Chapter 563 Liked Each Other
Evella suddenly laughed and said, "Nora, you just said my outfit today is very stylish."
Nora stared at her, asking, "Evella, are you intentionally dressing like this?"
Evella put her slender index finger to her lips, signaling Nora not to speak. "Don't say it out loud. Nora, you're too smart."
Nora raised her eyebrows lightly, saying, "Do you want the guy you're meeting to refuse you?"
Evella nodded. "Yeah, I think I'm halfway successful already."
"Not only will the guy I'm meeting not like me, but probably no one will want to meet me in the future, because my outfit today is too ugly, too embarrassing!" Evella said.
"Really? Where's your dating partner?" Nora asked.
"He's over there chatting with someone else." Evella nodded in another direction.
Nora looked over and saw three or four men in suits chatting.
They were dressed similarly, and she needed to find out which one was Kevin.
"We just met, and he said a few words to me and then walked away. I guess he's afraid that being seen with me would cost him his face," Evella said.
Nora chuckled, saying, "It seems he doesn't appreciate your inner beauty."
Evella pouted and said, "Men are very superficial."
"Indeed." Nora agreed with Evella, then glanced at Aaron.
Aaron, who had been listening to their conversation, raised his eyebrows and asked, "Am I superficial?"
Nora replied, "You are indeed superficial."
Aaron denied, "Of course, I'm not superficial. Nora, I like you no matter how you look."
Nora glanced at him and said, "You're quite the smooth talker."
Aaron said, "I'm honest."
Aaron replied smoothly, lifting his wrist to check his watch, asking, "Howard hasn't arrived yet?"
Nora looked around, saying, "He should be here soon."
Upon hearing Aaron's words, Evella became a bit nervous, asking, "Nora, is Howard coming too?"
Nora glanced at her, saying, "Yes, as soon as he heard you were meeting someone, he got anxious. He even halted his experiments, saying that he had to come over."
Evella frowned and said shyly, "Nora, you're teasing me again."
As she spoke, she looked down at her outfit.
Evella thought, 'My clothes are so outdated today. Howard will definitely find me repulsive.'
'But whatever he thinks, it has nothing to do with me!'
'After all, we are just casual friends.'
At this moment, more guests entered the room.
Archer and Gary walked in, along with Howard and others.
Aaron and Nora were close to the entrance to the banquet hall.
Aaron and Nora both looked very attractive, shining like stars when standing together.
So, as soon as they entered the banquet hall, they saw Nora and Aaron and walked over to them.
Evella saw Howard and hid behind Nora, not wanting Howard to see her current unattractive appearance.
Nora noticed Evella hiding behind her and asked playfully, "Evella, why are you hiding?"

Nora smiled and didn't expose her.
Archer and Gary approached.
"Mr. Gordon, Ms. Hamilton," Archer greeted Aaron and Nora.
Standing beside him was his fiancee, Harper.
They looked very compatible together.
It came to Nora that Aaron and she had played cupid for them, so she mischievously smiled and extended her hand.
"Archer, did you forget to bring a gift for the matchmaker?" Nora asked.
Archer laughed and said, "I heard Hamilton's Group has encountered some problems recently. As long as Ms. Hamilton needs me, I'm happy to help."
Nora thought Archer's commitment was a valuable gift!
She said with a smile, "Thank you, Archer!"
Archer glanced at Aaron and also smiled. "You and Mr. Gordon are matchmakers for me and Harper, so I should thank you."
"Yeah, Nora, shall we have dinner together another day?" Harper was also friendly and extended an invitation to Nora.
"Sure." Nora nodded happily.
"Dr. Hamilton, long time no see. You're getting more beautiful." Gary had been looking at Nora since he entered the banquet hall.
During the winter break, Archer had asked him to work overseas, and he had just returned recently.
Now, seeing Nora again, he was overwhelmed with a wave of surprise and a surge of affection.
Aaron squinted his eyes and took a step forward to block his view, his gaze cold.
Gary glanced at him with displeasure, saying, "Mr. Gordon, I'm not competing with you for Dr. Hamilton. You don't need to block me. Even if you can block me, you can't block others."
Because he had lost a bet to Aaron before, he had to keep his promise and not pursue Nora anymore.
But that didn't mean Gary couldn't make Aaron uncomfortable.
Nora was afraid Aaron might say something inappropriate and embarrass Gary, so she quickly took his arm and said, "Didn't Ms. Moore come with you?"
At Nora's question, Gary became somewhat angry, saying, "Dr. Hamilton, please don't make random pairings, okay? I don't intend to be with Luna."
Archer, standing beside him, looked at him and said, "You've slept with her. Aren't you going to take responsibility? Men of the Remington family are not playboys."
As Archer scolded him, Gary clenched his teeth and said, "Archer, you know I was tricked by her."
Archer said, "You're a man. No matter what, you slept together, so she's the one who got hurt more in the end."
Gary was getting irritated, but then he suddenly noticed Evella, who had been listening attentively behind Nora.
He squinted at her, saying, "Archer, is this Evella?"
Gary recognized Evella.
Trying to hide her embarrassment, Evella smiled awkwardly and walked out from behind Nora, saying, "Archer, Gary."
Gary frowned and asked, "Evella, why are you dressed like this?"
Evella no longer avoided it. She looked down at herself and asked, "Am I ugly?"
"What do you think?" Gary asked.
"I think I look pretty good. You don't understand fashion." Evella found an excuse for herself. "Red and green matching, that's called fashion; only beautiful people dare to dress like this."
Gary looked at her disdainfully and said, "Unfortunately, even if you dress like this, you're still very ugly. Howard, right?"
Howard had actually noticed Evella a while ago.
He replied, "I think she looks pretty good. A truly beautiful person can turn even the simplest clothes into a masterpiece."
Members of the Remington Family all looked at him, surprised by Howard's words.
Gary touched his forehead and asked, "Howard, are you feeling okay?"
Howard pushed his hand away and said, "I'm fine."
Gary asked, "Then why are you talking nonsense?"
Harper, standing next to Archer, realized why Howard praised Evella and teased, "Because in the eyes of someone who likes you, you're the most beautiful."
Gary understood Harper's meaning. He looked at Evella, then at Howard, and asked, "When did the sparks start flying between you two? But Evella, weren't you here to meet Kevin today?"
