Chapter 426 Marry You in the Future
Upon hearing Nora's words, Billy became anxious and retorted, "I didn't bully Millie."
Nora glanced at the unhappy little Millie and asked, "Then why isn't Millie happy?"
And Billy didn't even want to sit next to her!
Billy moved his mouth slightly as if wanting to say something but hesitated.
Samantha, who was sitting next to Millie, giggled and explained, "Mommy, it's not what you think. It's our classmates who gave Millie a nickname, and Billy is upset."
What?
Classmates gave Millie a nickname, and Billy was upset.
Nora curiously asked, "What nickname did your classmates give Millie?"
Samantha, with a childish voice, said, "Millie always follows Billy around, so our classmates call her Billy's little bride. Billy feels embarrassed, so he doesn't want to pay attention to Millie anymore."
So that's how it is.
Nora didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
The kids these days are too mature. How should she explain this?
"Well, your classmates were just joking around. Billy, you're a young man, so be more open-minded and don't bother with them," Nora advised.
Billy felt a little uncomfortable, and said, "I wasn't bothering with them in the first place."
He just felt embarrassed.
That's why he wanted to keep his distance from Millie.
"That's good." Nora guided, "Billy, Millie is a part of our family, just like Samantha is your sister. She follows you around every day because she lacks a sense of security. You have to protect her."
Upon hearing this, Billy thought about Millie's background and immediately felt a great sense of responsibility.
He stood up a little straighter and nodded solemnly, saying, "I understand."
Nora smiled with relief when she saw that he understood.
After all, Billy was her son. As long as she gave him a little guidance, he would be reassured.
At this moment, Millie suddenly blurted out, "Billy, don't you like me as your little bride?"
Upon hearing this, Billy's previously high spirits instantly deflated, replaced by unease.
He scratched his head and said, "Don't listen to them; you're my sister."
Millie pouted, "But I've already kissed you, and we sleep together. I'm going to marry you in the future."
Billy was speechless.
What should he say?
Not knowing what to say, Billy looked at Nora with a pleading expression.
Nora couldn't help but feel happy, but she was forced to hide her smile.
"All right, Millie is still young; she does whatever she wants. Her thoughts will change when she grows up," Nora remarked.
The world of children is pure and innocent.
In the future, she will let things happen naturally to the children.
Her current task was to guide their values correctly.
"Mommy, I will always think like this. I already call you Mommy, so of course, I have to marry Billy to always call you Mommy," Millie's expression and response were serious.
Nora was a little touched by Millie's small thoughts.
She gently touched her little head and said softly, "All right, I'll do as you wish. I will always be your Mommy."
Whether she becomes her daughter-in-law or daughter in the future, she will certainly be called Mommy.
Nora and Aaron got in the car, and they chatted along the way.
"Mr. Gordon, are we going back now?" Noe asked.
Samantha requested, "Mommy, Daddy, it's been a long time since we had a feast outside. Millie is also craving it."
Samantha's grape-like eyes turned, and she smiled.
Millie nodded eagerly, swallowing her saliva.
Nora glanced at her daughter and found it funny.
This crafty little child clearly had a craving of her own.
She thought that her daughter might take advantage of the cute little Millie in the future.
Aaron instructed, "Noe, find a high-class restaurant to park. We'll take the kids out for dinner tonight."
Aaron naturally doted on the children.
As long as the kids asked, he wouldn't refuse.
"Okay," Noe answered.
Aaron took out his phone and called Jacob again to update him.
Jacob wasn't angry; he just asked them to finish eating and bring the kids back early.
"Daddy, let's bring something delicious for Great-Grandfather to eat later," Samantha advised in a childish voice.
Aaron smiled softly and explained, "It's all right, Great-Grandfather is old and doesn't like greasy food from outside."
"Oh, okay," Samantha replied.
Noe drove around and found a newly opened high-end restaurant to park outside.
Everyone got out of the car one by one.
Nora wanted to hold the hands of the two little girls, but she saw that Millie had already run to Billy's side and was holding his hand.
Billy initially resisted, but when he noticed Millie's pleading eyes, he thought about it and didn't let go of her hand.
'Mommy said Millie is a younger sister, and she doesn't feel secure right now.
'Well, considering her parents are deceased, I'll protect her. As for others laughing at him, let them laugh.
'Anyway, I wouldn't be missing out on anything,' thought Billy. Millie held Billy's hand tightly, grinning with satisfaction.
Nora saw this and smiled, taking Aaron's hand and entering the restaurant.
The restaurant was newly opened, and business was booming.
They had come in a hurry and had yet to make any reservations, so there were no private rooms available.
Aaron had initially wanted to find another hotel for dinner, but Nora didn't mind and chose to stay.
"The restaurant looks good in terms of decoration and service. Let's make do," she advised.
"Sir and Madam, actually, the window seats in our dining hall are quite good," the waiter politely suggested.
Sir and Madam!
This title...
Should she deny it? Is it a bit stuffy?
Nora's eyes flickered, and she glanced at Aaron.
Upon hearing the waiter's address, Aaron's previously unreceptive face softened a bit.
"Lead the way," Aaron instructed.
Since the waiter seemed to have good judgment, he decided to stay for the meal.
The waiter found them a long table by the window.
There were large glass windows here, clean and clear, offering a view of the snow outside.
Several little children crowded in front of the window, chattering and admiring the snowy scene.
Of course, the two little girls did most of the talking.
The two little boys acted as listeners.
Nora and Aaron sat down, and Aaron asked Nora to order.
Nora remembered everyone's preferences and ordered a few dishes. Then she handed the menu to Aaron and asked him to add a few more.
At that moment, a male voice spoke up.
"Mr. Gordon, Ms. Smith?" the voice called out.
Hearing this voice, both of them turned to look at the person.
It turned out to be Archer, the eldest brother of the Remington Family, with Harper following behind him!
"Archer, you're here for dinner too?" Aaron greeted Archer.
"Yes, what a coincidence. You're here for dinner as well?" Archer said.
"Yes."
Nora called the children over to greet them.
"Hello, Uncle Archer. Hello, Aunt Harper."
The four children's sweet voices rang out at the same time, sounding pleasant and adorable.
"They are so well-behaved and cute. I wish I had so many children with me," Harper admired, smiling at the children and enjoying their company.
