Chapter 454 Am I Not Attractive to You?
Elsa was shocked.
Someone had dared to bully her daughter?
Elsa's face darkened. "Who bullied you?" she asked, furiously.
Angry, Olivia said, "One of the secretaries at the president's office, as well as Quinn and others. They all bullied me!"
Before leaving the company, she wanted to check the surveillance footage, but the security room refused to let her in. They said that employees didn't have the right to view the footage. If she wanted to see it, she had to get approval from her superiors.
Olivia was furious and wanted to find Aaron, but Mia stopped her, saying that Aaron wasn't available.
She was extremely angry!
Elsa grasped one of the key points and asked, " Quinn? Who is she?"
Olivia said, "Mom, she is Aaron's other lover! And Nora knows about her, but she doesn't care!"
"She's very arrogant," Olivia added. "This woman is very good at seducing people. She insulted me for being ugly and having a bad figure."
Elsa's expression darkened in anger, and asked, "And then? Did you tell Nora about this?"
"I did, but she just said she knew. She even told me to stop staring at others. Is she stupid?" Olivia snorted, still unable to understand Nora's thoughts.
Elsa sneered, "Olivia, Nora isn't stupid, she's clever."
Olivia stared at her, puzzled.
Elsa continued, "There are too many men who cheat. Ordinary people would do it, let alone someone as outstanding as Aaron. Nora is a single mother who has given birth to three children. It's fortunate for her that Aaron likes her.
"Naturally, she has to tolerate him in order to secure her position in his heart. So, if Aaron has a mistress, of course, she has to pretend not to know."
Elsa analyzed the situation with her thoughts.
Olivia thought for a moment and said, "So that's how it is. Mom, does that mean I have a chance to be Aaron's woman too?"
Elsa looked at her and said, "You will have a chance, Olivia. Your greatest advantage is not casually flirting with men. So, before Aaron falls in love with you, you must remember not to let men take advantage of you easily."
Hearing this, Olivia blushed shyly and laughed, "Of course, even if I were to let a man take advantage of me, that man can only be Aaron."
She paused and continued, "But Aaron doesn't seem to like me, and his secretary is so annoying; she has been stopping me from going into his office. Mom, what should I do?"
Upon hearing this, Elsa lightly tapped her forehead.
"Are you stupid? Why do you have to go to Aaron's office? You can run into him elsewhere," Elsa suggested.
Olivia touched her forehead and suddenly understood. "Oh, Mom, you're so smart. I should try to meet him when he is alone and then have a private conversation with him. That way, he will definitely be attracted to me," she replied.
Elsa smiled, and said, "Exactly."
Olivia said, "But when will Aaron ever be alone? I'm so anxious."
Olivia really wanted to spend time alone with Aaron tomorrow, to let him discover her beauty!
"Olivia, dinner is ready. You can eat now," Arthur entered the room.
Olivia looked at him and joyfully said, "Uncle Arthur, please use your connections to find out Aaron's whereabouts in the past few days. I want to run into him coincidentally."
Arthur was stunned, and asked, "What do you want to do with him?"
"To make him notice my beauty!" she declared.
Olivia playfully shook his hand and said, "Uncle Arthur, please help me check. I'll go eat now."
Arthur would naturally fulfill any request from Olivia.
After escorting Olivia downstairs, Elsa began making phone calls to find someone to investigate Aaron's whereabouts.
Downstairs, Olivia ate her meal while telling Elsa about being locked in the bathroom today.
Elsa's expression darkened with anger when she heard that Olivia was being bullied.
Olivia had apparently offended someone. It must have been someone jealous of her connections with Aaron and Nora, so they were playing tricks behind her back.
Hearing this, Olivia scoffed, "I bet it's that Quinn who made Mia do it! When Aaron and I are together, I'll make sure he avenges me right away!"
Elsa glanced at her, feeling a little concerned. "Olivia, maybe you shouldn't go to work. You've never worked before, so you don't know how malicious people can be in society," she advised.
Olivia replied, "I'm not afraid of them! I can only get what I want through challenging experiences. Whether it's outside or at the company, I have to frequently bump into Aaron and make him fall in love with me as soon as possible!"
Elsa frowned. Before she could say anything, Arthur came downstairs.
"Olivia, I asked around. Aaron took a flight back to Houston this afternoon. It seems there's some trouble at one of Gordon’s group's subsidiaries, and he went back to handle it personally," Arthur informed.
Upon hearing this, Olivia became excited. "Will he still be in Houston tomorrow?" she asked.
If Aaron didn't return to Lindwood City tomorrow, she would have the opportunity to be alone with him.
"It sounds like the issue at the subsidiary is quite tricky; otherwise, he wouldn't have personally gone back to deal with it. So, he probably won't return to Lindwood City any time soon," Arthur analyzed.
Olivia nodded repeatedly and said, "Uncle Arthur, Mom, what if I go to Houston now?"
She couldn't wait to have a chance to encounter Aaron.
"No, it's too late today. I don't feel comfortable letting you go alone," Elsa said.
"Exactly; I also do not agree with you going right now," Arthur added.
"But..." Olivia wanted to protest.
"All right, Olivia, you rest well at home tonight. When you're feeling refreshed tomorrow, I'll have someone accompany you. How about that?" Arthur suggested.
" Arthur is right," Elsa agreed and advised, "Look at your face right now. You look weary and not attractive at all. Get a good night's sleep and restore yourself to your best state. That's how you'll capture Aaron's attention."
After hearing this, Olivia touched her face and gave up on the idea of immediately going to find Aaron.
"That makes sense! Mom, I won't eat. I'll stay at Uncle Arthur's house tonight, and I'll go put on a face mask and get a good sleep!" Olivia replied.
With that, she quickly pulled out the chair and rushed upstairs to freshen up.
Watching her go upstairs, Arthur felt a bit concerned.
"Elsa, are we spoiling her too much?" he asked.
Elsa replied, "She's our only daughter. Of course, we have to spoil her."
Arthur hesitated and remarked, "But Aaron isn't someone easy to control. I'm worried."
"What are you worried about? I raised Olivia myself." Elsa disagreed with him. She asked, "I just want to know if I do not appeal to you."
