Chapter 594 Redoing Genetic Comparison
Nora was stunned and blinked.
Millie and Billy suddenly ran off, which was different from their usual behavior.
In the past, they would finish talking, and Millie, Billy, and Samantha would leave together.
Then, when Nora heard Samantha singing, she understood why Millie and Billy had fled.
At this moment, Samantha held a microphone and sang with a not-so-standard Bel Canto, hitting high notes.
Samantha's voice was so penetrating!
Millie and Billy must have been shocked by it!
Nora rubbed her temples; she was grateful that they lived in a large mansion.
There were no outsiders upstairs or downstairs.
If they lived in a neighborhood, they would definitely have been complained about.
Emma, listening to Samantha's high notes, couldn't help but clean her ears and lean in.
"Samantha, be careful with your voice, don't strain it!" Emma said.
Samantha put down the microphone, a hint of pride on her small face. She said, "It's okay, Grandma, I'm using a mix of true and false voices to sing."
Nora was speechless.
Samantha indeed sang with a mix of true and false voices.
But when she sang, even demons wouldn't dare to approach.
"Mama, I want to learn singing with my teacher, can I?" Samantha's eyes sparkled, seeking Nora's opinion.
Nora raised her eyebrows slightly, saying, "Sure, I'll talk to your music teacher tomorrow to discuss it."
Rarely did Samantha have something she wanted...
As long as Samantha liked it, she would support her.
And maybe Samantha could develop in the music field in the future.
"Great! Mama, then I'll sing for you again." Samantha's eyes lit up; she cleared her throat and prepared to sing again.
Nora's eyelids twitched, and she said quickly, "Babe, I haven't eaten yet; the food will get cold, so I will catch your songs next time."
She didn't want her ears to be tortured again!
Samantha pouted her small mouth. "Mama, I thought you were different from Billy and Millie! It turns out you have no taste either."
She had no taste!
Nora blinked and asked, "What do you mean? How am I tasteless like Billy and Millie?"
"You don't want to listen to me sing again; it's because you think I sing badly, but the teacher clearly praised me for singing well!" Samantha was a little angry, pouting her cute mouth.
Nora rubbed her temples; this music teacher was quite good at inspiring people!
Nora coaxed gently, "Samantha, you misunderstood; I didn't think you sang badly; go ahead and sing for me."
"No, I'll go sing for Dad instead; Dad definitely has better taste than you guys!" Samantha said.
Nora laughed, thinking, 'Hurry up and torment Aaron's ears.'
She could finally have some peace.
Samantha hung up.
Nora chuckled and started eating.
Emma, across from her, listened to the entire conversation and said, "Millie, Billy, and Samantha are lovely; our Hamilton family's genes are good."
Indeed, Millie, Billy, and Samantha had really good genes.
Half were inherited from Nora, and the other half were from their father.
But no one knew who their father really was.
Aaron's figure inexplicably came to mind.
Aaron truly had good genes.
It was just a pity that he had no blood relation with Millie, Billy, and Samantha.
Nora felt a bit regretful and ate quietly, thinking, 'Blood relations.'
Something suddenly flashed in her mind.
She paused while eating and suddenly looked up, saying, "Mom, you always said Suzy was Aaron's lifesaver because she once donated bone marrow to Aaron, right?"
Emma nodded and said, "Yes. That's the reason why I've always hoped Aaron would marry Suzy."
Reflecting on her past unwavering support for Suzy and her repeated disparagement of Nora, she felt remorse.
Seeing Nora distracted, Emma asked, "Nora, why are you asking about this suddenly?"
"Nothing, just asking casually." Nora lowered her head absentmindedly to eat.
Thinking of a possibility, her heart skipped a beat.
After a bone marrow transplanted, the blood type of the recipient might likely change to that of the donor.
So, Aaron's current blood type might be different from the original one.
Aaron might have been the man from four years ago!
After all, he looked so much like her kids!
But what was the deal with him and Sunny? Was Sunny possibly lying, or was she overthinking?
Regardless, Nora felt it necessary to redo the genetic comparison.
This time, she would not use blood samples for comparison but something else, like saliva, hair, or other things.
With that in mind, Nora set down her utensils, saying, "Mom, I'm full; I'm going upstairs to check on Howard."
She was eager to confirm her thoughts.
"What are you going to see him for? Let him starve," Emma said displeased.
Nora smiled, knowing her mother's biggest characteristic was being harsh with words but soft-hearted, so she ignored her words and hurried upstairs.
At that moment, Howard walked out of the room.
"Howard, are you going downstairs to eat?" Nora asked.
"I'm not eating; I'm going out for a bit," Howard said.
"Where are you going?"
"To find Evella."
A friend had just sent him a photo. It was a picture of Richard and Evella going to a restaurant together.
Richard took Evella out for dinner!
He had to find Evella right away!
"Drive slowly," Nora reminded, not paying attention to Howard, and went to the bathroom to find Aaron's toothbrush.
However, when she picked up the toothbrush on the washstand, she was dumbfounded because it was brand new.
The servant had just replaced the old toothbrush today.
Nora then picked up a comb nearby. There were indeed a few strands of hair on the comb. But she couldn't tell if they were her hair or Aaron's.
Thinking about Aaron's toothbrush in the mansion, she called the maid responsible for cleaning the mansion. "Can I ask if Mr. Gordon's toothbrush was replaced today?"
The maid said, "Ms. Smith, Mr. Gordon said he would be away on a business trip for a week, so I replaced the toothbrush while cleaning."
Nora rubbed her temples. Aaron was a clean freak who always wanted a new toothbrush when he returned from a trip.
This result was within her expectations.
Her impatient mood gradually calmed down. She wasn't in a hurry.
When Aaron returned, she could do a genetic comparison secretly.
Outside, Howard started the car and headed to the restaurant.
Inside the restaurant, Richard and Evella had almost finished eating.
Richard was about to pay the bill when Howard walked in.
Richard paused as he stood up and then sat back down, asking, "Why are you here?"
Howard glanced at him and said, "I'm Evella's boyfriend; I'm here to pick up my girlfriend."
At his words, Richard raised an eyebrow and said, "Dr. Hamilton, you and Evella are just pretending to be a couple. I declare that your relationship ends here."
What! Richard actually knew about this!
Howard looked at Evella and asked, "You even told him about this.?"
