
Aaron smiled, gazing tenderly at Nora, then knelt on one knee, holding a ring in his hand.
"Nora, will you marry me?" he asked.
Nora stood there, stunned.
Although she had anticipated a proposal, she never expected Aaron to propose so romantically and publicly.
Thinking of their past experiences, tears welled up in her eyes.
She wasn't upset but rather excited and happy.
The feeling of being cherished by Aaron made her feel like she was in the clouds.
Nora forgot to breathe, just staring blankly at the kneeling Aaron, unable to speak.
At that moment, the electronic screen displayed another comic.
In the comic, there were five children.
The child in the middle opened his mouth, and a cute voice came from the screen.
[Mommy, please say yes to Daddy's proposal! He has passed our test, and we all agree that he's a good man. Marry him, and you'll be happy!]
After speaking, the other children clapped and shouted together.
[Mommy, we love you forever!]
Then, the child on the far right said

The guests burst into laughter at this statement.
The atmosphere suddenly became lively.
Someone whistled, and then the guests started clapping, encouraging Nora.
Initially, they chanted, "Marry him, marry him!"
When Nora heard the voice from the screen, she recognized it as Alex's voice.
And the last one to speak was Millie.
Listening to their cute and innocent voices, especially when they said they loved her forever, Nora's tears flowed uncontrollably.
Just as she was touched for a moment, Millie's last words made her laugh.
Nora wasn't sure if Aaron had carefully planned this; he probably knew she would cry, so he had Millie say that.
Nora covered her mouth, crying and laughing.
Evella, Harper, Howard, and others approached them.
Evella and Harper clapped vigorously.
Evella called out, "Nora, say yes quickly!"
Harper chimed in with a smile, "Say yes!"
Only Gary seemed unhappy. "Dr. Hamilton, don't say yes too quickly; make him kneel a bit longer!"
Evella reached out to pull him back, saying, "Gary, stop talking and step back!"
Gary glanced at her and said, "Evella, you haven't married into the Hamilton family yet, so don't speak!"
Evella fell speechless.
Howard came over, wrapping his arm around Evella's slender waist. "Gary, get ready to help Evella prepare for the wedding."
Evella glared at him, nudging him with her elbow. "Don't spout nonsense."
Howard leaned close to her ear and said, "Don't spoil the mood; we're still in the honeymoon phase."
His warm breath brushed against her ear, causing Evella's heart to race. She bit her lip and whispered, "Don't stand so close to me."
Howard chuckled softly, remaining silent but keeping his arm tightly around her waist, savoring her fragrance and soft body.
On the dance floor, amidst the applause of the crowd, Nora took a deep breath and finally extended her hand.
Aaron smiled, gently sliding the ring that had been already warmed by his touch, onto her ring finger.
Then he stood up, embracing Nora gently.
The venue erupted once again with enthusiastic applause and whistles.
And someone encouraged them to kiss each other.
