Chapter 746 Re-do

That Jesse tortured her in various ways last night, even injuring her cervix!

Did this mean that she may not be able to conceive in the future, unable to have children anymore?

'Why was this happening? Why!' Sunny thought.

Sunny broke down in tears.

Bonnie, seeing her cry, felt uncomfortable, too.

"Sunny, should we call the police?" Bonnie asked.

She had already heard about Sunny's situation from a familiar doctor last night.

Really infuriating.

Really wanted to throw that perverted Jesse into jail!

"Call the police; I want to call the police!" Sunny shouted.

She couldn't accept this fact.

Jesse tormented her, making her infertile.

She hated that bastard!

"Alright, I'll call the police right away!"

Bonnie took out her phone to make the call.

Sunny wiped her tears, watching Bonnie dial the number, a rush of impulse after the outburst.

Sunny said, "Don't call the police; you can't call the police!"

Bonnie was puzzled. "Why? He almost killed you; we can sue him for intentional harm."

Whatever happened last night; the main thing was that Jesse, that pervert, was still Sunny's benefactor.

She still relied on him for resources. If she called the police now, she would just end up being played for nothing! She could't accept that!

Sunny shook her head. "Don't call the police; he's a big shot; I'm just a small actress; we can't best him."

Sunny had no one backing her now, even if she reported to the police and they really arrested Jesse, he could find a way to get away with it. Then, she would not only lose her resources but also irritate Jesse. Not worth it!

"Are you simply going to allow him to torment you like this? What if he do it again in the future?" Bonnie was indignant.

Thinking of the near-death experience from last night, Sunny shivered. She curled up, hugging her knees, burying her head in her knees, tears streaming down her face. "I don't know, I don't know!"

She didn't know what to do next. She really didn't know! At this moment, Sunny deeply regretted it. She shouldn't have entered the entertainment industry to make money. This was God's punishment for her.

She was punished like this because she took something that didn't belong to her! At this moment, the door was knocked open, and someone walked in. Sunny looked up, somewhat excited, when she saw Nora coming in. "What are you here for?"

It was all because of Nora that she ended up like this! If it wasn't for Nora backing Becky, which caused her to be blacklisted, how would she end up with that bastard?

The person who came in was Nora and Jane.

Nora walked to the bedside, looking at Sunny's pale lips, and said softly, "I heard you had an accident; I came to see you; let your assistant go out first."

Sunny's chest heaved excitedly. "I don't need your fake concern; the one who should be leaving is you!"

Hearing this, Nora bent slightly and whispered in her ear, "Are you sure you want your assistant to know that you impersonated me five years ago?" Sunny's body stiffened, looking at Nora in shock.

Meeting Nora's smiling face, she felt guilty and shocked. 'Nora knew! How could she know!'

"What are you going to do to Sunny?" Bonnie, loyal as ever, quickly asked.
"Bonnie, you go out first," Sunny suppressed her emotions and said.

"But Sunny..."

"Get out."

"Okay." Bonnie glanced at Nora again, then slowly left the room.

At the door, Frederick was guarding. Bonnie wanted to eavesdrop, but seeing Frederick's fierce look, she had to stay further away.

In the ward, Jane sat on the sofa, silent for the time being.

Nora sat by Sunny's bedside, her face calm.

Unlike her calm demeanor, Sunny was on the hospital bed, feeling guilty, and fidgeted with her fingers.

"Dr. Smith, what did you just say about impersonation?" Even now, Sunny was still trying to deceive herself.

Nora smiled, "You should have understood, Sunny; that night, five years ago, you impersonated me, making Aaron mistakenly think you were the woman he met that night.  For all these years, you've been capitalizing on his guilt, taking advantage of the resources he provided you, and you've felt justified in doing so."

Sunny's eyes flickered, trying to deny it. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Nora said, "Sunny, I have already conducted the paternity tests; you don't need to deny it anymore."

They had already done paternity tests.

At this point, denying it was meaningless.

Sunny bit her lip and looked up at Nora. "Is it because you found out I deceived you that you let Becky snatch my resources?"

Nora nodded, "That's right."

Sunny's eyes reddened excitedly. "Why did you do this to me? Why not just tell me you already knew the truth? Why made me suffer at the hands of a pervert, Nora? I hate you!"

Nora calmly watched Sunny cry, then handed her a few tissues. "Sunny, how dare you blame us? When you followed Suzy's orders and plagiarized my medical paper, have you ever think you were doing the wrong thing?"

"When Aaron and I were getting closer, you followed Suzy's orders, drugged Aaron, trying to ruin our relationship. Have you ever shown a hint of regret?"

"Now you blame us for not telling you the truth; isn't that a bit ridiculous? If it weren't for your vanity, if you still held onto any shred of morality, you should have confessed to us voluntarily; everything you're going through now is your own fault!"

Listening to Nora's accusations, Sunny's emotions were unsettled for a while. "Yes, it's all my fault, I was too vain. I deserve it. You've see my current miserable state. You should be satisfied now."

Thinking of last night's ordeal, thinking that she might never be a mother again, Sunny covered her face and cried out in pain.

Nora, seeing her cry so miserably, shook her head.

She cried as if Nora was bullying her. "What do I have to be satisfied about? I just want you to realize your mistakes."

Sunny cried. "This is my fault. I was deluded; I couldn't resist temptation, and I brought this upon myself. Please, don't use a superior tone to blame me."

Nora wasn't angry either; she changed her sitting position and asked, "Do you really know you were wrong?" Sunny, with tearful eyes, called out, "I was wrong; how many times do you want me to say it?"

Nora nodded. "If given another chance, would you impersonate me in the entertainment industry once again?"

Sunny wiped her tears and said, "If I could start over, I wouldn't do it again, whatever the temptation!" It seemed Sunny was deeply affected.

Nora smiled. "Then let's start over."

Sunny wiped away her tears, looking at her with red eyes. "What do you mean?"
