Chapter 953 Do you Think it's Fun to Tease me?
Gabriella glanced at Johnnie and grabbed the room key.
Nora's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Johnnie, you don't need to see me off. I can go up alone."
"It's fine, I'll take you," Johnnie replied.
"No. You were supposed to be on vacation with Gabriella, but now you're working again. Aaron is so inconsiderate," Nora said.
"Don't say that. It's my duty," Johnnie responded.
"Alright, I know you're loyal. Go back to Gabriella."
Nora smiled and gently pushed Johnnie out.
As the door closed, she exhaled and patted her face, stiff from smiling.
Acting was exhausting!
She truly admired those stars in the entertainment industry.
Outside, Gabriella and Johnnie returned to their room.
Once inside, Gabriella leaned into Johnnie's arms, his face expressionless.
"Darling, you seem unhappy. Is it because Mr. Gordon and Mrs. Gordon had a fight, or are you just frustrated?"
Her fingers traced Johnnie's chest, moving upward flirtatiously.
Johnnie pulled her hand away and, looking at Gabriella's face, said coldly, "Do you think it's fun to tease me?"
Gabriella's smile froze. She looked at his stern face and raised her hand to touch it again.
"Why so serious? Haven't we always been like this?"
"Yes, you always like to tease me."
Johnnie's words had a double meaning as he pulled her hand away and turned to the bathroom.
Watching his back, Gabriella frowned.
"What's wrong with you? Is it because I joked about Mr. Gordon and Mrs. Gordon?"
Johnnie paused slightly. "Do you think that kind of joke is appropriate? Do you really want them to get divorced?"
Without waiting for Gabriella to respond, he walked into the bathroom.
Gabriella was stunned for a moment and then scoffed lightly.
'Johnnie really is a foolishly loyal man.'
'Does he have to take everything so seriously?'
Suddenly, Gabriella felt a sharp pain in her stomach and something flowing down.
She needed the bathroom immediately.
Holding her stomach, Gabriella quickly walked to the bathroom and turned the doorknob without knocking.
Johnnie was urinating and was caught off guard when she barged in.
He quickly zipped up his pants, annoyed.
"Have you no manners? I'm using the toilet!"
"Yell at me later, let me use the bathroom first."
Gabriella clutched her stomach, hunched over.
Johnnie wanted to scold her more, but seeing her pale face, he swallowed his words, flushed the toilet, and walked out.
Gabriella had no time to care about anything else. She found a pack of sanitary pads and sat on the toilet, holding her abdomen.
After finishing, she changed her pad and left the bathroom.
The room was empty. Had Johnnie gone out to work again?
Gabriella rubbed her abdomen and sat on the sofa, feeling uncomfortable in the silence.
She wasn't sure if it was because of the pain in her abdomen or Johnnie's cold attitude.
She had only been with Johnnie a few times, and now she was affected by him?
Gabriella frowned, let out a cold laugh, shook off her thoughts, and took out her phone to text Nora.
Gabriella: [Nora, when are you going out to see the show?]
Nora and Aaron were video chatting with Billy and Samantha. Billy, worried about their relationship, was asking a lot of questions.
Aaron put his arm around Nora's shoulder. "Don't worry, our acting is top-notch. We can expose her true intentions without being outsmarted."
Billy looked skeptical. "Dad, you messed up before. I'm not reassured."
Aaron's face darkened. "Don't sow discord."
Billy added, "I'm not sowing discord. Just making sure you remember."
Aaron snorted. "I remember. Don't bring it up again."
Nora found it amusing. She saw a message from Gabriella and showed it to Aaron.
Aaron squinted, took the phone, and replied for her: [In about half an hour.]
Gabriella: [You and Mr. Gordon haven't fought again, have you?]
Aaron glanced at Nora, who was happily chatting with Billy and Samantha, and replied: [He can do whatever he wants.]
Gabriella: [Still fighting? Mr. Gordon is really jealous, isn't he?]
Aaron scoffed and didn't reply, leaving Gabriella to imagine.
Nora glanced at him. "What did you reply?"
Aaron handed her the phone.
After reading it, Nora shook her head. "Always probing for information, hoping we get divorced tomorrow."
Aaron put his arm around her. "Then she'll be disappointed. Even if the sky falls, I won't let go of your hand."
Nora laughed. "Don't be so cheesy in front of the kids."
Aaron raised an eyebrow at Billy. "Billy, am I cheesy?"
Billy stayed calm. "I'm used to it. You guys carry on."
Nora was speechless.
On the other end, Gabriella saw that Nora didn't reply and smiled.
She thought, 'They are still fighting. Aaron must be really hurt this time.'
'Probably because Nora embarrassed him in front of Mateo.'
Gabriella lowered her eyes, her hand on her abdomen, a hint of regret in her eyes.
Why did her period have to come now?
Otherwise, she could have made Aaron slip up.
Gabriella's eyes shifted.
Even if she couldn't do anything substantial, she could still create some misunderstandings to fuel their fire.
Playing with a strand of hair, Gabriella's lips curled into a smile.
Her outfit was somewhat similar to Nora's.
Gabriella had an idea.
Beep, a message came in on her phone.
Rafael: [What are you doing?]
Gabriella glanced at it, her smile fading slightly.
Gabriella: [Nothing, just staying in the room.]
Rafael: [I heard Aaron and Nora had a fight because of Mateo's arrival? Such a good opportunity, aren't you going to take action?]
Seeing this message, Gabriella squinted.
How did Rafael know about Aaron and Nora's fight?
It seemed his subordinates were watching their every move.
This feeling of being monitored was really unpleasant.
Gabriella: [Rafael, let me give you some advice. Aaron's people are very smart. If you want to bring him and Mateo down, don't act rashly, and don't boss me around. I have my own way of doing things.]
At that moment, the door opened, and Johnnie came in.
He was holding a thermos cup.
Gabriella was startled and instinctively placed her phone face down on the sofa.
"You're back. Where did you go just now?"
