Chapter 725 Help Me with Your Mouth
Aaron raised his eyes slightly, looking at Nora's desire that couldn't be hidden between her closed eyes. A wicked smile played at the corner of his lips.
"Honey, what do you think I want you to help me with?"
Nora opened her eyes slightly, meeting Aaron's brown eyes. Her gaze unconsciously drifted towards his well-fitted suit pants.
Aaron had always wanted to play something interesting with her.
Aaron cleared his throat, leaning down to rub the soft flesh on Nora's neck.
"Honey, tell me, what are you thinking?"
Nora, utterly beguiled by Aaron, grasped his jet-black hair, retorting, "Nothing."
"Really?"
Aaron's warm breath sprayed on her fair skin, causing a slight shiver.
Nora bit her lip and responded.
Aaron chuckled lightly, whispering in her ear.
"Honey, have you ever thought about helping me in a different way? Your eyes just showed it a moment ago."
Nora blushed, somewhat embarrassed, and exclaimed, "What do you want me to help you with?"
She would get flustered when she was embarrassed.
Aaron chuckled softly. "Honey, with your mouth."
"Aaron!" Nora interrupted him in a hurry.
Amusement glinted in Aaron's brown eyes.
"Honey, I mean, help me unbutton my shirt with your mouth. What are you thinking?"
Nora was speechless.
That Aaron was always teasing her!
Nora kicked towards Aaron's body with her legs swinging.
"Shut up!"
Aaron chuckled, "Honey, don't kick it. If you hit my sensitive spot, you won't be able to enjoy my service anymore."
"I'm going to take a shower. Let me go," Nora said.
Aaron coaxed. "Help me take it off."
Nora replied, "You have hands. Take it off yourself."
"My hands are serving you," Aaron said.
Nora was speechless.
Two days later, Brandon arrived in Lindwood City.
Brandon, in his thirties, with blond hair and a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, looked very refined.
Nora greeted Brandon and introduced him to Howard.
Howard had already been informed about Joseph's situation. He smiled and shook hands with Brandon, waiting with Nora for Richard to bring Joseph to the hospital.
In Richard's apartment, he had previously put a small amount of sleeping pills in the water Joseph drank, causing him to fall asleep, and then drove him to the hospital.
Seeing them arrive, the medical staff pushed a stretcher over, took the sleeping Joseph out of the car, and rushed him to the emergency room.
"Dr. Smith, Howard, I entrust Joseph to you," Richard said nervously to the two.
"Don't worry." Nora gave Richard a reassuring look, then accompanied Brandon into the operating room.
Richard stood outside the corridor, praying continuously, hoping Joseph would be fine.
In the operating room, after all the medical staff had disinfected themselves, they prepared to consult on Joseph's case.
Because of Joseph's unique condition, Howard had already informed the hospital director early on, ensuring full cooperation from the hospital staff.
The medical staff quickly performed a CT scan on Joseph's brain, took his blood samples, and conducted a series of tests.
After the examinations, Nora checked Joseph's pulse.
With a slight shock, her expression turned serious.
Howard, standing beside her, noticed her furrowed brows and asked, "Nora, how is he?"
Nora carefully checked Joseph's pulse again and then let go.
"His pulse is very unstable, and he seems to be poisoned."
Howard was taken aback. "How could this happen? Joseph showed no abnormalities these past few days."
Looking at the sleeping Joseph, Nora said, "He seems to be poisoned with a chronic toxin. We'll have to wait for the lab results to confirm."
She hadn't expected Joseph to be poisoned.
It was probably Jerry's doing.
Nora turned to Brandon, who was examining Joseph, and asked, "Doctor Brandon, have you noticed anything?"
Brandon joked. "Dr. Smith, I'm a psychologist, not a mind reader. Just by looking at him lying there, I can't diagnose anything."
Nora was a bit distracted due to Joseph's poisoning.
She smiled at his words. "Let's wait for the results of his brain CT scan."
Brandon requested, "Dr. Smith, please leave. I need to conduct a private consultation."
Psychologists usually require a private space for consultations.
Nora understood and gestured for Howard and the medical staff to leave the operating room, giving Brandon the space he needed.
Joseph's brain CT scan and blood test results were expedited. While Nora and the others waited, the medical staff brought the test reports.
Nora first looked at the blood test report.
The data on the report indicated that Joseph was indeed poisoned with a rare toxin.
After checking Joseph's pulse, Nora concluded that the toxin had spread throughout his body.
From what Nora knew, once poisoned with this toxin, a person would rot and die within a year at most or half a year at least.
The person who poisoned him was truly malicious.
Howard, seeing the report, furrowed his brows.
"Who would poison him so viciously?"
Nora said, "If we hadn't detected it, Joseph would have had a year at most to live."
Howard frowned. "Did they plan to control the Bilian Group within a year and make Joseph useless?"
Nora nodded. "It seems so."
Howard said, "Luckily, we found out early and we can try to detoxify Joseph."
Nora looked at the report, silent for a moment.
She had studied Herbalism, and she knew that this poison was virtually incurable.
The other party was determined to kill Joseph.
"Nora, are you quiet because the poison in Joseph's body is tricky?" Howard guessed vaguely.
Nora didn't hide it from him.
"The poison in Joseph can be considered incurable."
Howard's face turned serious. "Is there really no solution?"
Nora clenched the report. "I will find a way to save him."
Regardless, she had to find an antidote.
"Nora, you must find a way to save him." Howard urged.
He had been worried since Joseph went missing in the water.
If Joseph died, Evella would be devastated.
After all, Joseph was targeted by someone because he saved her and Richard.
If Joseph died, Evella would feel guilty for a lifetime.
He didn't want Evella to secretly hold feelings for Joseph.
"I will," Nora replied.
Soon, Brandon emerged from the operating room.
Nora approached him. "Doctor Brandon, how is he?"
"Don't worry, let me take a look at his brain CT first," Brandon said.
