Chapter 723 Cheating on Your Wife Behind Her Back Isn't Good, Right?
Evella's tone softened a bit, and Howard knew she shouldn't be angry anymore.
"My girlfriend is not narrow-minded. Besides, you're a girl. It's normal to act a little spoiled. It shows that you care about me."
Evella glanced at him and pursed her lips. "Alright, I forgive you because these flowers are so beautiful."
Howard smiled. "Isn't it because I sincerely apologized that you forgive me?"
Evella glared at him. "I question your sincerity. Aren't you forced to apologize at first?"
"Really?"
"Is asking others for advice on how to coax a girl being sincere?"
Howard choked a bit, knowing Evella had checked his moments.
"Evella, I was just afraid you'd be angry. I was a bit flustered that time, and my mind went blank. That's why I posted for help. But I didn't remember what they said."
"Is that so?" Evella clearly didn't believe him.
Howard lowered his gaze and looked at her, his tone as gentle as water.
"Yes, because coaxing you is like cooking. As long as you do it with care, you'll understand."
Evella blinked, thinking to herself, 'Howard may not be good at everything, but he's quite good at sweet talk.'
Howard felt a shadow cast over him, then felt warmth on his lips.
Howard leaned down slightly and kissed her lips.
Evella surrendered.
She understood what Howard meant by 'do it with care'.
It turned out Howard was referring to kissing her.
He was quick to use the method they taught!
Kisses and hugs, what was next?
Were they going to have intimacy tonight?
At the thought of this, Evella's face flushed.
The mix of Howard's unique scent between their lips made her body even warmer.
Laughter seemed to echo in her ears, and people around seemed to be stopping to watch.
Evella shivered, quickly dodging.
Looking up, she saw several passersby standing not far away, watching them with interest.
So embarrassing!
Evella blushed instantly, quickly hiding in Howard's embrace.
"Howard, do you want to turn me into a spectacle? Hurry up and leave!"
Howard tasted a bit of sweetness, still somewhat unsatisfied.
He hugged Evella's soft body, swallowing.
"Alright, let's go."
Friends' advice really worked!
See, they just kissed, and his girlfriend was already throwing herself at him!
Opening the passenger door, Howard let Evella get in first, and then he went around to the driver's side.
Glancing sideways, he saw Evella's blushing face, her eyes filled with affection.
Truly, she was more beautiful than any flower.
Howard's eyes were soft as he leaned over.
At this moment, Evella still felt shy about being watched.
Seeing Howard approaching, she quickly pushed his chest, coquettishly saying, "No, stop listening to other's bad ideas!"
The bad ideas from others referred to the advice from his friends.
Howard paused for a moment, and then a hint of cunning flashed in his eyes.
"Evella, they are experienced people. Listening to them will save us from many wrong paths."
He deliberately moved closer.
Evella got anxious. "Howard, don't mess around. I won't do anything before we're married."
He'd better not learn from others and go book a room!
She was a conservative, good girl!
Howard chuckled in her ear.
Then, Howard reached out his long arm and helped her fasten her seat belt.
"Evella, I was just helping you with the seat belt."
Evella felt embarrassed.
She had overthought it, making a fool of herself.
Evella's face changed quickly, wanting to find a hole to hide in.
"Why didn't you say so earlier? You intentionally made me embarrass myself!"
Howard looked at Evella's embarrassed look, amusement evident in his eyes.
He raised his hand and tousled her smooth black hair. "I didn't say earlier because I had ulterior motives."
Evella disdainfully pushed his hand away, fixing her tousled hair.
"What ulterior motives?"
Howard smiled but didn't speak, sitting up straight and starting the car.
Evella blinked. "Just say it!"
Howard said, "If you really want to know, I was thinking of continuing as per our friends' advice if you don't object."
That meant he wanted to have sex with her.
Evella already knew what Howard was going to say, so she didn't ask.
Blushing, she muttered, "Jerk."
Howard coughed lightly. "Sorry, I'm a man. I can't resist a woman I like. And if I didn't react, you'd probably be impatient."
The way he said it made it seem like she was really horny.
Evella's face grew even hotter.
"You're the impatient one! You are desperate!"
"Yes, if I make you angry, can't coax you properly, my whole family will be desperate!"
Evella was speechless.
Nora returned to Whispering Pines Manor, not rushing to freshen up but first called Jack.
The call was quickly answered, and Jack's gentle voice came through.
"Nora?"
"It's me, Jack. Are you asleep?" Nora asked with a smile.
"No, I'm still in the lab. What's up?" Jack asked.
"I need a little help with something."
"What is it? Tell me."
"I remember you're good friends with the famous psychologist Brandon Hernandez."
Nora didn't beat around the bush. She asked directly.
"Yes, what about it?"
"Can you help me arrange a meeting with him? I need his help."
Nora briefly explained Joseph's situation.
After listening, Jack immediately agreed without hesitation.
"I got it, and I'll get in touch with him and get back to you."
"Okay, thank you." Nora smiled. "I'll wait for your message."
"Alright."
After hanging up, Nora thought of Jack's handsome and gentle face and smiled.
Although they didn't contact each other often since she came to Lindwood City, their relationship was still as close as before.
She knew Jack and Sue's relationship was quite stable, and they had already met each other's parents. They were probably getting married around Christmas.
Jack had finally found his true love.
Nora was genuinely happy for Jack.
Nora stood on the terrace on the third floor, looking up at the clear moon in the sky, inhaling the fragrant floral scent in the air, reminiscing about the past.
Before long, the courtyard gate opened, and a car drove in.
It must have been Aaron coming back.
Nora leaned on the railing, watching the car stop. Aaron got out of the driver's seat, and there was a hint of a smile in her eyes.
Aaron's figure in the courtyard was tall and straight, his left arm draped in a dark suit.
His long legs were wrapped in black trousers.
His elegance and composure was enchanting as he walked.
Nora suddenly became mischievous.
"Hey, that handsome guy, is it bad to cheat on your wife behind her back?"
