Chapter 582 Can't Let Loose at Your Place
They left the tavern and went home separately.
Howard looked at Richard, saying, "I didn't expect you to know Rachel."
Richard replied, "I have business dealings with Mr. Romero. When Rachel was studying abroad, Mr. Romero asked me to take care of her."
That made sense.
Howard actually thought that Rachel and Evella were of similar age. If Richard liked younger girls, Rachel would fit his criteria.
Howard said, "You take care of Ms. Romero so well. She must be very grateful to you."
Richard glanced at him, probably guessing his thoughts. He said with a smile, "Yes, she respects me like an elder."
Howard glanced at him and stopped chatting, reaching out to Evella, saying, "We should go. Mr. Rogers, see you later."
He thought, 'We'd better never meet again.'
In a few days, it was Rachel's birthday party, and they both had to attend.
"See you later." Richard glanced at Evella and then got into the car.
Howard squinted at his back, thinking, 'Why did Richard have to look at Evella before leaving?'
'What did he mean by that?'
Howard instinctively looked at Evella.
There were many beauties in the upper circles of Lindwood City.
Apart from her eyes, Evella's appearance was not outstanding. How come Richard was attracted by her
Sensing his gaze, Evella touched her face and asked, "Is there something on my face?"
Howard said, "Yes."
"What?" she asked.
Howard patted her face. Her skin was so smooth and tender, like jelly, tempting him to touch.
Howard said, "It's gone."
"What was it?" Evella looked at him but found nothing on her face.
"It was a small piece of crumb; I threw it away," Howard lied without changing his expression.
Evella looked at him and playfully hit him, saying, "Liar. Are you trying to take advantage of me?"
Howard, caught in the act, didn't feel embarrassed. "Is it considered taking advantage of you if I touch you?"
Evella asked, "Isn't it?"
Howard said, "Of course not! You're my girlfriend. When I touch you, it's called caressing."
How could he explain taking advantage in such a peculiar way?
"Howard, we're not..." Evella said.
"You're enjoying it, aren't you?" Howard interrupted her, holding her waist tighter.
Evella knew he was telling her to be quiet.
She lifted her foot and rubbed it on Howard's shiny shoes.
"Are you enjoying it?" She smiled mischievously like a fox that stole meat.
Howard grinned, "I am."
Her stepping on him meant she loved him!
Nora hid in Aaron's arms, covering her mouth as she laughed.
Aaron held her slender waist and also smiled.
They flirted and teased each other, making people feel happy just by watching them.
Tonight, Aaron wanted to enjoy some alone time with Nora!
Aaron said, "Howard, you're responsible for taking Evella back. We're leaving."
Howard hesitated for a moment, then smiled and agreed.
After Aaron and Nora left, Evella pulled away from Howard's hand and said, "Alright. Everyone's gone; let's go our separate ways."
Howard squinted as he noticed people watching them, so he forcibly held her hand, saying, "No, that won't do. People around already know you're my girlfriend. If we part ways now, others will surely speculate that we've broken up, and then it'll be a hot topic. Do you want to keep trending?"
Evella instantly gave in. She regretted it. If she had known it would be so troublesome, she wouldn't have agreed to fake being his girlfriend.
Seeing her dejected expression, Howard couldn't help but smile.
He said, "Are you regretting being my girlfriend?"
Evella nodded involuntarily.
Howard looked at her, saying, "Then why not just marry me directly? In this way, you just have to catch the trend once more. After that, you will never be bothered with blind dates arranged by Ms. Remington in the future."
He looked at her expectantly.
Evella blinked, almost swayed.
But she quickly came to her senses and said, "No way. I haven't finished college yet; my life is just beginning. I don't want to become a wife so soon."
It was said that marriage was the grave of love. She didn't want to dig her own grave so early!
"We can get engaged first; no rush to get married, just like Nora and Aaron." Howard continued to persuade her with a soft tone, and Evella was somewhat tempted again.
What was wrong with her?
How could she be so easily swayed?
Evella shook her head, broke free from his hand, and took a step back.
She said, "You wish. You can continue daydreaming about it. I'm going home!"
Watching her walk away, Howard felt helpless. He didn't succeed in persuading her, which was a pity.
In the car, Aaron played with Nora's hand, saying, "Let's not go back to our parents' house tonight."
Nora was stunned, asking, "What?"
Aaron said, "Let's go back to our own home."
It had been a long time since he had been alone with Nora.
Tonight, he was determined to have some alone time!
Nora blinked and said, "I don't mind, but my mom will definitely mind."
Aaron hugged her, pinched her chin, and planted a kiss. "Come up with an excuse."
Nora asked, "Why do we have to go back to your place?"
At her house, the two of them secretly shared a room.
Aaron looked at her and said, "I can't get loose at your place; I can't have fun."
Aaron was so straightforward!
He added, "I think you're the same."
Nora retorted, "You're talking nonsense, I'm not!"
Aaron kissed her red lips and said, "Really? Who can't even scream when they reach the peak? Nora, it's not good to hold back. Do you want to be a little crazy?"
Nora blushed at his words. She glanced at Frederick in the driver's seat and pinched Aaron's arm.
She said, "Shut up. Have you no shame?"
Aaron chuckled and said, "I have no shame in front of you."
Nora glared and said, "I do!"
Aaron teased her.
Nora said embarrassedly, "Don't touch me; stay away from me. Frederick is here!"
Aaron glanced at Frederick's back, saying, "Don't be shy. Frederick is not young. We're just reminding him that it might be time to find a girlfriend."
Frederick, in the driver's seat, lowered the partition silently.
He thought, 'Mr. Gordon, are you sure you want me to find a girlfriend?'
'If I fall in love, you'll lose an informant!'
