Chapter 370 Giving Her Time
Sandy was startled, staring at his handsome face so close to her.
"You..." she couldn't fully articulate her words.
"Weren't you going to take a nap? Let's do it together," Kenneth suggested as he naturally embraced Sandy's slender waist and closed his eyes.
Sandy widened her eyes, looking at his handsome features, too afraid to make a sound.
What's wrong with him today? First, he fed her soup, and now he's sleeping with her. Why did he suddenly try to get so close to her? Aren't they supposed to keep their distance, preparing for a divorce?
Sandy was overwhelmed with the questions that flooded her mind.
"Close your eyes," he said. Kenneth's long fingers touched her face, covering her eyes.
Sandy instinctively closed her eyes, feeling his familiar embrace, as her turbulent heart gradually calmed down.
These past few days, she couldn't sleep well because of her identity being exposed.
He usually wore a serious expression which caused awkwardness between them. Yet now, he suddenly turned into a gentle husband again.
Although she didn't understand why he had suddenly changed, she felt like a desert traveler who found an oasis, desperate to quench her thirst.
She didn't want to think about anything else for now.
Sandy shifted her body, found a comfortable position, and gently wrapped her hand around his waist, snuggling closer to him.
Kenneth's body tensed slightly, and he slowly opened his eyes. In his lowered gaze, he saw her peaceful sleeping face.
He drew the curtains, and dimmed the light, being so close, he could see the small fuzz on her face.
A thought flashed through his mind softening Kenneth's heart, closed his eyes again as he pulled her closer to his chest.
The fact that she would feel jealous showed that she still had him in her heart.
He would give her some time, if she still thought of Zephyr after a year, he could fulfill her wishes then!
For now, she was his wife, he would treat her well. A slight smile appeared on Kenneth's lips as he peacefully fell asleep.

Nora returned to the villa, changed her clothes, and then contacted Jenny.
Nora had Frederick drive her to the Seaton Club in Linwood City, learning that Jenny had gone there.
Arriving at the Seaton Club, she followed the server up to the third floor.
Before she could enter the designated private room, Nora suddenly had a stomachache.
She told herself, "I know where the room is; I'll go there by myself later. I need to use the restroom first."
After thanking the server for the directions to the restroom, Nora went there first.
As she passed the corner, she glanced and saw a man and a woman embracing each other. At first, she didn't pay much attention, considering it was a club where couples were often affectionate in corners, so it was normal.
But she felt that the two figures were familiar. When she recognized who the two were, her chest heaved heavily.
It was Edric and Anna! Why is it them again?
Last time at the gym, Edric said it was a misunderstanding, but what about this time? Had she misunderstood him again?
A scoundrel and a treacherous woman!
With a tense face, Nora walked quickly over, pulled Anna towards her, and then stuck a needle into the acupoint on Anna's body.
Before Anna could react, recognized that it was Nora, and her face changed slightly. She was about to speak when she suddenly realized that her right hand couldn't move.
"What did you just do to me?" she asked Nora.
Nora looked coldly at her, saying, "Nothing much. Aren't you good at seducing other people's boyfriends? I just wanted to know if the man would still want you if you were disabled!"
Anna, terrified of the thought of becoming disabled, asked again, "What did you do to me? Edric, please save me!"
The moment Edric saw Nora appear, his heart sank while sweat started to bead on his forehead.
What a coincidence!
Why did he have to encounter Nora again?
"Dr. Smith, if I say it was just a misunderstanding, would you believe me?" he asked, hopefully.
Nora gave a cold smile. "What do you think? Edric, I think I must stick a needle in you too," she said icily.
Edric trembled, awkwardly smiling. "Dr. Smith, whether you believe it or not, I am truly innocent," he reasoned.
Just a moment ago, Anna suddenly hugged him while he was making a phone call outside, saying that she hadn't forgotten him and wanted to start over with him.
He never expected this.
By the time he realized it and tried to push her away, Nora had appeared and pulled Anna away before him.
He was truly at a loss for words!
"Edric, find a way to save me! Remember, Mr. Kevin will be here soon. He's still waiting for my band to perform for him!" Anna anxiously reminded him.
Edric swallowed nervously and said, "Dr. Smith, you misunderstood what happened today. Can you please release Anna first? I have an important client coming soon, and Anna and her band need to perform for him."
Nora smirked coldly and ignored him as she took out her phone to call Jenny.
"Jenny, where are you?" Nora asked.
"I'm in room 3088. Have you arrived yet?" Jenny asked.
"Yes, come out for a moment. I'll be waiting at the corner of the restroom," Nora said before hanging up.
At this point, Nora believes that there is no need to continue hiding Edric's affair from Jenny to spare her feelings.
A leopard can't change its spots. If this continued, she was afraid Jenny would suffer even greater loss in the future.
It's better to end it quickly.
Jenny quickly came out. She walked over to Nora, and upon seeing Edric and Anna there, too, she sensed that something was amiss.
"Nora, Edric, what happened?" Jenny asked, puzzled.
Nora pulled Jenny aside forcefully. "Jenny, break up with him immediately," she demanded.
Jenny was taken aback. "What?" she asked.
Why would Nora suddenly want her to break up with Edric?
Nora looked at Anna and nodded. "Jenny, do you know who she is?" she asked.
Jenny nodded. "I know. Anna is Edric's first love," she answered.
Nora glanced at her. "You know?" she said in surprise.
"Yes, Edric told me a couple of days ago, and we just met today," Jenny said.
A hint of mockery flashed in Nora's eyes.
Edric was clever in informing Jenny in advance.
"Did he tell you that he plans to rekindle his relationship with Anna?" Nora asked.
Jenny's face changed slightly as she looked at Edric.
Edric was on the verge of panicking.
"Oh my goodness, you truly misunderstood. I have never considered rekindling my relationship with Anna. The only person I love is Jenny," Edric declared.
Nora sneered, "Misunderstanding? I'm not blind! Are you saying that you have such bad luck that I always catch you in these misunderstood situations?"
Edric sighed and rubbed his forehead. "I just have terrible luck, do you believe me?" he said.
Jenny looked at him and then at everyone else and asked, "Nora, what is going on?"
Nora looked up at the surveillance camera and said, "Edric, do you see that? There's surveillance here. Once we check the footage, everything you and Anna just did will be exposed. Will you still deny it?"
