Chapter 942 Going to Be a Dad Again
Nora found a nearby restaurant.
Without a reservation, they opted for the main hall.
Nora let Gabriella handle the ordering.
Gabriella picked the grilled fish, a house specialty, and a few sides.
While waiting, Nora sipped her water and discreetly watched Gabriella. She still found it hard to believe.
'Gabriella is Suzy's younger sister?'
'If she's here for revenge, she's hiding it well.'
'Gabriella's been nothing but friendly.'
'Both sisters are great at acting.'
Just then, the waiter brought their grilled fish.
Nora liked grilled fish, but the smell made her nauseous.
She frowned, took a sip of water to calm her stomach.
Soon, all their food arrived.
The grilled fish smelled amazing.
"Wow, it smells so good!" Gabriella said.
"Dig in," Nora replied.
"Alright, I won't hold back!"
Gabriella started eating.
Nora took a bite but found it repulsive.
She forced it down but gagged.
Gabriella looked concerned. "Nora, are you okay?"
Nora waved her off. "I need to go to the restroom."
Gabriella watched her leave, looking thoughtful.
Nora rushed to the restroom, her stomach churning.
She dry-heaved but couldn't throw up.
After a moment, she felt better and took a deep breath.
'What's going on?'
'Did I eat something bad?'
A thought hit her, and she checked her pulse.
It was weak but indicated she was pregnant!
Nora's heart raced. She was pregnant!
The kids' long-awaited sibling was on the way!
She felt a surge of joy and wanted to call Aaron.
But knowing he was busy, she decided to surprise him later.
She touched her belly, imagining Aaron's reaction, and chuckled.
"Nora, why are you laughing to yourself? Are you okay?"
Gabriella walked over, concerned.
Nora's smile froze. "Why did you come over?"
"I was worried about you."
Gabriella teased, "You came out with me. If something happened, Mr. Gordon would kill me."
Nora smiled. "I'm fine."
Gabriella glanced at her belly. "Nora, you felt like throwing up. Could you be pregnant?"
Nora didn't hide it. "Yes, I'm pregnant."
Gabriella raised an eyebrow and smiled. "I guessed right. Congrats, Nora, you're going to be a mom again."
Nora smiled and washed her hands.
"Nora, have you told Mr. Gordon?" Gabriella asked.
"Not yet. I'll tell him when I get home," Nora said.
"Mr. Gordon will be thrilled when he finds out," Gabriella said.
Nora saw Gabriella's happy expression and smiled, but she wondered what Gabriella was really thinking.
They went back to their seats, and Gabriella asked the waiter to replace the fish with lighter dishes.
As Nora ate elegantly, a glint appeared in Gabriella's eyes.
'Nora's pregnant.'
'Perfect timing.'
'Aaron and Nora will have to avoid sex for the next few months.'
'Can a man like Aaron really go months without having sex?'
After the meal, Nora and Gabriella went shopping for clothes.
Gabriella ditched her usual style and bought only plain outfits.
Nora quietly watched, curious about Gabriella's next move.
By evening, Jeffery noticed they hadn't returned and sent a driver to bring them home for dinner.
Soon, Aaron arrived with Johnnie.
Gabriella's smile froze when she saw Johnnie, surprise flashing in her eyes.
"Weren't you on a business trip to Bescosarst? Why are you in Youston?"
Johnnie replied, "Mr. Gordon called me back."
Gabriella glanced at Aaron.
Aaron was chatting with Nora, Billy, and Samantha, a gentle smile on his face.
'Why did Aaron call Johnnie back?'
'Is something important going on?' Gabriella wondered.
"Did Mr. Gordon call you back for something important?"
"He didn't say," Johnnie replied.
Gabriella didn't press further and joined the group.
Seeing Aaron's doting gaze on Nora, she felt a twinge of jealousy but hid it well.
"Nora, aren't you going to tell Mr. Gordon the good news?"
Aaron looked at Gabriella. "What good news?"
Nora touched her belly. "I'm pregnant. You're going to be a dad again."
Aaron's smile froze, and he stared at Nora, stunned.
Samantha exclaimed, "Mommy, am I going to have a little brother or sister?"
"Yes."
"Great! I'm not the youngest anymore. I'm going to be a big sister."
Samantha clapped and giggled.
"Nora, are you really pregnant?"
Jeffery quickly walked over, looking Nora up and down.
"Yes, Mom. I diagnosed it myself. It's early, but it should be accurate," Nora said with a smile.
"Good, good, good. I'm going to have another grandchild!"
Jeffery excitedly repeated "good" several times.
Caden walked over, and Jeffery's eyes softened.
Caden was happy too. He put his arm around her shoulder. "We're going to have a new family member. We're going to be grandparents again!"
Both of them beamed with joy.
After the initial excitement, Jeffery realized their posture was too intimate. Her smile froze, and she quickly pulled away from Caden's hand, turning away.
Caden awkwardly rubbed his nose.
Jeffery was going to be a grandmother again, but she still had her temper!
"Congratulations, Mrs. Gordon," Johnnie sincerely congratulated.
"Thank you."
Nora smiled and saw Aaron still staring at her. She found it amusing.
Nora pinched his face and said, "Why aren't you saying anything? Are you dumbfounded?"
Aaron's Adam's apple bobbed, and he looked at her belly. He carefully placed a hand on it.
"Honey, are you really pregnant?"
A hint of amusement flashed in Nora's eyes, "Yes, you're going to be a dad again."
