Chapter 752 Looked Really Lovingly
Joseph yelled in pain.
After a brief moment of astonishment, Evella quickly took the opportunity to stuff the pill in Joseph's mouth.
At the same time, Richard brought a cup of water and handed it to Joseph's mouth, making him drink it.
Joseph was forced to drink two sips of water and swallow the pill in his mouth.
Nora knocked on the door at this moment.
"Richard, I'll go open the door," Evella said.
Evella wiped the sweat from her forehead as Joseph swallowed the pill.
"Alright, go ahead. Howard, hold on a little longer until the medicine takes effect in Joseph's body before letting go."
Richard nervously stared at Howard.
"Okay." Howard held Joseph tightly without letting go.
Evella went to open the door, and Nora came in. When she saw Howard and Joseph tightly embracing in the living room, she was slightly stunned.
Howard and Joseph stood embracing each other, a scene so lovingly that it sparked imagination. Of course, such thoughts only flashed through Nora's mind.
Nora saw the mess on the floor and knew what had happened.
"Evella, has Joseph gone mad again?" Nora asked.
Evella nodded. "Yes, he injured Richard again and bit Howard."
Nora's face turned serious as she walked over, took out an injection needle, and prepared to calm Joseph down with the injection.
"Dr. Smith, it's not necessary. I just took the medicine." After taking the medicine, Joseph's emotions noticeably calmed down.
Nora paused with the injection needle in her hand, seeing that the crimson color in Joseph's eyes had indeed diminished, and his complexion was gradually returning to normal.
She put her hand down and did not proceed with the injection needle.
Joseph glanced at Howard, who was still holding him tightly. "You can let go now; I'm not gay."
Howard was speechless. Joseph made it sound like he was gay. If it weren't for the fact that Joseph was Evella's elder brother, Howard would have taught him a lesson for hugging Evella earlier.
Howard released his grip, looking disgusted. As he let go, Howard accidentally tugged at his shoulder, causing him to involuntarily groan in pain.
Evella quickly supported him, looking concerned. "Is it very painful?"
"It's okay." Howard smiled gently at her.
He understood Evella's feelings. Evella could see his pain, and the more he said such things, the more Evella felt sorry for him.
"Sit down; I'll go get the first aid kit." Evella helped Howard sit on the sofa. Watching Evella walk briskly, Howard's gaze softened, following her every move.
Joseph observed Evella and Howard's interaction, lowering his eyes slightly and glancing at his shoulder. He had also been bitten by Howard, and it hurt a lot.
But Evella only cared about whether Howard was in pain or not. In her eyes, there was only Howard. This was probably the difference between love and indifference.
"Joseph, I have already developed the antidote, but it may not take effect immediately. It will require my treatment for assistance." Nora took out the medicine bottle from her bag.
Joseph came to his senses, excited and surprised, as he took the bottle. "It's okay, as long as it completely removes the toxins from my body."
He was prepared for the worst. He never expected Nora actually to develop the antidote. He was overjoyed!
"That's great, Dr. Smith, you truly are a miracle worker." Richard was equally excited and praised Nora.
"Richard, you're flattering me," Nora chuckled.
Richard said, "What flattery? This is the truth."
Nora smiled and didn't deny it. "Joseph, I'll do some treatment for you now, and you can take the medication later."
"Okay."
The two of them went to Joseph's room together.
At this time, Evella also brought the first aid kit. Seeing bloodstains on Richard's arm, she said, "Godfather, wait for me. Let me finish treating Howard first before I help you with your wound."
"It's just a minor injury, no big deal." Richard didn't mind and went to pick up the scattered items on the floor first.
Howard, on the other hand, was quite clear-headed. "Richard, I'll tidy up the living room. You sit down. Evella, you treat Richard's wound first."
Evella was just taking out things like iodine when she heard this and responded.
"It's okay. I'm old enough, and I'm not that delicate. I'll take care of it myself later," Richard said.
"Richard, stop talking. Sit down quickly." Evella made Richard sit down. Seeing Howard already tidying up the living room, Richard didn't insist further. He sat him down on the sofa and began to treat his wound.
As Howard started to tidy up the room. By the time he had almost finished with the living room, Evella had also finished treating Richard.
"You're quite skilled at bandaging." Richard looked at the bandage with a pretty butterfly knot that Evella had tied and teased her.
Evella blinked. "Godfather, are you praising me or mocking me?"
"Of course, I'm praising you." Richard smiled and stood up, saying, "I'll go change my clothes first."
Evella acknowledged and looked at Howard, motioning for him to sit down so she could tend to the red mark on his face.
Evella leaned in close, and Howard, watching her fluttering eyelashes on her fair face, thought of the scene where she had hugged Joseph earlier. Subconsciously, he wrapped his arms around her slender waist, causing Evella's cotton swab to slip and poke his wound, Howard couldn't help but let out a sound.
"Why did you do that? Did I hurt you?" Evella said nervously.
Howard looked at her anxious expression and felt a softness in his heart. "Yes, what should we do?"
Evella furrowed her delicate brows. "What else can we do? It's all your fault for moving around."
As she complained, Evella gently blew on Howard's wound. Her delicate and charming appearance was incredibly alluring. Howard's heart immediately softened.
"Don't hug other men in the future," Howard said.
Evella blinked, looking at Howard's handsome face, understanding that he was referring to when she hugged Joseph earlier.
She was somewhat speechless. "That was a special circumstance."
"Even so, I'll be jealous." Howard was straightforward.
Seeing Howard's serious expression, Evella playfully said, "Only men can hug each other, right? By the way, when you and Joseph were biting each other earlier, it looked really lovingly."
Howard was speechless.
He and Joseph bit each other, showing both love and conflict.
Seeing Evella's bright and affectionate eyes, Howard drew her closer. "Didn't we look affectionate when we are together?"
Howard's chest was firm and warm, his rising tone carrying a hint of danger and allure.
Evella blushed slightly, glanced in the direction of Richard's room, and pushed him away. "Let go quickly, don't let Godfather and Nora see."
Howard said, "So what? They are experienced. They would understand."
Evella blushed.
Howard felt a tickle in his throat and leaned in slightly as if to kiss her.
