Chapter 606 Is It Fake?
Nora was exhausted both physically and mentally today. She finally calmed down a bit.
After eating something, she and Emma stayed in Kenneth's room for a while to see if any miracles would happen.
Unfortunately, Kenneth's fingers didn't move again.
"Nora, it's getting late, go rest early," Emma said.
Nora thought for a moment and said, "Mom, I'll sleep at Aaron's place tonight."
She was afraid that if Aaron had a headache or fever, she could take care of him by his side.

Nora returned to Aaron's villa and found that he had already fallen asleep.

He said, "Morning, darling."

Aaron's eyes flickered; he sat up from the bed and coughed.
"Maybe I caught a cold last night; plus, I just woke up; my throat feels a bit uncomfortable." Aaron's voice returned to normal.
Nora looked at him and said, "Then let me make you some hot cocoa."
Aaron smiled and reached out to hold her hand, saying, "Honey, you are so considerate."
Goosebumps rose on Nora's body again.
Usually, Aaron would joke with her and say some cheesy things. But she never found Aaron greasy or frivolous.
For some reason, now, when Aaron said cheesy things, she would get goosebumps.
Nora quickly got up and said, "I'll go downstairs first; you get up and freshen up."
Watching Nora leave, the smile on Aaron's face faded slightly. He pulled back the covers and went to the bathroom, standing in front of the sink and carefully examining his face in the mirror.
The swelling on his face had subsided; Aaron raised his hand to touch it, a hint of light flashing in his eyes.
He cleared his throat and said to the mirror, "I am Aaron."
His voice remained as calm and aloof as ever.
He smirked and started to freshen up.
In the kitchen downstairs, Betty had already prepared breakfast.
Nora glanced at the coffee machine and said, "Betty, Mr. Gordon won't drink coffee today; he'll have milk instead."
Although the injuries weren't serious, it was better for him not to drink coffee after the accident.
"Okay," Betty responded promptly.
Nora started to make hot cocoa.
She felt a bloating sensation in her lower abdomen, touched it, and clicked her tongue.
During her period, besides feeling uncomfortable in her stomach, her taste buds also preferred strong-flavored foods.
So, when she saw the fast food made by the assistant chef placed nearby, she felt tempted and said, "Betty, I feel like having fast food today."
Seeing Nora eyeing the fast food, Betty asked, "Ms. Smith, do you want this?"
"Yes, can I have some?" Nora said.
"As long as you don't mind that I've already eaten some," Betty replied quickly.
"I don't mind," Nora said. She had eaten these things that wealthy people looked down on before.

Nora looked at him and said, "I've already made it; it's good to have some hot cocoa in the morning."
Aaron didn't say anything more and scanned around, asking, "Why is there no coffee?"
Nora pushed the milk towards him, "You'd better skip coffee today and have milk instead."
Aaron furrowed his brows again and said, "I don't want milk."
Nora thought for a moment and said, "Then how about having fast food like me?"
Aaron seemed displeased, saying, "Nora, I'm fine; get me a cup of coffee."
Seeing his displeased expression, Nora's eyes flickered.
When she first met Aaron, he seemed domineering, aloof, and temperamental.
Especially in terms of food, he was particularly picky and always wanted others to cater to his preferences.
If Nora insisted on going against his will, he would be unhappy.

Aaron raised his eyes, smiling ambiguously, saying, "Don't you know I might feel uncomfortable after eating this fast food?"
Nora had been on edge since she suggested Aaron have fast food with her.
She was afraid that Aaron would not feel uncomfortable after eating fast food.

He would feel uncomfortable eating this! It meant he was the real Aaron, after all!
