Chapter 958 She Was Seducing Mr. Gordon

Soon, Aaron's tall figure came into view.

With his black suit, he blended into the night.

He approached slowly, exuding a natural nobility.

"Mr. Gordon, you're here?" Gabriella said softly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Her every move was strikingly similar to Nora's.

Aaron stopped in front of her. "How can I make her care about me?"

"Mr. Gordon, don't be in such a hurry," Gabriella smiled charmingly.

"Hurry up and tell me," Aaron said, glancing at the time, clearly impatient.

Gabriella stepped closer, looking up at him. "People tend to thrive more when there's competition. If she had a rival, don't you think she'd pay more attention to you?"

Aaron's brown eyes narrowed. "You mean, find a woman to pretend to be Nora's rival and make her jealous?"

"Exactly. A little jealousy can strengthen a relationship," Gabriella nodded, smiling seductively.

"Mr. Gordon, if you don't mind, I can help you with this."

Aaron's eyes flickered. "You want to be her rival?"

Gabriella laughed. "Yes, since we're close. I don't want to see you two arguing over trivial matters every day. I might as well sacrifice myself."

Aaron said nothing, deep in thought.

Gabriella moved closer, her hands resting on his shoulders, brushing off imaginary dust. "Mr. Gordon, trust me, women understand women best," she said softly.

The night was perfect for fostering ambiguous feelings. Gabriella was confident her subtle teasing would captivate him. She was becoming more like Nora, and even if Aaron had a strong will, he would be moved by her.

A skilled hunter often appeared as the prey, and Gabriella prided herself on being a skilled hunter.

Aaron sneered inwardly. 'So Gabriella called me here to seduce me? Such a petty trick!'

He pulled Gabriella's hands away and stepped back. "Not a good idea. Her personality is tough; if she sees us in a scandal, she'd probably ask for a divorce without a second thought."

"Then you can explain it to her later, can't you?" Gabriella continued, "Follow my advice, and it will definitely strengthen your relationship."

Aaron frowned, thought for a moment, then shook his head. "I still think it's inappropriate. Forget it, I'll handle it myself. It's getting late; I should go."

He turned to leave.

"Mr. Gordon, wait a moment," Gabriella called out.

As Aaron turned back, she pretended to trip and fell into his arms. "Oh dear."

Aaron frowned, catching a glimpse of a flash in the corner of his eye. Reporters were here!

Originally, Mateo's visit had attracted many reporters to the estate, but they should have left by now. It seemed Gabriella had specifically invited someone over.

Aaron calmly pushed Gabriella away. "Sorry, I accidentally tripped," Gabriella apologized.

"As long as you're okay. I'm leaving now; you should head back early too," Aaron said.

"Mr. Gordon, won't you reconsider my proposal?"

"No," Aaron walked away briskly.

Gabriella watched his tall figure, standing still for a moment before smiling. There might be some commotion tomorrow.

In a nearby pavilion, Johnnie watched the scene intently, his lips tightly pressed. He still couldn't trust Gabriella and had been following her in the shadows.

He hadn't expected to see Gabriella and Aaron meeting.

Gabriella had thrown herself into Aaron's arms.

She was seducing him!

Ahead, Aaron walked briskly towards the guest rooms.

Frederick emerged from the shadows. "Mr. Gordon, there are reporters."

"Yes, I know."

Frederick hesitated. "Johnnie is here too."

Aaron paused, surprised. "He came with the reporters?"

"No, he came alone."

Aaron raised an eyebrow, thinking. After dinner, he had sensed something off about Johnnie. Although Johnnie's abilities weren't as good as Noe's, he wasn't a fool either. Had Johnnie discovered something? Was he now monitoring Gabriella?

"Keep it quiet," Aaron said. He wanted to see what Johnnie would do next. Would he be used by Gabriella, or stay loyal to Aaron?

Johnnie returned to the guest room, expressionless, and went to wash up. Before long, Gabriella returned, looking cheerful.

Seeing Johnnie with a hairdryer, she said, "You took a shower? Let me dry your hair."

"No need, you're not feeling well. Finish up and get some rest," Johnnie replied, avoiding her touch.

Gabriella's hand hung in the air. She looked at him for a moment, then withdrew her hand and kissed him. Her hand slipped inside his robe, caressing his chest. "Do you want me to help you first?"

Johnnie pulled her hand away. "No, I'm not interested."

Gabriella added, "You don't like using hands? Then I'll use..."

"Gabriella, I'm not that desperate. Go wash up," Johnnie interrupted, looking impatient.

Feeling awkward, Gabriella ended the conversation, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom. Johnnie, expressionless, finished drying his hair and sat on the sofa with his laptop.

Gabriella came out after washing up, seeing him working silently. She lost interest in teasing him and got into bed. Her abdomen felt slightly uncomfortable. Thinking of Johnnie's tenderness last night, she felt uneasy. She had thought Johnnie was different from other men. It seemed she had overestimated him.

'Johnnie isn't much different from other men. If I hadn't gotten my period today, Johnnie probably wouldn't have been so cold to me!'

Lost in thought, Gabriella's foot touched something warm. She lifted the blanket to see a hot water bottle! Johnnie had quietly filled it for her. Gabriella couldn't help but smile slightly. Johnnie might be dull, but he was genuinely considerate. And she had a soft spot for that.

The computer screen reflected Johnnie's face. Gabriella wanted to talk to him, but seeing him busy, she gave up. She scrolled through her phone for a while and started feeling sleepy. Yawning, she glanced at Johnnie, still working. "I'm going to sleep. Don't stay up too late."

With that, Gabriella lay down, scrolling through her phone a bit more before drifting off to sleep. On the sofa, Johnnie paused, looking at the sleeping Gabriella, his lips pressed tightly. After sitting for an hour, he got up, turned off the lights, and quietly walked to the bed, listening to Gabriella's steady breathing, confirming she was asleep.

Johnnie's gaze swept over her phone. He gently took Gabriella's finger and pressed it on the phone, unlocking it.
