Chapter 471 Howard Is Not Dull
Howard listened to their advice while observing Evella walking toward them with a slight frown on his brow.
Should he listen to their opinions? Throughout his life, he had always been chased by girls and had never taken the initiative. It may be difficult for him to do so now! He decided to remember their suggestions for now and see how things go.
"Here you go," Evella said, handing out a few forks and spoons.
"Thank you, Evella. You are so gentle and virtuous. Whoever marries you will be very lucky, right, Howard?" Nora purposely pushed the conversation toward him.
Howard glanced at Evella and responded. Evella felt awkward and grabbed Nora's hand. She stared at her with beautiful, large eyes, saying, "Stop saying nonsense."
"Why? Wouldn't you like us to compliment you? But then again, you are clever and adorable, which doesn't really align with being virtuous," Nora retorted.
Evella angrily pinched her again and said, "You're still going on!"
Nora exclaimed, "Oops, my mistake. You're not clever and adorable; you're a fierce girlfriend! Howard, do you prefer a gentle girl or an aggressive one?"
Howard didn't know how to respond. Everyone looked at him, and even Evella subconsciously looked at him.
Howard met her beautiful gaze and quickly composed his words, "As long as it's someone I like, no matter how she is, I will like her."
'He really knew how to answer questions! Not dull at all.' Nora's eyes lit up, instantly changing her impression of Howard.
Sandy interjected, "Howard, do you think Evella is your type?"
Howard remained silent; this question was too blunt for him!
Evella's face blushed as she protested, "Are you not going to let people eat anymore?"
Nora laughed, and playfully added, "Sandy, even if you really like Evella and want to become a family with her, you should consider her feelings. She's still too young."
Sandy couldn't stop laughing, her hand covering her mouth.
Evella's face and neck both blushed as she picked up a piece of steak and stuffed it into Nora's mouth, adding, "Eat more and talk less!"
Nora looked dumbfounded and mumbled something with her mouth full.
Evella glared at her, and threatened, "Nora if you keep talking nonsense, I'm leaving."
Nora quickly shut her mouth, shaking her head as she chewed the food in her mouth.
Sandy laughed and picked up a napkin to wipe off the oil stains from Nora's mouth.
Howard watched the three of them laughing and joking, and he laughed, too.
'Their relationship is really good. If I truly manage to win over Evella, she should get along well with them in the future.' Howard wondered.
They finished the meal while chatting and laughing.
"I'm so full," Evella touched her stomach and said sweetly.
Nora nodded as well, saying, "Indeed, I ate so much, I don't think I need dinner anymore."
Sandy chuckled, and suggested, "It's all right; we can go for a walk later."
"Okay," Nora agreed. She then glanced at her watch, "Sandy, I'll walk you back."
Sandy asked, "Nora, are you going to visit Ryan?"
Nora replied, "Yes."
"Then you go first; I'll go back on my own," Sandy said.
Nora hesitated, "No, I'm worried about you."
"It's okay, I'm not that fragile, all right?" Sandy assured her.
Seeing the back-and-forth between the two, Evella quickly said, "Hey, don't forget about me. I can accompany Sandy back, and it'll also help me digest."
Hearing this, Nora rolled her eyes. "Fine. Howard, are you full?" she asked.
Caught off guard, Howard replied instinctively, "All right."
"Just all right?" Nora looked at him, asking.
Howard paused for a moment but quickly reacted, "Actually, I ate quite a lot. I also need to digest."
"Then you can accompany Evella to walk Sandy back," Nora advised.
Nora smiled contentedly.
Howard did well this time!
To summarize, this Howard is not dull at all! He's making others impressed!
So, as long as he is willing to spend time pursuing Evella, he will definitely succeed!
"All right," Howard readily agreed, thinking about Nora's suggestion in his mind.
"Thank you, guys," Sandy couldn't help but smile.
She wasn't so fragile that she needed two people to accompany her back to the lab.
But for the sake of giving Howard an opportunity, she was willing.
Evella's face blushed. How could she not see the true intentions of these two?
"Sandy, actually, I can accompany you back on my own," Evella suggested.
"No, the food box is too heavy. I need someone to help carry it." Sandy said, "Howard, please help us."
"Sure," Howard agreed naturally.
Nora smiled and felt that Sandy was very kind.
The group of people left the cafeteria.
Frederick drove and took Nora to the Woodhouse Villa.
Chloe was waiting for her as usual. When she saw Nora, she was very happy, and her eyes lit up.
Nora gave her a pill as Chloe said, "Nora, I feel like I'm getting smarter again."
Nora laughed and responded in agreement.
But when it came to treating her, Chloe ran away again.
Nora didn't insist and just waited for an opportunity.
After seeing her off, Mrs. Woodhouse came upstairs.
"Nora, I heard that Olivia had an accident in Houston yesterday. Arthur borrowed a private plane and went to Houston last night."
Hearing this, Nora was surprised, "What happened to Olivia?"
"I'm not sure; they haven't come back yet," Mrs. Woodhouse said.
Nora added," Aaron told me yesterday that someone leaked his whereabouts, causing Olivia to chase him all the way to Houston. But he didn't know that something happened to Olivia."
Hearing this, Mrs. Woodhouse looked surprised, and asked, "Olivia actually went to Houston to chase Mr. Gordon? Does she like him?"
Nora smiled and didn't say anything.
Mrs. Woodhouse shook her head, and said disappointedly, "Arthur knows about Mr. Gordon's relationship with you, but does he still support Olivia in pursuing him? What is he thinking?"
Nora continued to smile without commenting and then went to treat Ryan.
Outside, Chloe hummed a tune as she returned to her home.
The house was empty, so she played for a while and felt bored, then prepared to go upstairs for a nap.
At this moment, Arthur came back.
Chloe's footsteps paused as she hurried over to pull him, "Arthur, you're back! Come and play the horse riding game with me!"
She still remembered that Arthur had promised to play this game with her.
Arthur had an unpleasant expression as if he had aged several years overnight.
When Arthur saw Chloe approaching, his expression became gloomy. He pushed Chloe away and said, "Play what? Get lost!"
Chloe wasn't prepared and was thrown to the side by him.
Beside her was a wall, and her head hit the wall before bouncing off and falling to the ground.
Her vision turned black, and she fainted.
