Chapter 657 Waiting for Him to Show His True Colors

They walked out of the Lumirians and boarded the private plane of the Jones family.

Noe was drunk and had already fallen asleep.

Ronald and Frederick helped him into the lounge inside the cabin to rest.

Nora stood at the cabin door, looked back at the nearby mountains and villages, and sighed in relief.

It was not easy!

She could finally safely bring Aaron back home!

Although there were difficulties and dangers, her bond with Aaron grew stronger precisely because of these.

Nora smiled faintly and averted her gaze.

Seeing Seraphina standing somewhat awkwardly in the cabin, she smiled gently. "Seraphina, we're about to take off; please have a seat."

The cabin of the private plane was like a small suite. It was equipped with everything.

It was Seraphina's first time on a plane, and she was nervous, excited, and curious.

She nodded, found a seat, and looked around at the facilities, filled with admiration.

It was always good to step out of the mountains and see the world outside.

The outside world was truly fascinating!

The plane took off and gradually stabilized in the air.

Seraphina sat in her seat, holding onto the armrest tightly.

She felt a bit uncomfortable at first but gradually returned to normal.

As she looked at the fluffy white clouds outside, her eyes were full of wonder.

"Seraphina, what would you like to drink?" Nora asked as she prepared to have some drinks.

"Anything is fine," Seraphina replied.

Nora poured her a glass of juice from the fridge.

Seraphina took a sip, her eyes bright.

It was delicious!

It tasted different from the corn juice and tea of Lumirians.

"Seraphina, you're drinking orange juice. There are other beverages in the fridge. If you want, try them and see which one you prefer," Nora said with a smile.

"Thank you, this one is fine," Seraphina quickly responded.

Nora smiled and poured drinks for everyone.

Watching Seraphina enjoy her juice, she asked, "Seraphina, where do you plan to go?"

Seraphina paused in her sipping and glanced at Nora, asking tentatively, "Dr. Smith, can I follow you?"

Nora replied, "Of course. What I mean is, if you have a destination in mind, we'll take you there. If you don't have a destination, you can come with us."

Shaking her head, Seraphina said, "I don't have a destination; I'll go with you."

Nora nodded and looked at Aaron, her expression turning serious. She asked, "Aaron, what should we do next? Are you going back to the Lindwood City directly?"

After safely bringing Aaron out, they needed to consider dealing with the impostor.

Should they expose him now or make other arrangements?

Aaron pondered for a moment, a cold smile playing on his lips. He said, "No, I'm not going back to the Lindwood City for now. Exposing him right away is too bland. The impostor will continue to impersonate me, and there will definitely be big moves next. I'll wait for him to show his true colors."

Nora nodded in agreement.

After some thought, she suggested, "Why don't you stay with the Jones family temporarily?"

Aaron glanced at Alex and Erin and said, "That's fine; I'll temporarily stay with the Jones family."

He also needed to visit Matthew at the Jones family.

"After you went to the Jones family, I'll have to go back home," Nora said.

Having been absent for a night, the Hamilton family must be worried.

She also didn't know if the impostor had tried to contact her.

If he had, she needed to come up with a good excuse.

But considering the impostor probably had a lot of distractions around him, he probably wouldn't mind if she didn't contact him for a day.

"Are you going back alone?" Aaron furrowed his brows, feeling somewhat worried.

Nora replied, "Yes, I'll go back alone."

"I'm worried," Aaron said.

Nora looked at him. "What's there to worry about?"

Furrowing his brows, Aaron said, "I'm afraid he might do something to you."

Nora chuckled, "Don't worry, I'm not that naive."

Aaron's brows furrowed even more, still not reassured.

Nora reached out to smooth the wrinkles between his brows, saying, "Alright, stop frowning all the time like an old man. Frederick is here to protect me, so rest assured."

After a moment of silence, he reached out and took Nora's hand, holding it in his large palm.

"After you get back, you must report to me three times a day."

"Yes!"

"Don't let him get close to you."

"Okay," Nora chuckled, knowing he was worried about her, so she patiently reassured Aaron.

Listening to the conversation between the two, Seraphina couldn't fully understand, but she could feel the strong affection between them.

It was enviable.

An hour later, the plane landed safely.

Noe was still asleep in the lounge.

Nora couldn't help but say to Seraphina, "Seraphina, the wine you have there really packs a punch."

Seraphina said with a smile, "I'll help him sober up."

Nora blinked and asked, "How do you plan to help him sober up?"

"Do you have a basin?" Seraphina asked.

Nora was taken aback and asked, "Seraphina, aren't you planning to rudely splash Noe with a basin of ice water to wake him up?"

Seraphina laughed. "Splashing ice water on him would be too cruel; I wouldn't do that."

Nora found a basin for her and said with a smile, "That's right, you're so gentle, you wouldn't do that to him."

Seraphina smiled shyly, poured some cold water into the basin, then took out a small bottle from her bag and poured some powder into it.

Soon, the powder dissolved in the water.

A peculiar smell wafted through the cabin.

Nora, being the closest, wrinkled her nose slightly.

The smell was a bit strange, and she couldn't help but sneeze.

Rubbing her nose, she asked, "Seraphina, what did you add to the water?"

"It's a homemade powder that helps refresh the mind," Seraphina replied.

She then found a cloth, soaked it in the water, wrung it out, and went to the lounge to wash Noe's face while he was still asleep.

Whether it was the coolness of the water or the unique scent, it stirred Noe.

He sneezed a few times in a row and slowly woke up.

"Are you awake?" Seraphina smiled.

Just roused from sleep, Noe's thoughts were still somewhat disoriented. He slowly sat up from the bed and looked around. Upon seeing himself in bed, he immediately hugged his chest.

"Where am I? Seraphina, you didn't take advantage of me while I was asleep, did you?"

At his words, a hint of hurt flashed in Seraphina's eyes. She lowered her gaze slightly and said, "Rest assured, I know you have no intention of marrying me; I would never offend you."

With that, she turned and left the lounge.

Watching Seraphina's back, Noe was stunned for a moment before realizing where he was.

It seemed like he had overreacted just now!

But what did Seraphina say?

Offend him? How did she make him feel like a woman?

Noe lowered his gaze, quickly moved his hands away from his chest, cleared his throat, stood up, and walked outside.

The others had already packed up and were waiting for him.

Noe glanced at Seraphina, who was looking down, not sure what she was thinking.

Still feeling a bit dizzy, he smiled at Aaron and asked, "Mr. Gordon, have we arrived home?"
