Chapter 662 Stimulating His Potential
Aaron was a bit surprised. "How did she know?"
"Suzy told her,"Nora replied.
She recounted the conversation she had with Emma that morning.
After finishing, she didn't forget to tease. "See, it's all your fault! If it weren't for Suzy's interference, we would have been reunited long ago."
Aaron coughed lightly, pleading. "Yes, it's all my fault. Fortunately, the process was complicated, but the ending is perfect."
Nora smiled. Indeed, the ending was perfect.
"Who would have thought Sunny would be so bold, daring to take the place of Nora!"
Thinking of Sunny, the beneficiary in this matter, Aaron's voice turned cold.
Nora said, "It's okay. Let her be smug for a while longer. We'll deal with the imposter issue first."
"Alright, I'll listen to you."
Nora smiled. "Enough talking, I need to hang up, the water's getting cold."
Aaron said, "Nora, are you really not going to take a picture of yourself looking like a water lily and show it to your fiancé?"
Nora laughed. "I'm afraid it might harm you if you see it now. Wait until you're fully recovered."
Aaron said, "Once I'm recovered, I won't need to see it."
Nora raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"
"Because I'll want to touch it directly."
Nora, at a loss for words and her face flushing, managed to utter a 'Bye.'
Aaron chuckled, "Miss you."
Saying that, he kissed the receiver.
Nora felt a warmth in her heart and responded in kind before hanging up the phone.
Coming out of the bathroom, Nora dried her hair and checked the time. It was almost noon. She thought for a moment and sent a message to Evella.
Nora: [Evella, want to have lunch together?]
Soon, Evella replied: [Sure, I'll be waiting at the usual spot.]
The usual spot referred to the Lindwood University cafeteria.
Nora smiled and replied: [Okay.]
Thinking for a moment, she tentatively asked: [Will your uncle be bringing you something delicious?]
If she could see Richard today and ask him in person, that would be even better.
Evella: [He probably will.]
Nora raised an eyebrow and typed: [Then I'm in for a treat.]
[Nora, you are talking like you were mistreated at home every day.]
Nora: [It's different, haven't you heard? The grass is always greener on the other side.]
Evella: [Fine, you're beautiful, so you're right.]
Nora laughed, put away her phone, changed her clothes, and told Emma and Sandy before heading out.
Arriving at the Lindwood University cafeteria and watching the bustling crowd, Nora felt a bit sentimental.
In just half a year, so much had happened.
Fortunately, everything turned out well, and things were moving in a positive direction.
"Nora."
Evella was still waiting at the usual spot.
Seeing her, she happily waved.
Nora smiled and was about to walk over when a man's voice came from behind.
"Ms. Smith."
Nora turned around to see Richard.
He was carrying a bag.
Richard had indeed come to bring Evella something to eat.
Nora smiled at him. "Richard, are you bringing food for Evella?"
"Yes, she's too skinny. I need to fatten her up a bit."
Richard shook the food in his hand and said.
Nora laughed. "I think Evella will probably be quite troubled by that."
Richard raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
"Because women are all afraid of gaining weight." Nora replied.
"Why be afraid of gaining weight? Are they afraid that men will dislike them? If your brother dares to dislike Evella for being chubby, then he's not worth it."
There was a clear tone of disdain in his words.
Nora felt like laughing.
Why did she feel like Richard was hoping Evella and Howard wouldn't end up together?
"Richard, I didn't say that. Women are afraid of gaining weight because clothes look better when you're slim!"
Richard said, "How is that attractive looking like a stick? I think girls should be a bit rounder; it looks healthier."
Nora was at a loss for words.
As Richard and Nora chatted, they walked over to Evella.
"Richard, Nora, what were you talking about so enthusiastically?"
Evella asked curiously while inviting Nora to sit down.
Nora said, "We were talking about how you're too skinny and need to eat more."
Hearing this, Evella immediately pouted and pinched her belly.
"I've already noticed my stomach getting bigger these past few days. Richard, if I eat any more, I'll become a fatty."
Richard opened the bag and laid out the food containers on the table.
Then he opened one of the containers and waved it in front of Evella's nose.
"So, are you going to eat or not?"
Evella's big, lively eyes followed the container, and she couldn't help but swallow.
It was a plate of ribs made by Richard himself.
She didn't know how Richard's cooking was so good, but it always left her yearning for more!
Evella could easily eat two pounds of ribs in one sitting!
She didn't want to keep ruining her figure, but her mouth wouldn't listen!
Evella swallowed again.
"I'm throwing caution to the wind about gaining weight. My godfather made this for me, and I have to eat it. I'll just diet after I'm full."
Evella's heroic resolve made Nora laugh.
Just as she was about to speak, another voice came from behind.
"Richard, Nora."
Howard was here!
Nora turned around to see Howard wearing a long brown trench coat paired with white pants.
He was tall and slender, with a refined and handsome appearance.
"Brother, seems you are not busy today."
Howard sat down next to Richard and said, "I've just finished my work. I called Mom to ask if you were back. She said you came to school to find Evella, so I came over."
Nora nodded, wondering if Emma had told Howard about Aaron.
"You guys chat. I'll go get some more food, " Evella said as she stood up.
Richard's dishes were few and wouldn't be enough for everyone.
So she needed to buy more food.
Richard glanced at Howard and said indifferently, "Are you letting her go get the food by herself?"
Howard was taken aback, but actually, he hadn't realized.
Because Emma hadn't told him about the real and fake Aaron situation.
So he was just about to ask Nora what had happened yesterday and why her phone had been unreachable.
"I'll go with Evella," Nora said.
"No need, sit here. I'll go with Evella to get the food."
Howard quickly stood up and hurried to catch up with Evella.
Watching their backs, Nora said with a smile, "Richard, please don't be so hard on my brother. He's just straightforward."
Richard opened the food containers and smiled slightly at her words.
"I'm not being hard on him. I'm clearly stimulating his potential, teaching him how to date Evella."
