Chapter 806 Did It Have Anything to Do with You?

Nora fluttered her beautiful eyes, pretending not to know.

"What did I do?"

Aaron said, "My mom has been changing a lot lately. My dad said she found a music teacher to come home and teach her singing, and she even enrolled in a senior university. She's been very busy every day. Does this have anything to do with you?"

Jeffery's actions were quite swift.

Nora's eyes sparkled, and she nodded. "A little bit. I suggested that Mom cater to Dad's interests. Maybe he'll change his opinion of her."

So that was how it was!

Aaron pinched her delicate chin, his eyes full of affection.

"Honey, I'm so lucky to have married an emotional expert with such wisdom and grace."

Nora felt a bit smug and didn't bother to be modest. "Well, then I'll take the compliment."

Aaron's eyes brimmed with joy as he leaned down to kiss her red lips.

Nora pushed him but couldn't move Aaron, so she stopped trying.

Because Aaron's behavior was so common, she wasn't afraid of Frederick laughing at them!

Frederick, in the driver's seat, naturally kept his eyes straight ahead, focusing solely on driving.

At the Hospital VIP room.

Sandy was extremely tired and still asleep.

Kenneth tiptoed to the bedside, looking at Sandy's pale face and the two scars on it. He wasn't repulsed, only feeling heartache.

He gently held Sandy's hand without making a sound, quietly sitting beside her.

Soon, the nurse brought in a cleaned-up Otis.

Kenneth quickly got up to greet them.

Looking at the swaddled Otis, he felt a bit at a loss.

"Can I hold him?"

"Of course."

The young nurse made a gesture to hand Otis to Kenneth.

"How do I hold him?" Kenneth asked nervously, arms outstretched.

"Just hold him like I do," the young nurse said with a smile.

"Okay."

Kenneth stiffly opened his arms and took Otis.

Otis's body was so soft it seemed like he might break with a little force.

Kenneth's body tensed up, holding Otis without daring to move.

The young nurse laughed at him. "Sir, relax a bit. You don't need to be so nervous."

Kenneth laughed awkwardly. He wanted to relax, but he was afraid that if he did, he might drop Otis.

The young nurse gave him a few reminders and then left.

Kenneth stared at Otis's chubby little face, thinking the same thing as Sandy.

'This Otis is really ugly, not at all like either of us.'

Kenneth stood in the VIP room's living room holding Otis for a while, then carefully went into the inner room, preparing to put Otis in the crib.

But unexpectedly, Otis woke up.

Maybe Kenneth's embrace was too warm, so as soon as Kenneth put Otis down, Otis moved his little head and started crying with his eyes closed.

Kenneth was startled, afraid Otis would wake Sandy, so he quickly picked him up again.

As soon as he picked him up, Otis quieted down.

This little baby, even at such a young age, already knew how to demand to be held.

Kenneth furrowed his handsome brows, not wanting to spoil Otis.

But seeing Sandy sleeping soundly, he decided not to put Otis back in the crib.

He would spoil him this once!

Kenneth kept holding Otis.

Otis slept soundly in his arms.

Soon, Ebenezer and his wife, along with Xavier, arrived at the hospital.

Seeing Kenneth holding Otis, Emma said, "Ken, why are you holding the baby all the time? Why not put him in the crib?"

Kenneth said, "Mom, your grandson is quite clever. As soon as I put him down, he cries. I don't know why."

Emma glanced at him and teased, "That's the genetic factor at work. You were just as clever when you were little."

Kenneth was at a loss for words. Looking at Otis's pink little face, he laughed. "Otis, I won't blame you. I can only blame myself."

"Come, let me hold him."

Emma, full of love, took Otis from Kenneth and showed him to Ebenezer and Xavier.

Both Ebenezer and Xavier were a bit excited.

After all, they were now grandfathers.

The three of them praised how cute Otis was.

Kenneth smiled and didn't care how insincere their words were. He stepped into the inner room and sat by Sandy's bedside.

Sandy, half-asleep, vaguely heard some noise and opened her eyes.

"Ken."

"Honey, you're awake?" Kenneth's eyes lit up, and he spoke softly.

"Yes."

Sandy moved a bit and asked, "Did the nurse bring the baby?"

"Yes, Mom and the others are here. They're playing with our baby in the living room. I'll have them bring the baby in."

Kenneth helped Sandy sit up.

Sandy nodded and agreed.

Kenneth went out and told the elders, then brought the baby into the inner room.

"Sandy, you're awake. You've been through a lot," Emma said with a gentle smile.

Sandy, having given the Hamilton family a healthy boy with her first child, was indeed a great contributor to the family.

"Mom, it was nothing," Sandy replied with a soft smile.

"Are you hungry? I had the housekeeper make some soup. Do you want to drink some now?"

"In a little while."

"Alright."

After chatting with Emma for a bit, Sandy kept glancing at Kenneth. Knowing she wanted to see Otis, Kenneth brought Otis over and placed him on the bed.

"Honey, look, this is our son. Isn't he cute?"

Sandy glanced at him and said, "You're lying. He's clearly ugly."

Kenneth laughed. "No matter how ugly, he's still our child."

Emma chimed in, "Who says my grandson is ugly? He'll definitely be handsome once he grows up!"

Otis, probably hearing Sandy and Kenneth's disdain, moved his little mouth and was about to cry.

Kenneth furrowed his brows. "He's going to cry again. This little guy just doesn't like to sleep in the bed."

Sandy laughed. "Otis must be hungry and wants milk."

"Yes, my grandson must be hungry," Emma agreed.

Kenneth asked, "Should we make some milk for him?"

Before coming to the hospital, they had prepared everything.

Worried that Sandy might not have milk right after giving birth, they had also prepared formula.

"I'll try breastfeeding first."

Sandy had read many books and knew that after a baby was born, it was best to breastfeed first.

If there was no milk, then they could give formula.

Ebenezer and Xavier left the room.

Kenneth placed Otis in Sandy's arms.

Sandy slightly lifted her shirt and began to feed.

As soon as Otis felt it, he started sucking hard.

Sandy felt a tug as if something was flowing.

She was a bit emotional because she knew this meant her milk was coming in.

"How is it? Is there milk?" Kenneth asked nervously.
