Chapter 623 To Offer Himself Body and Soul

The shock made Aaron forget his actions for a moment until the black-clad bodyguard raised the gun in his hand, and he reacted, quickly dodging aside.

The black-clad bodyguard fired several shots in a row, hitting Aaron with one shot, and finally, he jumped into the sea to escape.

At that time, the waves on the water were very strong, and he didn't know where he was being washed to.

He only knew that the endless sea water was about to suffocate him.

Before losing consciousness, he thought he was doomed!

A man who looked exactly like him appeared!

This man would definitely take his place, including his career and his family.

Nora probably couldn't tell the truth from the false man.

At this moment, was she being with the man who replaced him?

"Hey, I'm talking to you. Did you hear me at all, or are you mute?" A displeased female voice came from beside him.

Aaron came to his senses, his dazed gaze falling on Elara, who lightly pursed her thin lips.

"Did you save me?" His voice was hoarse and weak.

"So, you can hear; you're not mute, and your voice is quite pleasant," Elara snorted lightly, her slender index finger teasingly lifting Aaron's chin.

"Yes, I'm Elara, and the one just now was my sister Seraphina; we both saved you. I understand medicine; if it weren't for me, you would have met God already. How do you plan to repay this favor?" Elara spoke casually and unreasonably.

Aaron furrowed his brows slightly, pulling Elara's hand away and struggling to sit up.

A sharp pain spread across his chest, and he faintly lowered his gaze to find that he wasn't wearing a shirt on his upper body but was wrapped in white gauze on his chest.

Aaron glanced around and saw his shirt neatly folded by the bed, so he picked it up and put it on.

"Where is this?" It didn't look like Houston.

The architectural structure had a touch of ethnic flavor.

"Of course, this is my home!" Elara said, displeased, "You still haven't answered me; how do you plan to repay me?"

Aaron buttoned up his shirt and looked at her, saying, "I can give you money. Do you have a phone? I want to call my family and have them send money over."

Upon hearing this, Elara scoffed lightly, "We have plenty of money in our family; I don't care for your money."

"Then how do you want me to repay you?" Aaron asked.

Elara smiled slyly. "If you want to repay me, of course, you should be my man."

He should offer himself body and soul.

Aaron looked steadily at Elara, trying to discern whether what she said was true or false.

The atmosphere was somewhat tense.

Just then, Seraphina, who had just gone to the kitchen to fetch food, came in.

"Elara, he just woke up. Let him take it easy; don't scare him," Seraphina said.

Upon hearing this, Elara pursed her lips and looked Aaron up and down.

"He looks big and tall; he shouldn't be scared easily," Seraphina said, "He hasn't eaten for three days; he must be very hungry; let him eat something first."

Elara glanced at Aaron and then reached out to pinch his face, saying, "You'd better get better soon; I'm waiting to marry you."

Aaron's face darkened, his brows furrowed.

In all his years, he had never been so unreasonably teased by a woman.

After Elara left, he looked at Seraphina, who had the same face.

He asked, "Where exactly is this place?"

Seraphina picked up the bowl of porridge and blew on it, explaining patiently, "This is Lumirians. Elara saved you, so you need to enter our family's door and bear children with Elara."

Aaron furrowed his brows; he had heard of this ethnic minority.

Women held higher status here than men.

So, if a man was chosen by a woman, he would marry into her family and become a live-in son-in-law.

"I have a girlfriend. Do you have a phone? I want to call her," Aaron said.

Upon hearing this, Seraphina's gaze flickered slightly.

She said, "You can finish your soup first."

Aaron really did have a girlfriend.

Elara probably didn't want him to contact his girlfriend.

Seraphina held the bowl of soup to feed Aaron.

Aaron glanced at her, took the bowl, and stirred it with a spoon, asking, "How many days have I been asleep?"

Seraphina said, "You've been asleep for three days."

Three days!

The man who looked exactly like him must have taken his place by now!

Who was that man, and what did he want?

Aaron drank the soup, his mind racing.

In fact, he didn't need to think to know that this man who came from nowhere must have malicious intentions.

He must want to take over his career, his family, and his woman.

At the thought of Nora, who had probably mistaken that man for him by now, he felt a surge of anxiety emerging in his heart.

Maybe the two of them had even made love, and Aaron was burning with impatience.

Aaron quickly finished eating and handed the bowl to Seraphina, saying, "I'm done. Can you lend me your phone now?"

Seraphina lowered her gaze slightly, saying, "This place is quite remote; the signal is weak, and it's only available on higher ground."

Upon hearing this, Aaron didn't say a word; he just lifted the blanket and got out of bed.

But the wound on his body made him unable to help but clutch his chest, and his head spun even more.

Seraphina supported him quickly and said, "Don't move around; lie back down. You were shot, and that shot almost hit your heart. If it had been a bit off, you would have been dead. Elara and I worked hard to save you; you need to rest well."

Aaron steadied his mind. "I want to call my girlfriend."

Seraphina said, "Okay, when you can get out of bed, I'll accompany you outside to call your girlfriend, alright?"

"No, I want to go now!" He couldn't wait a moment longer!

Aaron pushed Seraphina away and strode towards the door.

"Don't go!" Seraphina didn't expect Aaron to be so stubborn.

And despite looking weak, he still had so much strength.

She was pushed by him and almost stumbled.

After she steadied herself and caught up, Aaron had already opened the door.

However, Elara was standing at the door, looking at him, her lips curved in a cold smile
"Where are you going?" she asked.

Aaron said in a deep voice, "I want to call my girlfriend; I want to leave here."

"Do you want to leave here?" Elara narrowed her eyes.

"Yes," Aaron said.

Elara nodded. "Alright, but not now."

Aaron looked at her and asked, "Why not now?"

"Because you haven't married me yet," Elara said.

Aaron pulled a long face, pushing her aside and saying, "I said I have a girlfriend. Please move aside!"

Elara's face turned completely cold, and she took out a silver needle, stabbing it at his neck acupoint.

Aaron's body stiffened, feeling a sudden pain; his vision darkened, and he slowly fell down.

Seraphina crouched down quickly to check his breathing.

Fortunately, Aaron had only fainted.

She looked at Elara, saying, "Elara, he said he has a girlfriend, it's not good to force him to stay."

Elara crossed her arms and sneered, "What's wrong with that? We saved his life; if it weren't for us, he would be dead. He should show gratitude. Besides, I didn't ask him to do anything, just to give me a sperm; that's not too much."
