Chapter 800 My Wife Must Have Her Reasons
At this moment, Aaron was at Youston Airport, preparing to board a flight back to Lindwood City.
Seeing Edric's call, he answered.
"Hello?"
"Aaron, let me ask you, did you know Nora had Betsy seduce my dad?"
Edric tried hard to suppress his anger and asked directly.
Aaron looked bewildered. "What did you say?"
Hearing the surprise in his tone, Edric felt a bit relieved.
"So you didn't know about this?"
Aaron was silent for a moment. "What exactly happened?"
"I want to ask Nora what my family did to offend her and why she kept messing with my parents."
Edric said angrily, "She actually had Betsy seduce my dad, causing my mom to have a heart attack and end up in the hospital. What is she trying to do?"
Aaron was silent for another moment, then said calmly, "Why are you so agitated? If Nora did this, she must have a reason. Think about it carefully."
Here they went again!
Aaron was defending Nora again!
Edric felt frustrated and said angrily, "Aaron, if I secretly sent a woman to you, would you hold a grudge against me?"
Aaron replied coldly, "You haven't sent a woman to me before?"
Edric was at a loss for words, knowing Aaron was referring to the incident five years ago when he got drunk and sent Sunny to Aaron's bed.
"That was when we were young, just messing around. Look, later on, when you fell in love with Nora, did I ever send a woman to you to ruin your relationship?"
Aaron was silent for a moment, then suddenly said, "I know why Nora did this."
"Why?"
Edric said irritably, "Is it because she thinks my mom treats Jenny badly, so she's taking it out on my mom in this way?"
Aaron sneered. "Nora isn't that petty."
Edric was speechless.
He didn't want to listen anymore; he wanted to block his ears!
But Aaron's voice came through again.
"Nora did this to let your mom experience what it's like to have another woman around her husband. Your mom has been sending women to you; Nora just wanted her to feel the same way."
Hearing this, Edric was slightly stunned, his brown eyes flickering as he understood.
For a moment, he didn't know what to say.
He didn't know whether to be angry or to admire Nora's creativity.
How could Nora come up with this, making Fiona feel the same way?
Edric rubbed his forehead. "Aaron, Nora is really..."
Aaron said, "What? Are you going to scold her for meddling again?"
Aaron's tone carried a hint of displeasure and danger.
Edric, used to being suppressed by Aaron, said helplessly, "I wouldn't dare."
Aaron said, "I thought so. You shouldn't be scolding Nora, you should be thanking her instead. Look at how much she's worried about you and your wife's issues!"
Edric was speechless.
He should thank Nora!
"Alright, I have to board the plane now, that's it."
Aaron hung up after speaking.
Listening to the sound on the phone, Edric felt complicated.
Seeing Betsy sneaking a glance at him, Edric thought that although Betsy was acting under Nora's instructions, she still managed to captivate Edward, and his face darkened.
"Betsy, if you don't want to die, leave Youston immediately!"
Betsy's eyes flickered, hesitating. "I need to ask Nora about this."
Betsy wanted to leave!
But Betsy didn't know if her task was considered complete!
Nora promised her money, and more than half of it hadn't been transferred to her account yet!
Edric was speechless, feeling like Youston had become Nora's domain.
Everyone listened to her!
Nora had become the leader of Youston!
"Betsy, I advise you to leave Youston within the next two days. Otherwise, if my mom comes to trouble you, I'm afraid Nora in Lindwood City won't be able to save you in time!"
Now that Edric knew the truth, he naturally wouldn't make things difficult for Betsy anymore.
But Fiona was different.

Watching Edric's departing figure, Betsy's eyes flickered, and she quickly took out her phone to call Nora for further instructions.

At the entrance, he saw Jenny waiting with her bag.
He honked the horn.
Jenny saw Edric's car and ran over.
After she got in the car, Edric fastened her seatbelt.
"Honey, my mom had another heart attack and is in the hospital now."
Jenny's eyes flickered, pretending not to know. "How did that happen?"
After fastening her seatbelt, Edric looked up at her.
"Honey, do you really not know the reason?"
Jenny continued to feign ignorance. "Is it because of our issues?"
"No."
Edric stared into her eyes. "My mom found out today that my dad has an affair with a singer, so she got so angry she ended up in the hospital."
His gaze was deep and probing as if he could see through her.
Jenny's fingers curled slightly, pretending to be surprised. "Did Dad betray Mom?"
Edric didn't answer directly but asked, "Honey, can you guess who that singer is?"
"Who is it?"
"Betsy."
Edric's gaze was fixed on her.
Jenny felt she couldn't hold on much longer.
But she still pretended to be surprised under the pressure. "Betsy, isn't she in the entertainment industry? Now she's a singer?"
Edric said, "I just saw her. Can you guess what she said?"
Jenny's heart skipped a beat, wondering if Betsy had confessed everything to Edric.
Jenny asked nervously, "What did she say?"
"She said Nora instructed her to seduce my dad. Honey, do you really not know about this?"
Edric's gaze was deep, with a hint of doubt.
At this point, it was pointless to keep pretending.
Jenny scratched her head and said, "Yes, I know about this. Sending Betsy to seduce Dad was a plan that Nora, Becky, and I came up with. The purpose was to let Mom experience the anger and frustration when another woman suddenly intruded into her husband's life."
