Chapter 995 Should I Agree with Him?
Miguel's eyes sparkled with amusement. Ever since he and Rafael had a spat with Aaron over Mateo, they'd been itching for payback.
Rafael dug into Aaron's circle and zeroed in on Gabriella.
It turned out Gabriella had a secret. She wanted to avenge Suzy, which fit perfectly with Rafael's plans. They clicked, and Gabriella even swiped the confidential docs they needed.
But now, she still tangled up with Johnnie rather than pushing Miguel to marry her.
Miguel had no plans to actually marry Gabriella. She was just a toy for his amusement. She did have a great figure, after all.
But now, she was still cozying up to Johnnie. Miguel wasn't interested in a woman with such a messy life. He'd report back to Rafael.
"What are you staring at? Is she prettier than me?" The escort beside him pouted, leaning into him.
Miguel snapped back and playfully pinched her arm. "No way, you're way prettier."
"Really?"
"Absolutely!"
"Let go of me, where are you taking me?" Gabriella struggled, but Johnnie held her tight.
"I said somewhere private, or do you want to do it here?" Johnnie's serious tone made Gabriella think he might actually do something wild in public.
She swallowed her words but felt a surge of anger. "Johnnie, what do you really want?"
"What do you think?" Johnnie hailed a cab and pushed her inside.
Gabriella felt even more frustrated. "You're just here to piss me off, right?"
Johnnie smirked. "When have I ever pissed you off? You're always bossing me around."
Gabriella looked at his innocent face and could only fume inside. 'On the surface, I'm in control. But really?Johnnie's been slowly taking over.'
She turned away, not wanting to deal with him.
The driver asked for the destination.
Johnnie mentioned his hotel. It wasn't far, and they rode in silence.
Gabriella watched his reflection in the window, feeling conflicted. Honestly, she was happy he came to find her,but his attitude made her mad.
Gabriella wanted to ask he was really here to make up or to annoy her. When they arrived, she followed him.
"You live here?"
"Yeah."
"Why here?"
Johnnie glanced at her. "Because your business partner lives here. You blocked me, so I had to follow them to find you."
His tone was low, almost hurt. His attitude actually made Gabriella feel a bit better. They got in the elevator.
"Are you mad I blocked you?" she asked.
"Why did you block me?" he replied.
Gabriella snorted, "You don't get it? I don't want anything to do with you."
Johnnie tilted his head slightly. "You don't want anything to do with me because of Susan?"
Gabriella's anger flared up, remembering how he had demanded she apologize to Susan.
"Yeah, you're all lovey-dovey with Susan. I'm not sharing a man with another woman."
Johnnie raised an eyebrow. "Sharing a man? Gabriella, do you really want to marry me?"
Gabriella felt annoyed. "Don't overthink it. You're just an assistant, not worth lowering myself for."
Johnnie stayed silent, watching her angry face.
The elevator reached their floor. Johnnie pulled Gabriella into a room and swiped the card.
Once inside, he pressed her against the wall, kissing her. His familiar scent made her heart race, but she tried to dodge.
"In such a hurry? Didn't Susan satisfy you?"
Johnnie's voice was hoarse. "You're so jealous. I'll show you if she did."
He tore off her clothes and kissed her all the way to the bed.
Gabriella's chest heaved, feeling emotional, but she didn't want to let it go easily.
She pressed against his chest, asking, "Then tell me, what are you here for?"
Johnnie smiled. "So fixated on this question. I thought my actions made it clear."
Gabriella's eyes sparkled. "You're here to reconcile?"
Johnnie replied, "No."
Gabriella's smile froze, and her face darkened.
Johnnie's eyes twinkled with amusement. "I'm here to start a real relationship with you."
Gabriella became happy. "A real relationship? So what we had before wasn't?"
Johnnie lowered his head and lightly bit her earlobe. "Which girlfriend calls her boyfriend a servant? You never intended to have a real relationship with me, did you?"
Johnnie's teasing almost made Gabriella cry out. She hummed softly, about to say something, but Johnnie's kiss silenced her.
"Talk later, let's finish this first." Johnnie's body enveloped her, and all her words were swallowed.
Gabriella felt his powerful thrusts, unable to think.
An hour later, Johnnie carried her into the bathroom. Looking at his muscles and enjoying his service, Gabriella's eyes sparkled.
Johnnie said he wanted a real relationship. Gabriella was wondering whether she should agree.
"You're looking at me like that. Not satisfied? Want to continue here?" Johnnie teased, stroking her skin.
Gabriella replied, "Aren't we discussing serious matters? Let's talk first."
Johnnie raised an eyebrow but didn't object. He wrapped her in a towel, carried her out, and placed her on the bed.
"I'm going to rinse off."
"Okay."
Just then, Johnnie's phone rang. It was Randy.
Johnnie answered as he walked into the bathroom, wearing a white robe.
Gabriella's gaze fell on his phone, her eyes flashing. She took out her phone and messaged Marlowe on WhatsApp: [Mr. Patel, he chased me to my country to talk about getting back together. Should I agree?]
