Chapter 507 Why He's Still Approaching Nora

"Are you at home?" Aaron asked.

Nora nodded and agreed, "Yes."

"You didn't go out?" Aaron inquired again.

Nora teased, "Didn't Frederick inform you?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow and asked, "Did you take Alex to see Matthew?"

Nora realized that Frederick must have reported her whereabouts to Aaron, so she replied, "Yes,"

Aaron shook his head helplessly and said, "Well, at least you didn't go alone."

Nora smiled as she thought of something, and her pretty face turned serious again.

She remarked, "I probably won't see him again in the future."

Aaron looked surprised and inquired, "Why?"

"He wants to sacrifice himself for love," Nora said.

"Sacrifice?" he added.

"Yes," Nora replied and recounted Matthew's story to Aaron, leaving out the part where Matthew asked her to marry him. She didn't want everyone to get the wrong idea.

After listening, Aaron squinted his brown eyes and sighed, "He is indeed deeply affectionate."

Matthew was probably the heir of a prominent family, as his experience matched the rumors. But why would he choose to sacrifice himself for love and still approach Nora?

"Yes, he is so affectionate that it is both moving and pitiful." Nora sighed, "Matthew is a good husband, but he is not a good father. He never considered his daughter."

Aaron regained his focus and looked deeply at her, comforting, "Perhaps it's because Matthew is deeply in love with his wife."

Nora felt that he was right. When she saw the man's profound gaze on the phone screen, she felt that his expression was implying something.

She blurted out, "Don't tell me that if your beloved woman dies one day, you will do the same!"

Aaron laughed and assured, "Don't worry, I won't let such a thing happen. I will make sure I die before my beloved woman."

Nora was speechless. He wanted to die before his beloved woman. He wasn't a god, so how could he guarantee who would die first? Moreover, the one who remained alive would suffer even more.

Nora glared at him, scoffing, "Aaron, you are so selfish. Don't you know that the living suffer more than the dead when facing death?"

Aaron continued to smile gently and advised, "Then let's die together in the future."

Nora felt that he had tricked her. She suggested, "Bah! It's the Christmas season; let's not talk about death."

Aaron's smile never faded. Nora didn't want to argue with him anymore. She touched her stomach and said, "I'm hungry. I won't talk to you anymore; I'm going to eat."

"Nora, I won't be able to come back until after Christmas. Please behave at home and think of me. Don't go wandering around," Aaron reminded her.

"I won't think of you. I'm hanging up." Although Nora said that, she had a smile on her face.

After ending the call, she was about to go and eat something when her phone received a message. It was a picture sent by Sandy.

The photo showed a beautiful garden, and the surroundings didn't look like the Hamilton Villa.

Nora: [Sandy, where is this?]

Sandy: [This is our new home, Nora. Would you like to come and visit for a while?]

Nora: [Do you have food there? If you do, I'll come for lunch.]

Sandy: [Don't worry, I'll make sure you're well-fed!]

Nora: [I see; you don't really want to invite me to play; you want me to help you finish the leftover food, right?]

Kenneth probably ordered a lot of delicious food for Sandy again! Sandy quickly sent a photo that showed a row of exquisite lunch boxes, at least a dozen of them.

Sandy: [I haven't started eating yet. This is definitely not my leftover food. I'll be waiting for you!]

Nora chuckled softly and replied with an "OK" emoji.

She changed her clothes and went to find Alex, who was in the children's room.

Nora knocked on the door, inviting Alex, "Alex, I'm going to play with Sandy. Do you want to come with me?"

"No," Alex replied and was sitting at the computer, preparing to compete with Reginald. He noticed that Reginald's profile picture was no longer gray. He was online now!

"Then I'm leaving," Nora said.

Since Alex didn't respond, she didn't plan on taking him with her. At the computer, Alex started typing.

Babe Alex: [You're finally online.]

Reginald: [Yes]

Babe Alex: [Are you in Lindwood City?]

Reginald: [We must have met before.]

Babe Alex: [Who are you, exactly?]
Reginald: [What do you think?]

Alex's face was serious, and he was a little angry.

Babe Alex: [I won't guess. Just tell me, who are you?]

He wanted him to admit his identity in person!
Reginald: [You tell me, awe-inspiring hacker, Babe Alex, are you a beauty or a child?]

Alex gritted his teeth. Reginald must have figured out that Nora, who had video-called him last time, was not the hacker.

With Reginald's hacking skills, it was easy for him to dig up someone's background.

And today, in Matthew's room, he had taken the computer into the inner room, almost exposing himself to Erin.

Perhaps Erin later told Matthew about it, and that's how he figured it out.

Babe Alex: [Don't reveal my identity.]

Reginald: [So, the famous hacker, Babe Alex, is not a beauty, but a child?]

The words appeared on the screen, and through them, Alex seemed to see the mockery on the other person's face.

Babe Alex: [Did you hear what I said?]

Reginald: [I did. But I have a condition.]

Babe Alex: [What condition?]

Reginald: [I'll tell you later. Just remember it for now.]

Babe Alex: [Are you trying to pursue my mom? Let me make it clear: I won't help you with that.]

Reginald: [I don't need your help.]

Babe Alex: [What exactly are your conditions?]

Reginald: [Don't worry. You'll find out later.]

Babe Alex: [I want to make it clear that this condition cannot violate morality, and you can't make me do anything illegal.]

Reginald: [Okay.]

After seeing the reply, Alex sighed in relief. But he still felt uneasy.

Babe Alex: [Reginald, do you really want to pursue my mom? Although you are handsome, my mom is very loyal. She only likes Uncle Aaron. You have no hope, so you better give up early.]

He was really afraid Reginald would continue to pester Nora, and then Aaron would know that Alex had brought a rival to him!

Reginald: [Thank you for your advice. I'm going offline now.]

After he sent the message, his profile picture turned gray.

Alex kept frowning and doubted if Reginald really listened to what he said.

Outside, Nora was in Frederick's car on her way to Sandy's new home. Aaron's villa was a distance away from Sandy's new home, about a half-hour drive.

Just ten minutes into the drive, Nora received a call from Sandy.

Nora thought Sandy was asking about her whereabouts, so she answered with a smile.

Nora answered, "Sandy, don't rush me. I'm already on my way."

Sandy replied, "I'm sorry, Nora. I'm afraid I won't be able to entertain you today. I have to go out now." Sandy's voice was full of apology.
