"Aaron, you and Nora better keep an eye on her; don't let her go crazy in public," Caden hesitated for a moment and cautioned.

Caden retorted impatiently, "You better remember what you just said."

Seeing Caden and Jeffery about to argue again, Aaron's breath sank, a sign that he was getting angry.
Nora quickly held Aaron's hand tightly, interlocking their fingers, silently comforting him.

"Are you leaving or not? Should I gather the guests now and have them judge who is right and who is wrong?"

Nora thought for a moment. "Aaron, you stay here to entertain the guests with Dad; I'll accompany Mom to the dressing room."

He didn't care if Caden was in love with someone else, but he was a bit curious about what the lively and understanding woman Caden mentioned looked like.

Jeffery coldly smiled. "Let me tell you, you better not let me catch you seducing Caden. Otherwise, you'll regret it!"
Betsy lowered her eyes and remained silent.
Nora looked at her, thinking that Betsy inherently had a promiscuous nature, and she wasn't sure if she was innocent with Caden.
