Chapter 1051 Will Childhood Sweethearts Get Married

Samantha pinched Linnea's cheeks. "Linnea, don't dodge. Seb was clearly talking about Skyler. Show us a picture of this Skyler who misses you."

With no one backing her up, Linnea pouted. "That's my business. You can't interfere. I'm done talking. I'm going to find Grandma!"

Linnea spun around and walked off quickly. Seb frowned, watching her leave, lips pressed tight.

Nora sighed. Linnea had always been a handful, even more so now that she was older and sharper.

Nora turned to Seb. "Seb, keep an eye on Linnea at school. Don't let her get into trouble."

"I will," Seb replied seriously.

"Alright, you all go have fun," Aaron said.

The young folks left as told.

The two couples watched them go, feeling a bit nostalgic.

Jenny said, "The kids have grown up so fast. Nora, Aaron, you'll be grandparents soon!"

Aaron and Nora exchanged a look. They still felt young, hard to believe they were entering a new phase of life.

"Do we look like grandparents?" Aaron joked.

Edric laughed. "If you two carried a baby now, people would think it's yours."

Aaron grinned. "I like that."

Everyone laughed.

Seeing Alex getting food for Erin, Jenny asked, "Are Alex and Erin getting married soon?"

Nora said, "Not yet. Maybe in a few years, once Alex is of age."

Jenny nodded. "They've been close since childhood. Marriage is just a formality."

Nora agreed. Alex had been with the Jones Family since he was young and now ran the family business. Erin, who lost her parents young, had become more lively with Alex by her side. Their bond was strong.

"What about Billy and Millie? Will we be attending their wedding in a few years?" Jenny teased.

Nora smiled at Billy and Millie. "I can't say for sure."

Though Billy and Millie had a good relationship, Millie stayed in Hchilia for school. Different environments could change people. Childhood sweethearts didn't always end up together.

Nora hoped Billy and Millie would stay close. Millie had always been special to Billy.

"Yeah, the kids have grown and changed," Jenny sighed.

Edric, touching his chin, looked at Seb. "Aaron, think we could become in-laws?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow, following Edric's gaze to see Seb trailing Linnea from a distance.

"You want me to marry Linnea off to Seb?" Aaron asked.

Edric grinned. "Wouldn't you be happy about that?"

Aaron chuckled. "Sure, but do you think Nora and I can make that call?"

Nora nodded in agreement.

Edric said, "I think Seb really likes Linnea. We can't let it be one-sided, right?"

Aaron shrugged. "Even if that's true, what can we do?"

Jenny chimed in, "Seb's still young. Why rush?"

Edric replied, "With the gender imbalance these days, it's rare Seb likes someone. Shouldn't we arrange his marriage quickly?"

Jenny felt a bit embarrassed. "Don't you know if I'm his real mom? Weren't you there when I gave birth to Seb?"

Edric raised his hands in surrender. "Yes, you're the real mom, I'm not the real dad, okay?"

Jenny rolled her eyes and asked Nora, "What about Samantha? She's nineteen now. Is she dating anyone?"

Nora found their banter amusing and took a sip of juice. "Samantha? Since she started college, she's been living on campus. I don't know if she's dating."

Jenny teased, "Are you her real mom?"

Nora raised an eyebrow. "Samantha is still young. What's the rush?"

Jenny was speechless. 'Could Nora stop mimicking me?'

Meanwhile, Alex was getting food for Erin, his eyes full of tenderness.

Samantha, holding a tray, put a piece of cake in her mouth, feeling a bit envious. "Alex is so good to Erin."

Millie, standing next to her, also eating cake, teased, "Feeling sentimental? Thinking about dating?"

Samantha's eyes flashed, half-jokingly, "Yes, why not?"

Millie was surprised Samantha didn't deny it.

Before Millie could say more, a man's voice came from behind. "Do you have someone you like? Who is it? What does he look like? Is he a student or someone from society?"

Both girls were startled. Samantha turned to see Billy staring at her intently.

Samantha patted her chest. "Billy, do you have to be so intense?"

Billy squinted. "Do you really have someone you like? Who is he? Is he in our social circle?"

Samantha's eyes flashed. Just then, Millie's phone rang, and she stepped aside to answer it.

Samantha quickly changed the subject. "Billy, worry about yourself. How are things with Millie?"

Billy frowned, annoyed. "You're too young to be thinking about dating."

Samantha smiled. "Billy, don't say I didn't warn you. Long-distance relationships are tricky."

Billy felt a bit panicked but said, "Nonsense, who's in a long-distance relationship?"

Samantha nodded, teasing, "True, you haven't officially confessed to Millie yet, so it doesn't count."
