Chapter 510 Intentional Abortion
After Sandy returned home, she felt a sudden pain in her lower abdomen. Her face turned ashen as she held her stomach.
Josie, who was taking care of her, was stunned and inquired, "Mrs. Hamilton, what's wrong? You look terrible."
Sandy forced a smile and replied, "I'm fine. I'll go upstairs and rest for a while."
"All right, just let me know if you need anything," Josie said, her face full of concern as she helped Sandy upstairs.
Once in the bedroom, Sandy changed into her pajamas and lay down, trying to calm her racing heart.
When the pain subsided a bit, she picked up her phone to call Kenneth, but it was switched off. She sent him a message instead,
Sandy: [Kenneth, I've been set up. Please believe me! I'm not feeling well. Our baby and I are waiting for you at home. Please come back soon.]
After sending the message, she put down her phone and closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face.
She muttered, "Honey, can you trust me once? I never betrayed you! I've loved you deeply. How could I betray you?"
Sandy lay in bed, waiting for Kenneth to come back, but she couldn't shake off her anxiety.
She wanted to call Kenneth again, but her phone rang. It was Howard’s call.
Sandy steadied herself and answered, "Hello?"
"Sandy, where are you?" he asked.
"I'm at home," she replied.
"Kenneth had an accident. Please come to the hospital!" he informed.
"What?!" Sandy exclaimed in shock.
Kenneth had an accident! Sandy quickly got up from the bed and asked, "When did this happen?"
"Just now. He's already in the operating room," Howard said.
Just now! Does that mean he had the accident right after they separated? Was it because of her? Sandy's face turned pale.
After hanging up, she got out of bed, but in her panic, she tripped and fell to the ground.
Feeling a sharp pain in her abdomen, she struggled to get up, but she couldn't.
There seemed to be a warm flow under her. Sandy screamed in horror as she watched the blood slowly flow from her legs.
She exclaimed, "Josie, Josie!"
"Mrs. Hamilton, what's wrong?" Josie, who was worried about Sandy, hadn't gone far. When she heard Sandy's cry, she rushed into the bedroom and asked.
"Josie, save my baby! Please take me to the hospital!" Sandy's voice trembled, and tears filled her eyes.
Josie saw the blood on Sandy's legs and yelled, "Mrs. Hamilton, wait here. I'll go call the driver."
Sandy, whose first reaction was to find Nora, dialed Nora's number.
Does Nora know what happened to Kenneth? Is she already preparing in the operating room? Did she go to save him?
Nora answered the call quickly, and greeted, "Sandy."
"Nora, where are you?" Sandy asked urgently.
She added, "I got a call from Howard, who said Kenneth had had an accident. I'm just leaving now, on my way to the hospital."
She hasn't arrived at the operating room yet! But Sandy's stomach was in excruciating pain.
She choked, and informed, "Nora, I fell, and my stomach hurts. What should I do?!"
"What!" Nora was shocked, and she quickly said, "Sandy, calm down. Tell me, is there anyone with you right now?"
"Josie is at home," Sandy choked.
"Okay, take a deep breath. Do as I say," Nora said and taught her a few first-aid measures, and Sandy followed them all.
Soon, Josie and the driver came upstairs. They carefully helped her downstairs and prepared to take her to the hospital.
On the way, Nora kept talking to Sandy until they arrived at the hospital.
Nora reassured, "Sandy, don't worry. I'll arrange the best gynecologist to save your baby."
"Okay." Sandy choked and pleaded, "Nora, you must save Kenneth."
"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to him," Nora said.
"I believe you," Sandy nodded vigorously and assured.
He's a lucky guy, and he'll be fine!
Her stomach was cramped again. Suddenly, everything went black for Sandy, who couldn't hold on any longer, so she passed out.
In a daze, she heard Josie's voice, feeling the doctor lifting her out of the car.
After Nora had finished talking to Sandy, she quickly called Howard, who had been told about Sandy's situation, and asked to find the best gynecologist in the hospital to save the baby.
Howard frowned tightly as he heard the news. He asked, "Sandy is also in trouble?"
"Yes. I'll be at the hospital shortly. You need to arrange it quickly," Nora replied.
"Okay," he replied.
At the entrance of the emergency department, Howard said to Ebenezer, "Dad, Sandy fell at home. Now, she has been sent to the hospital. I'll go and make arrangements first."
Ebenezer frowned. At this moment, he looked even more worried. Suzy, who was on the side, looked at Ayden standing aside. There was joy on her face.
She said, "She fell? Dad, I think she did it on purpose. Maybe the child is not Kenneth's at all. Kenneth exposed her affair with Zephyr. Then she was afraid that Kenneth would find out that the child was not his, so she deliberately fell, trying to have a miscarriage, right?"
Ebenezer's brow furrowed even tighter when he heard this, saying, "Don't talk nonsense. We'll find out the truth after Kenneth wakes up."
Suzy continued, "Dad, don't scold me. Kenneth had an accident because of Cora. Didn't you hear what Ayden said? Kenneth left angrily because he caught Cora and Zephyr's affair. This led to his accident. If Kenneth has any sequelae, it's all because of Cora!"
Suzy added, "Dad, Cora brought bad luck to the Hernandez family before, and now she has brought misfortune to our family. Next, is it your turn, Dad?"
"You shut up! Don't stir up trouble here; you go and accompany your mom!" Ebenezer shouted, and he was very annoyed when he heard her words, so he scolded her in a deep voice.
Suzy, seeing him angry, pursed her lips and swallowed the rest of her words, informing, "Then, I'll go."
Ebenezer suppressed his emotions and warned, "Remember, don't tell your mom that Kenneth had an accident so as not to stimulate her."
"I got it," Suzy promised and walked away, feeling triumphant.
She never expected that with just a little scheming, the Hamilton family would be in such big trouble. It's better this way. Now, she has more reason to divorce the Jinx and Kenneth.
"Dad," Nora greeted; she changed into a white coat and was coming quickly.
"Nora, you must save Kenneth," Ebenezer said hurriedly.
His wife and son had consecutive accidents, and he seemed to have aged him a lot. When he saw Nora here, he thought of her superb medical skills, so he felt a little relieved.
"Don't worry, I'll do my best," Nora reassured him. Then, she quickly entered the operating room.
Ebenezer stood still for a moment and then sat on the bench.
He saw that Ayden was still here and asked, with a slight frown, "Ayden, did you really see Sandy and Zephyr together?"
