Chapter 556 Addicted to Her
Emma was amused and began to tease Billy on purpose.
Emma teased, "Billy, your little bride doesn't like you anymore. Be careful, she might marry someone else."
Billy blushed at those words. He remarked, "Grandmom, I'm their brother!"
Emma laughed, "Who said a brother has to keep a stern face all the time? Aren't you afraid of scaring your sisters to tears?"
Samantha and Millie nodded vigorously in agreement.
Billy said, "They're too naughty. I can't keep them in line."
With Alex around before, he only had to be an obedient younger brother. Now that Alex was gone, he had to take on the responsibility of keeping his sisters in check. Because everyone spoiled them too much. If he didn't manage them, they would be very naughty!
"Billy, why do you want to keep us in line?" Millie asked.
Billy said, "I'm your brother now."
Samantha retorted, "No, you're a fake!"
Millie echoed, "Yes, you're fake!"
Listening to their bickering, Nora couldn't help but laugh, feeling her mood lighten. She occasionally chatted with them until Adelbert and Jacob came to take the three children to bed, ending the call.
Since she moved back to the Hamilton Manor, Jacob had been furious when he returned to Lindwood City and didn't see the three children, nearly falling ill.
Upon learning this, Adelbert invited him to stay at the Hamilton Manor for a while. Although Jacob verbally expressed reluctance, he eagerly moved in the next day. Now, they took care of the children every day and lived happily.
Nora said goodnight to Emma and returned to her bedroom. After washing up and getting into bed, she saw a message on her phone. It was from Aaron. He had sent a picture of himself half-naked. Was he trying to seduce her?
Nora couldn't help but laugh. She looked at Aaron's sexy body and then deliberately sent a message back.
Nora: [Pervert! I'm going to remove you from my contacts.]
Soon, Aaron replied.
Aaron: [Would you really?]
Nora: [Of course.]
Aaron sent a sad emoji. Then he sent another message
Aaron: [Come down.]
Nora: [Why?]
Aaron: [I'm lonely.]
Nora: [I don't think so!]
Aaron: [Will you come down, or should I come up?]
Nora: [Aren't you afraid my mom will see you and kick you out?]
Aaron: [Then you better come down.]
Nora: [Why?]
Aaron: [At least I won't get kicked out that way.]
Nora couldn't help but laugh out loud. She quickly covered her eyes to avoid getting more wrinkles. Aaron sent another message.
Aaron: [Are you coming down or not? I'll give you five minutes. If you don't come down by then, I'll come up.]
He suddenly became domineering. Nora grumbled inwardly.
For the sake of family harmony, she left her bedroom in the fourth minute, quietly walking to Aaron's room on the second floor.
She opened the door and saw Aaron sitting at the bedside working.
Nora glared at him and said, "Aren't you working? Why did you insist I come down?"
Aaron laughed. He put the computer aside, lifted the quilt, got out of bed, and walked over to Nora, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Aaron said, "I only started working because you weren't by my side. Otherwise, I would be thinking about you all the time."
Nora laughed and said, "Is it that exaggerated?"
"Very exaggerated," Aaron said in a low voice. His voice was very pleasant. He lowered his head and kissed her lips.
Nora hummed softly and moved away, saying, "In the end, you just want to make love to me."
Aaron held her tighter and said affectionately, "Nora, if you're addicted to something, wouldn't you think about it all the time?"
Did he mean he was addicted to her?
Nora poked his firm chest with her finger and said, "You're so perverted."
Aaron chuckled softly, kissed her lips again, saying, "Yes, you're right. I can't stop thinking about you. I just want to study you."
His scent was still pleasant and alluring.
Nora blurted out, "You mean study my body, right?"
Aaron was stunned, then laughed out loud, "You're so smart!"
Nora realized what she had said and felt very embarrassed, closing her eyes and saying nothing.
Aaron picked her up and placed her on the bed.
He said, "Come on! Let's study each other's bodies."
Nora's face turned even redder, and she opened her eyes to glare at him, and said, "I don't want to."
Aaron teased, "But I want you to study me."
Nora scolded, "Get lost!"
He replied, "Okay, let's get lost together!"
Aaron leaned down, his fingers skillfully undoing her nightgown.
The next day, at the seaside village.
Worried about Juliet, Sandy went to her house after a simple breakfast. Juliet got out of bed to open the door for her. She had just finished feeding Daisy, who was now sleeping soundly. Landon was still not up.
"Juliet, how are you feeling?" Sandy asked softly.
"I'm fine." Juliet smiled and said, "Thanks to the soup Dr. Wright brought yesterday, I had breast milk in the middle of the night. Daisy drank it and didn't fuss anymore."
Sandy nodded and said, "That's good."
She went into the room to check on Daisy and found everything normal. After the check-up, she turned around and saw Juliet not resting but preparing to wash Daisy's clothes.
Sandy quickly stopped her, "Juliet, you just gave birth. Don't overexert yourself."
Juliet smiled helplessly, "Doctor Hernandez, if I don't do it, no one will."
Hearing this, Sandy frowned, "Go back to bed. I'll wash them."
Juliet was stunned, "These clothes are very dirty."
Sandy smiled, and assured her, "It's okay. I can wear gloves. And as a doctor, I've seen a lot of dirty things."
Juliet was hesitant, "But..."
"Enough, go back to bed," Sandy interrupted Juliet, helped her back to bed, and took the dirty clothes to the seaside to wash.
Fortunately, she grew up in the countryside and could do everything, so washing clothes was no challenge for her. Sandy put on gloves and started washing the clothes. The sun rose from the east, gradually illuminating the earth.
Not far away, Zephyr, who had just left Juliet's house to find Sandy, watched the woman in the sunlight. She was still the gentle and kind person he remembered.
