In the courtyard, Aaron paused, looking towards the voice. At night, Nora was wearing a red dress, her shiny black hair cascading over her shoulders and dancing in the wind.
The faint light emanating from the house illuminated her charming and radiant smile.
Aaron's heart softened in an instant, a smile unconsciously tugging at the corner of his lips.
He then raised his hand, beckoning Nora to come down. "Come down."
Nora's petite figure leaned against the railing without moving. "Why should I come down?"
"To have an affair with me!"
Nora was speechless.
Seeing her silent, Aaron raised an eyebrow playfully.
"What, scared? Don't worry, my wife is away, and we can have sex as we want tonight!"
Nora remained silent. She was just a moment of playful banter with Aaron, and he really played along!
She shot Aaron a glance, adjusted her hair, and then turned her gaze away, ignoring him and looking at the moon.
Aaron smiled, lips curling, as he entered the villa and quickly ascended to the third floor.
On the terrace, Nora lazily leaned against the railing, watching him. Aaron strode up to her, his long arms reaching out to pull her into his embrace. He then leaned down to kiss her.
"Darling, your sweetheart is here."
Nora was immune to Aaron's antics. She was about to speak when her phone rang. It was Jack calling. He must have contacted Brandon.
Nora's eyes lit up, wanting to answer. Unexpectedly, Aaron swiftly snatched the phone from her hand.
Nora was stunned, looking at Aaron. "Stop messing around. Give me back my phone."
Aaron pursed his lips lightly, holding the phone up. His other hand restrained Nora's slender waist, preventing her from moving, and then he answered the call for her.
"Hello?"
Upon hearing Aaron's voice, Jack hesitated. "Mr. Gordon?"
"It's me," Aaron replied casually.
"I'm looking for Nora," Jack said.
Aaron glanced at Nora in his arms, furrowing his brows slightly, and said, "She's taking a shower. If you have something to say, tell me."
There was a moment of silence on the phone, and then Jack said, "Tell her that Doctor Brandon and I have made contact. She can call me back when she's available."
Aaron's eyes flickered. "Doctor Brandon?"
Nora couldn't help it. She pinched Aaron's arm and then took the phone back from him. "Jack, sorry. What did you just say? Say it again!"
Jack paused. "Nora, have you finished your shower?"
"Yes," Nora mumbled, her eyes glaring at Aaron. Aaron hugged her, looking calm. There was no hint of guilt in his eyes.
"I've contacted Doctor Brandon. He's been busy lately, attending an academic seminar in Achilia. I asked him, and he promised to make time to visit Lindwood City the day after tomorrow. I'll introduce you to him later, and you can contact him directly," Jack spoke gently.
Nora felt grateful. "Okay, thank you, Jack."
"It's nothing. When will you be back in Youston? Let's meet up again," Jack said.
"Okay."
"I'll hang up now."
"Good night."
After hanging up, Nora breathed a sigh of relief. Doctor Brandon was a renowned psychologist, especially skilled in hypnosis. If Joseph had been hypnotized, he could help.
Aaron held Nora closer to him. "Who is this doctor? Why did you ask Jack to contact him?"
Listening to Aaron's magnetic voice, Nora thought of his unreasonable behavior earlier and pulled away from his embrace.
"Aaron, I solemnly declare, if you interfere with my private life like this again, I will..."
Aaron interrupted, "What will you do?"
"I won't talk to you!"
Nora turned to leave, but Aaron quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her back into his arms.
"Are you angry?"
"I was discussing important matters with my brother. What if your jealousy disrupted our discussion?" Nora retorted.
Aaron kissed her smooth cheek. "Sorry, it was my mistake. I shouldn't have been jealous, but when I think that Jack once pursued you, I couldn't help it."
Although Aaron apologized verbally, there was no hint of remorse on his face.
Nora was speechless. "He's already engaged to Sue."
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "I didn't know."
Even so, Jack could be considered his half-rival.
Nora was Jack's unrequited love, so when Jack called late at night, Aaron naturally had to be cautious!
However, Aaron didn't voice these thoughts to avoid angering Nora. But if Jack called again, he would still act the same way.
At that moment, Nora received a message on her phone.
Jack had passed Brandon's contact information to her.
Nora replied to him and then added Brandon's contact details.
Brandon quickly responded to her message.
After exchanging pleasantries with Brandon, Nora relaxed and took a deep breath. Seeing Aaron watching her reply to messages, she put away her phone, turned, and walked away.
"I'm going to take a shower."
Seeing Nora's demeanor, Aaron knew she was still upset.
He didn't say anything, just smirked and followed Nora into the bedroom.
When Nora grabbed her change of clothes to enter the bathroom, Aaron naturally followed.
"Get out," Nora said irritably.
Of course, Aaron wouldn't listen to her.
He embraced Nora, pushed her against the wall, and pressed his tall figure against hers.
"Honey, don't be angry. I have already reflected deeply on it."
Nora glared at him. "Really?"
Aaron's deep brown eyes gazed intently. "If you don't believe me, I'll prove it to you."
A passionate kiss landed on Nora's lips, enveloping her in Aaron's breath. Nora let out a soft moan and lightly tapped Aaron's sturdy chest with her hand.
Aaron resorted to this every time!
At the dinner table that night, Nora had resolved not to be swayed by Aaron's charm, not to let him succeed. But in reality, she was no match for Aaron!
Nora couldn't resist a single move from Aaron.
The cold wall behind her gradually warmed with their passion. Aaron lifted Nora and placed her on the washbasin.
In the mirror, Aaron looked composed, while Nora's clothes were half undone, revealing her fair and delicate skin, unknowingly alluring.
"Sweetheart, help me." Aaron whispered against Nora's beautiful collarbone, his voice husky.
Nora's fair neck tilted slightly, her thoughts drifting.
"Help you with what?"
