"Nothing much, give me two more Bloody Marys," Jenny burped, asking the bartender for more drinks.
The bartender heard her and started mixing drinks for Jenny.
Nora looked at Jenny's flushed face and furrowed her brows. "Jenny, are you feeling upset?"
Jenny finished the last bit of alcohol in her glass. "Of course not. I'm feeling great!"
Nora could see she must be lying.
Nora turned Jenny's body towards her.
"Jenny, look at me, tell me, what's going on? Did you fight with Edric?"
At the mention of Edric's name, a hint of grievance flashed in Jenny's eyes.
She pushed Nora's hand away without a word.
At that moment, the bartender handed over the mixed drink.
Jenny picked up the glass and took another big sip.
Nora said, "Jenny, slow down; this is alcohol, not water."

Jenny did fight with Edric.
Was it because Edric was seeing another woman again?

"Who are these women that his mother is introducing to Edric?" Nora asked.
"They are all wealthy heiresses," Jenny replied.
Nora was speechless. "Shouldn't these wealthy heiresses know that Edric is already married? Why would they agree to be mistresses?"
Jenny shook her head. "The Bishop family holds a prominent position in Youston, and Edric is attractive. Many women want to be associated with him. Because of Edric's mother's encouragement, these wealthy heiresses are not afraid of being labeled mistresses."
That made sense.
In the end, it was because of Fiona's interference that these women acted so boldly.
"Just last week, when Edric went on a business trip to Fchilia, a woman followed him, and I even received photos of them entering and leaving the hotel together."

"Jenny, look at me. Do you remember when we encountered Anna?"

Nora continued, "When faced with Anna's entanglement, I advised you to think carefully about whether you want to be with Edric. You said you believed in Edric's feelings for you. If that's the case, why do you suddenly find it pointless now? Do you no longer love him?"
