Edward sighed, "Your mom misunderstood me."
Fiona had misunderstood Edward.
Edric's brown eyes narrowed as he looked Edward up and down, noticing a faint scent of perfume.
His eyes sharpened. "Dad, did you find another woman?"
Edward glared at him. "What nonsense are you talking about? Do you think I'm that kind of person?"
"Then what happened? What did Mom misunderstand?" Edric asked.
Edward didn't hide it. "Your mom has been nagging me about your issues every day. I was so annoyed that I went out to listen some music to relax."
"Just now, I was listening to music, and your mom suddenly barged in. She probably misunderstood me and the singer, started cursing her, and tried to hit her. When I stopped her, I accidentally pushed her, and she fainted, probably from anger."
Hearing this, Edric was curious. "You've been going out to watch shows every day? Dad, you have quite the taste."
Edward glared at him. "What do you mean? I went out to watch shows because you and your mom were driving me crazy."
