Smiling slightly, Aaron stood up straight, took Nora's hand, and then gestured for everyone to be quiet.
"Thank you all for coming to witness my proposal. I announce that our Gordon family and the Hamilton family are officially joining in marriage. From today on, Nora is my fiancee!" he said.
There was another round of applause.
Aaron slightly turned to the side, pinched Nora's chin, and passionately kissed her.

Unable to stop her, Nora could only help her up and said to Zephyr, "Dr. Wright, she has wounds on her legs and can't walk yet. Could you please help me carry her to the bathroom?"
"I don't need his help." Jane refused outright.
