Chapter 420 Planning for a Buy One Get One Free?

Nora entered the children's room and saw Ryan sitting obediently on the sofa, using the computer.

"Ryan, take a break. Nora is here to treat you," Mrs. Woodhouse gently said.

"Aunt Nora." Ryan looked up and politely greeted Nora.

Nora smiled and walked over to ask, "What are you watching? Videos?"

"No, I'm watching the tutorials my teacher sent," he replied.

Mrs. Woodhouse added, "During this time, Ryan has been resting at home and falling behind on a lot of schoolwork, so he's catching up now."

So that was the case.

Nora touched the little boy's head, admiration in her eyes.

He was truly good.

Unlike some children, who'd take advantage of being sick to laze around and play, Ryan obediently went to lie on the bed.

She motioned for him to get on the bed and began treating him as usual.

After she finished the injection, Mrs. Woodhouse, at the side, started chatting with her.

"Nora, have you heard? Suzy wants to divorce Jackson," she said.

Nora's hands paused for a moment, surprise in her eyes. "Really? I haven't heard."

"It was when I went to my lady's room this morning.; I overheard your mother talking on the phone with her," Mrs. Woodhouse explained.

"Your mother said Jackson is no good. Not only does he keep mistresses outside, but he also hits Suzy. Suzy's really pitiful, so your mother wants her to quickly divorce him and then find a suitable match for her to remarry," Mrs. Woodhouse relayed.

Emma wanted to find someone suitable for Suzy.

In Lindwood City, few families could be compared to the Hamiltons.

Who'd Emma want to marry Suzy off to?

Nora's eyes flickered slightly, and her lips tightened.

Don't tell me they were still eyeing Aaron!

Of course, even if Suzy wanted to, there was no way he'd accept her.

"Later on, I heard from my lady that your mother's also eyeing the Remington family's eldest son. She wants my lady and Mrs. Hamilton Senior to persuade Mrs. Remington Senior together so that Suzy could get engaged to their eldest son," Mrs. Woodhouse continued.

Hearing this, Nora was shocked.

What? Why was Emma still fixated on the Remington family's eldest son?

"I remember both families broke off the engagement because of Suzy's scandal. I don't think the Remington family would let her into their family," she said.

Mrs. Woodhouse nodded. "I thought the same, but my lady said that Mrs. Remington Senior has always wanted to marry Evella to Howard. However, your mother doesn't like Evella. Still, if the Remingtons insists on marrying Evella into the Hamiltons, then they must make the Remingtons' eldest son agree to marry Suzy."

Nora was speechless.

How did Emma come up with this idea?

Was she planning to buy one and get one free?

Emma was really fond of Suzy. She was always trying to find ways to help Suzy climb the social ladder.

"Do you think the Remington family would agree?" Mrs. Woodhouse asked, unsure of the answer.

Nora pursed her lips, Archer flashing through her mind. She remembered Evella mentioning that after his engagement with Suzy was called off, he started dating Harper.

'He'd better not agree,' Nora thought to herself as she prepared to remove Ryan's medical equipment.

Mrs. Woodhouse told Ryan to take a nap, so he obediently lay down, being very well-behaved.

"Nora, let me accompany you to find Chloe," she said, still concerned about Chloe's situation.

"Okay," Nora replied. They left the villa, heading towards the small house where Chloe lived.

At that moment, Mrs. Woodhouse's phone rang. She paused in her steps and said, "Nora, let me take this call."

Nora nodded and said, "Sure, take your time. I'll go ahead."

"Okay," Mrs. Woodhouse agreed while Nora walked forward.

Passing through a few corridors, she arrived in front of the place where Chloe lived. From a distance, she saw Chloe hurriedly coming out and grabbing a young woman. The two of them were arguing, and the woman pushed Chloe before turning and leaving.

Chloe seemed furious, grabbing onto the woman's hair and reached into her coat pocket. The young woman was furious and shouted, pinching Chloe's waist several times and making her cry out in pain.

Seeing this, Nora's face turned cold as she quickly walked over.

"Let her go," she said firmly.

Who was this woman?

How dare she hit and berate someone mentally challenged. Was she even human?

The young woman was surprised, but released her grip on Chloe's hand when she saw Nora approaching. Nora stared sternly at her, pulling Chloe behind. "Who are you, and why are you bullying her?"

The woman looked to be around 18-19, with big wavy curls and bright red lipstick on her lips. She was dressed in a woolen dress with a dark red coat draped over it, making her look fashionable and mature.

Hearing Nora's question, she looked Nora up and down with an arrogant look. She retorted, "And who are you?"

"I'm whoever, but what's important is why are you bullying her?" Nora asked coldly.

The young woman scoffed, "Which eye of yours saw me bullying her? She was the one pulling my hair!"

As she said that, she touched her messy hair and glared at Chloe hatefully.

Being stared at, Chloe burst into tears. "You took my things; give them back to me!"

Snow slowly started falling from the sky, the cold wind blowing. Chloe took in a breath of cold air, coughing violently while crying.

Nora quickly comforted her, "Don't cry, don't cry. I'll make her return them back to you."

As Chloe's coughing subsided, she grabbed Nora's hand. "She took my jewelry. Help me get it back!"

"Okay."

Nora agreed and then looked at the woman.

"Please give her back her things." Nora pleaded.

The woman scoffed again, sizing up Nora once more. Seeing her plain attire, she thought Nora was a poor relative who came to the Woodhouses for charity.

"Who do you think you are, ordering me like this? Do you know who I am?"

Nora's expression remained cold as she retorted, "I don't know who you are, but I know she's Mrs. Woodhouse Senior's daughter. This is the Woodhouse family's residence, so I assume you're not stupid enough to act recklessly here!"

"You..."

"I'll count to three. If you don't give her things back by then, I'll go find the Woodhouse elders to intervene for her!"

Nora couldn't be bothered wasting more words with her and warned aloud.

The woman stared at her, her face contorting drastically.

At this moment, Mrs. Woodhouse hurried over.

"Nora!"

Seeing her, Chloe ran to her as if she had seen a loved one and cried even louder.

"Mrs. Woodhouse, she took my things!"

Mrs. Woodhouse glanced at the young woman, gently comforted Chloe before saying, "So it's Olivia. How old are you? Why are you still acting so immature, stealing things from people?"
