Chapter 795 Solving the Problem at Its Root

Edric was preparing to make an announcement and placed a set of photos of the two of them kissing underneath the text.

"Take a look. Do we need to add anything else?" Edric asked.

Jenny leaned in to look.

Edric playfully tapped her nose. "I should add that if you betray me, you will be punished by God, too."

Jenny pouted. "Childish."

Edric raised an eyebrow. "Am I childish?"

"Yes, sometimes you think everything through, but situations change, and there's nothing you can do about it!" Jenny said.

Edric's brown eyes narrowed slightly as he pinched her chin. "Jenny, why do I feel like you're hoping for a divorce? Tell me, would you ever betray me?"

Jenny pulled his hand away. "I'm not as fickle as you. I wouldn't."

Edric explained, "I was only fickle before marriage. I've been very well-behaved since."

Jenny's eyes sparkled as she nodded. "True, it's not that you're fickle now; it's that you stink!"

Edric was taken aback. "I stink?"

"Yes, you're like a rotten egg that attracts flies!"

A mischievous glint flashed in Jenny's beautiful eyes.

Edric laughed and pulled her into his arms. "Honey, it's fine to tease me, but don't talk about yourself like that!"

Jenny blinked. "What did I say about myself?"

Edric sneered. "Saying you're a fly isn't right. You're clearly a little bee."

Jenny was speechless.

She lightly punched Edric's firm chest. "I'm not attracted to you."

Edric chuckled, catching her small hand and kissing it. "You're a two-faced woman."

After some affectionate banter, Edric posted the edited content under his own name.

Jenny's smile faded slightly. "Edric, your mom will be furious when she sees your statement. Aren't you afraid of making her sick with anger?"

She could imagine Fiona seeing the statement and causing a scene.

"What can I do? I'm not omnipotent. I can only keep one person happy." Edric looked helpless.

So Edric chose to keep her happy.

Jenny smiled involuntarily.

Edric looked at her. "Are you happy now?"

"I'll have Alex take down the news."

Since Edric had already made a statement, she decided to let it go.

Jenny called Nora. "Nora, tell Alex to take down the news."

At that moment, Nora had just finished a call with Aaron.

She raised an eyebrow. "So soon?"

Jenny glanced at Edric. "Edric made a clarifying statement and kicked Ursula out."

"Looks like you two have made up?" Nora asked.

Jenny raised her chin proudly. "Just for now. Who knows if there will be another Ursula."

Nora chuckled softly and said nothing.

Edric cleared his throat. "Um, Nora, I'm sorry I wrongly accused you."

Admitting his mistake promptly, he wanted to make amends.

"It's fine to wrong me, just don't wrong Jenny," Nora said.

"I wouldn't dare," Edric quickly promised.

Nora responded, "I'll call Alex right away to take down the news."

"Okay."

Edric hung up, exhaled deeply, and wiped the nervous sweat from his forehead.

Jenny couldn't help but laugh at his actions.

"Honey, do you have to be so dramatic?"

"Honey, I'm not exaggerating at all. Feel my forehead, am I sweating?"

Edric grabbed her hand and placed it on his forehead.

Sure enough, his forehead was sweaty.

Jenny teased, "Are you that afraid of Nora?"

"Yes, seeing her makes me more nervous than seeing your mother," Edric said.

Jenny burst out laughing. "Then I will definitely get along well with Nora in the future, so you won't dare bully me!"

Edric wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her red lips. "I wouldn't dare bully you. Just don't bully me."

Jenny asked, "When have I ever bullied you?"

Edric replied, "You were ready to divorce me over another man. Isn't that bullying me? I've never been treated like this in my life."

Edric looked aggrieved, and Jenny's heart softened.

She cupped Edric's face and kissed his sexy lips.

"Alright, don't be mad. If you get sick, I'll be heartbroken."

Jenny's eyes sparkled, and her voice was soft and tender.

Edric's eyes darkened as he pulled her closer. "Then take care of me now."

"Stop it, we're in a parking lot."

"Then let's go back to the office."

"No, you're so annoying!"

Nora called Alex and asked him to take down the news.

Alex readily agreed and quickly removed the news from the Ford family's website.

The backend data finally returned to normal, and the tech department staff, who had been overwhelmed, breathed a sigh of relief.

The staff were all puzzled as to why they couldn't find out who was behind it.

Who had Galactic Media offended?

After finishing the call with Alex, Nora was deep in thought.

'Edric had come to his senses and kicked Ursula out.'

'But that was just the first step.'

'As Jenny said, once Ursula was gone, there would be other women.'

'So the problem had to be solved at its root.'

'And to solve it at its root, Betsy had to come into play!'

At the Bishop family, Fiona quickly saw Edric's statement and was so angry that she kept clutching her chest in pain.

She demanded that Edward immediately bring Edric back.

Edward, exhausted by Fiona's tantrums, finally managed to calm her down. He told the butler to have the driver take him to the club to relax.

On the way, Edward's car was rear-ended by another vehicle.

At that moment, Edward was sitting in the back seat with his eyes closed, resting.

Already in a bad mood, the traffic accident made him even more irritable.

"Go see what's going on," Edward told the driver, Wade Grant.

Wade got out of the car.

The driver of the other car, Betsy, also got out.

Wade checked the damage. Fortunately, it wasn't too serious.

He looked at Betsy, who was walking over, and said, "Do you even know how to drive?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to. I got distracted by a phone call and didn't realize I had hit you," Betsy quickly apologized.

Seeing that Betsy was a woman and her apologetic attitude, Wade didn't say much and went to report to Edward.

Edward, in a bad mood, got out of the car with a stern face.

Betsy, holding her injured forehead, apologized again.

"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to."

Seeing Betsy looking pitiful and admitting her mistake, Edward didn't want to argue with a woman.

He glanced at the car's rear end and saw it wasn't badly damaged, saying, "You should go to the hospital for a check-up."

Betsy's eyes flashed, and she pretended to be surprised. "Are you Mr. Bishop, the head of the Bishop family?"
