Chapter 859 Do Her a Favor
Noe shivered and woke up.
"No need; thank you for your concern, Mr. Gordon."
Aaron smirked and said, "Do you want to wash your face to wake up a bit?"
"I'm very awake; go ahead," Noe said respectfully.
Aaron got to the point. "Let me ask you, how are things progressing with Seraphina?"
Noe was taken aback and coughed lightly. "There's no progress between us."
Aaron raised an eyebrow and said, "Really? Looks like you're planning to stay single forever?"
Noe replied, "Mr. Gordon, my destined one hasn't arrived yet. Look, you just got married; I'm still young and want to serve you for another two years."
It was a very official response.
Aaron played with Nora's little hand and said casually, "Alright, keep working for Alex. As for Seraphina, I'm planning to transfer her to Hchilia."
Noe was stunned and raised his voice a bit. "You want to transfer Seraphina to Hchilia; why?"
Aaron raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why are you so loud? Are you reluctant to see her go?"
Noe was at a loss for words, stammering and unable to continue; Aaron smirked.
It seemed like there was something between Noe and Seraphina.
"Mr. Gordon, why exactly do you want to transfer Seraphina to Hchilia?" Noe changed his tone and continued to ask.
"I have my plans."
Aaron said, "Nora wants to teach her medical skills."
Noe was stunned again. "But why teach Seraphina medical skills in Hchilia?"
"Because there's a patient here who needs a skilled doctor to stay locally for a year or two for treatment, so Seraphina needs to stay here for a year or two."
Aaron didn't hide anything. "Of course, I haven't asked Seraphina's opinion yet. But I think she's a studious person and should agree."
Hearing this, Noe said, "She is very studious. If she knows she can learn Dr. Smith's medical skills, she'll be very happy."
Aaron raised an eyebrow and said deliberately, "You seem to know her quite well."
Noe laughed awkwardly and didn't refute.
Aaron said, "Now Nora and I have two plans. One, transfer Seraphina alone. Two, transfer both of you together."
"I'm thinking, if you have no feelings for Seraphina, then I won't transfer you. But Nora said if Seraphina is here alone, she'll be too lonely. Nora hopes I can transfer someone else to accompany her. I'm thinking, if you're not willing to come, then I'll send Johnnie over."
Aaron said this deliberately to see Noe's reaction.
Noe quickly said, "I didn't say I'm not willing."
Aaron smirked and asked, "Are you willing to come to Hchilia?"
"I'm willing."
"But it'll take a year or two here; I'm afraid it'll delay you finding a girlfriend."
"No big deal, I'm willing to do her a favor."
Aaron laughed and said, "Don't be so condescending. When Seraphina becomes a great doctor, she might not even look at you."
"Noe, I advise you to secure her early. Just like I did with Nora. if I hadn't secured her early, there would be a lot of people competing with me now."
Noe flattered, "Alright, Mr. Gordon. You're experienced and my leader. I'll follow your advice."
Aaron chuckled. "Alright then, it's decided. Have Seraphina call me back later."
"Okay."
After hanging up, Aaron saw Nora laughing and put his arm around her shoulder. "Nora, your skills have a successor now."
Nora was delighted and said, "Aaron, should we prepare a gift?"
Aaron nodded. "That's a good idea."
Not long after, Seraphina called.
Aaron answered and put it on speaker.
"Hello?"
"Mr. Gordon, Noe said you want to transfer me to Hchilia to learn from Dr. Smith. Is that true?"
Seraphina's tone was a bit excited.
Aaron said, "Yes, are you willing?"
Seraphina said, "I'm willing, very willing. When can I come to Hchilia? Can I leave today?"
Aaron glanced at Nora, who couldn't help but laugh.
"Seraphina, are you in such a hurry to come to Hchilia?"
"Dr. Smith, I am in a hurry, afraid you'll find someone better to learn from you."
Seraphina's tone was a bit embarrassed.
Nora said, "No, no one is better than you."
"Dr. Smith, don't praise me; I'll get proud."
"No problem, you have the right to be proud."
Seraphina laughed and asked, "So when should I come?"
Nora looked at Aaron, waiting for him to decide.
Aaron said, "You and Noe decide. Once you've arranged everything there, you can come together."
Seraphina hesitated for a moment and said, "Mr. Gordon, is Noe coming too? If he comes, there'll be no one to take care of things with Alex."
Aaron raised an eyebrow and said deliberately, "You don't want him to come to Hchilia with you?"
Seraphina said, "Not really, it's just that I'm coming to learn medicine; what's Noe coming for?"
Before Aaron could speak, Noe's voice came through the phone.
"Seraphina, Seems you don't want me to go to Hchilia with you."
Seraphina explained, "That's not true; I just think you won't have much to do in Hchilia."
Noe added, "There are also business projects of the Gordon group there; I can go inspect them. Or are you saying you don't want me to come because you're afraid I'll get in the way of you finding a boyfriend?"
Seraphina said, "What are you talking about? I'm just worried that without your help, Alex will lose a lot of support."
Noe asked, "Really, am I that important?"
Seraphina replied, "Of course; otherwise, why would Mr. Gordon have you stay by Alex's side to assist him?"
Noe didn't respond, clearly pleased.
Aaron and Nora exchanged a knowing smile.
They both realized that Noe probably had feelings for Seraphina now and was afraid she didn't care about him anymore!
"Alright, Alex is smart; you don't need to worry about him. You both come over. Once things are solved, you'll go back."
Aaron made the final decision.
Seraphina and Noe responded in unison, "Okay."
After hanging up, Nora couldn't stop laughing. "They're so interesting."
Watching others fall in love was quite interesting.
Aaron affectionately tapped her nose, "Honey, it seems that you have facilitated another pairing."
Nora's eyes curved with a smile, saying, "Yes, it's a great merit."
Aaron pulled her onto his lap and kissed the corner of her lips.
"Honey, should we give Alex a little brother or sister next? That would be the greatest merit."
Nora gave him a sidelong glance. "The greatest merit? Are you treating me as a baby-making machine?"
"Of course not!"
Aaron quickly denied, "I just think our genes are so good, which shouldn't be wasted. Of course, if you don't want to, I'll definitely listen to you. Honestly, I don't want you to go through pregnancy and childbirth again."
Nora's eyes sparkled, asking, "Why?"
