Chapter 588 This Man Is So Scary

Evella's gaze swept over a few people, her small face tense, her fingers clenched into fists.

When Linda saw Evella, she said, "Evella, Simon saved you and took advantage of you, so he should be responsible for you."

Nancy asked deliberately, "Yes, Evella, are you unwilling?"

Karen continued, "Evella, why are you reluctant? After all, Simon is a wealthy young master. As the daughter of a rapist, you should be grateful to marry him."

Nancy added, "Yes, Evella, you should appreciate the opportunity"

Listening to the three of them singing in harmony, Evella delicate face tensed up. She took a step forward and directly slapped Nancy and Karen, one after another.

Everyone was stunned.

Nancy and Karen reacted, covering their faces with angry eyes and saying, "Evella, how dare you hit me! I'll tear you apart!"

As they were about to fight with Evella, Richard pulled Nancy away and then grabbed Karen's arm, dragging her to the window in front of everyone, and pushed half of Karen's body out of the window.

Karen screamed in fear, "What are you doing? Let me down, help!"

Richard's speed was too fast, leaving everyone in shock.

Richard smirked coldly, "Tell me, why did you make Evella faint? Who ordered you to do this?"

Fortunately, he had been cautious when chatting with the Romero family couple just now.

After Linda, Nancy, and Karen went downstairs, he found an excuse to go upstairs to find Evella.

Unexpectedly, he saw Simon taking off Evella's clothes. So, Richard knocked out Simon, then took Evella out of the room.

When Evella regained consciousness, Richard learned that it was Nancy and Karen who had deceived Evella and made her faint.

Considering the current situation, it was obvious that someone was deliberately causing trouble, trying to ruin Evella's reputation and prevent her from being with Howard.

The puppeteer behind this incident must be revealed to clear Evella's name.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Linda; please help me!" Karen's face turned pale with fear, shouting.

Rachel and Linda snapped out of it and ran over.

"Richard, let's talk it out, put Karen down first," Rachel said.

"Yes, Richard, what are you doing? Put her down!" Linda reached out to pull Richard but was blocked by Evella.

"Richard is seeking justice for me. Just now, Nancy and Karen tricked me into this room, drugged me with a handkerchief, and luckily, Richard saved me. I just want to know who ordered them to do this!" Evella looked towards Nancy with a sullen expression.

Nancy swallowed nervously, her face turning pale.

After hearing Linda's words, Nancy and Karen were confident that Evella couldn't produce evidence, and even if she accused them, no one would believe her.

But Richard was so scary and straightforward!

Was it her turn to be taught a lesson next?

She needed to make a quick escape!

Nancy quietly stepped back.

Nora narrowed her eyes, quickly stepped forward, blocked Nancy's path, and said, "Where are you going, feeling guilty for doing something bad?"

Nancy's gaze shifted, and then she held her stomach as if in pain, saying, "No, I suddenly have a stomach ache; I need to go to the bathroom."

Nora pulled out a silver needle, saying, "How does your stomach ache? I'm a doctor, and I'm good at acupuncture. No matter what pain you have, as long as I stick a needle, it will be immediately relieved. Where should I stick the needle?"

Nora gestured towards Nancy's abdomen with the silver needle.

Nancy's face blanched in fear, standing stiff. "I don't need it. My stomach doesn't hurt anymore!"

She had heard of Nora's reputation as a miraculous healer. When the young master of the Woodhouse family had his hand bitten off by a dog, Nora managed to reattach it! Nora was skilled in acupuncture and must be proficient in acupoints. If she pricked Nancy's vital point, Nancy would be dead!

Nora glanced at Nancy, deliberately gesturing with the silver needle in front of her.

Nora had a smile on her face and said, "Come on, tell me, who directed you to deceive Evella?"

Nancy swallowed nervously, her body tense, not daring to move.

By the window, Karen was hanging upside down, blood rushing to her head, eyes rolling back. She pleaded, "Pull me up, I beg you, please pull me up!"

Richard said, "Tell the truth, who ordered you to do this?"

Then Nancy and Karen said in unison, "It was Linda!"

Everyone's gaze turned to Linda.

Linda cursed inwardly, her eyes flickering without saying a word.

Finally, Richard pulled Karen up.

Karen's legs went weak, and she collapsed to the ground. Tears had already ruined her delicate makeup, and she looked somewhat dizzy at the moment.

Seeing this, Nancy became ashen with fright. She was secretly glad that Richard had only caught Karen to teach her a lesson, allowing her to escape.

Nancy asked Nora, trembling, "Can I leave now?"

Nora glanced at her and asked, "Why did Linda ask you to deceive Evella into going upstairs?"

Nancy quickly explained, "She said Evella was promiscuous; she couldn't stand Evella, so she wanted to teach Evella a lesson. She said as long as Evella's reputation was ruined, Howard wouldn't want Evella. So, she asked us to deceive Evella upstairs and then drugged her."

"At the same time, Linda brought Simon over to act as Evella's savior. And then we found an excuse to call some people up so everyone could see Simon stripping Evella."

"Then we would take some photos and post them online. Simon, as the savior who exposed Evella, the Remington family would definitely let Evella marry Simon for the sake of their reputation. This way, Howard would have nothing to do with Evella."

Listening to these words, Nora coldly glanced at Linda.

Linda was young but quite scheming.

Then Nora looked at Simon and said, "So, you weren't really saving Evella, but you were in cahoots with them, right?"

Simon swallowed nervously, feeling embarrassed.

At this moment, Richard slowly walked towards him, his gaze icy. He said, "You'd better make it clear, did you take advantage of Evella? If you dare to lie to me, I'll let you experience the thrill of falling from a height!"

In other words, if Simon didn't tell the truth, Richard was going to throw him out of the window!

Although it was only the second floor, if he was thrown headfirst, death was not far off.

Simon shook his head repeatedly, saying, "No, I didn't do anything to Sunny. I was about to take off her clothes when someone hit me from behind."

Richard wanted this explanation to prove Evella's innocence.

Many of the onlookers knew Simon, and they began whispering to each other.

"Simon actually conspired with Linda and others to ruin Evella's reputation in this way; how despicable."

"That's right. No wonder Johnson looks so helpless when he talks about Simon. Having such a morally corrupt brother is truly a headache."

"That's right."
