Jane was just teasing him on purpose, trying to make him give up the idea of trying with her.

A glint of amusement flashed in Zephyr's eyes. "If you think the kiss wasn't satisfying enough, we can do it again!"
As he spoke, he raised his hand to grab Jane's wrist, trying to pull her towards him.
Jane slapped his hand away. "Zephyr, try touching me again and see what happens."
Zephyr looked at her. "Got it, you're a cop. You probably like to take the initiative. Go ahead!"
Jane was momentarily speechless, glaring at Zephyr, suddenly realizing he wasn't as gentle as he seemed.
Even the most refined man had a beast inside.

Jane nodded, wrung out the towel, and started wiping his upper body.

"Of course, that's the awareness a boyfriend should have!"
Listening to Zephyr's serious words and seeing his reddened ears, Jane likened herself to a wolf teasing a defenseless sheep.

Jane's lips curved into a smile. "Shall I continue undressing you then?"
She grabbed the edge of Zephyr's underwear and slowly pulled it down.

She let go of his underwear, then picked up the towel and finished wiping his legs before helping him put on the hospital gown.

She picked up the basin and walked towards the bathroom.
Zephyr quickly covered himself with the blanket and let out a long sigh.

Hubert asked, "Who's watching?"
"The new cop, Jane. She's too tough, and I can't say much," Stanley said.
Hubert sneered. "A mere cop dares to defy your orders? Just transfer her away."
Stanley said, "I'm afraid that's not possible. She has a background."
Hubert squinted. "What's her background?"
Stanley replied, "Jane's father was a former anti-drug hero. She was directly assigned to this job. She's been gaining experience outside for years; you know what I mean by gaining experience."
Hubert frowned. "She worked undercover?"
"That's hard to say. Anyway, I'm sorry, I can't help this time."
Stanley hung up directly.
Hubert, with a dark face, threw his phone onto the desk, making a jarring thud.
Hubert leaned back in his chair, staring into the void, recalling the conversation, a hint of malice in his eyes.
This Jane seemed tough.
Since she wouldn't compromise, he would have to find a way to kill her!
After leaving Sandy's room, Nora went to check on Zephyr.
Seeing he was already asleep, Nora prepared to leave.
Jane walked her to the door, and Nora smiled. "Officer Jane, Dr. Wright is a well-behaved man. You will be happy with him."
Jane smiled. "Dr. Smith, don't misunderstand. He and I aren't really a couple. You should know he said that in front of your brother and Sandy just to put them at ease."
