Chapter 524 Really Ignored Her.

Aaron, angry, warned Nora before storming upstairs. Nora wanted to stop him but refrained.

Aaron wasn't joking, and she couldn't comply with Matthew's absurd request. She felt guilty for Matthew's infection.

The kids stayed at the Hamilton Manor, while Nora remained confined, avoiding any contact.

Aaron had returned to Houston, seemingly still upset with her. He hadn't called or messaged.

Since Aaron deleted all of Matthew's contacts from her phone, Matthew hadn't reached out either.

'I wonder if Aaron and Matthew have been in touch,' Nora thought.

Just then, she saw a news report about Arthur's arrest during a police operation. He was caught for drug trafficking and was with an HIV-positive prostitute.

Nora couldn't help but think, 'Arthur deserves it for his actions. But is it just a coincidence? How did Arthur get infected after using an HIV carrier to harm others?'

Nora frowned, considering if it was a deliberate trap.

Nora: [Did you do this, Aaron?]

She hesitated, then forwarded the news to him, adding another message.

Nora: [What goes around comes around, Arthur is finished.]

Nora waited for Aaron's response, but he remained silent.

Nora said to herself, "Is he busy or just ignoring me? His temper is really bad. He's really ignoring me! It's so frustrating!"

Nora put the matter aside for now. She tried to get Alex to find Sandy, who had left home alone without taking anything.

Plum Village was remote, with few cameras. Even the most skilled person would find it challenging without the necessary resources.

Nora wanted Aaron's help, but he ignored her. She could only endure the anxiety and wait for the reexamination, a week before finding another solution.

After a week, Nora went to the hospital for a check-up. She anxiously awaited the results.

Just as she received the report, Aaron swiftly took it from her hand.

Nora was surprised to see Aaron's handsome face. She felt a bit aggrieved.

Nora gave a snide remark, "Why are you here? I thought you were ignoring me."

Aaron didn't have time to answer. He quickly scanned the report. When he saw a particular word, he felt relieved.

He looked at Nora for two seconds, then walked up to her, held her face, and kissed her deeply.

Nora was stunned but struggled to break free. Aaron held the back of her head tightly, deepening the kiss.

'Is he crazy? How can he kiss me? What if I'm infected, and I pass it to him?' Nora thought as she struggled again and finally broke free from Aaron's kiss.

Nora scolded, "Aaron, have you lost your mind?"

Aaron's breathing was unsteady. He held her waist tightly and hoarsely said, "If I'm crazy, it's because of you." His brown eyes were filled with a burning desire.

Nora bit her lip, feeling both helpless and warm. She gently asked, "What about my test results? Am I infected?"

Aaron handed her the report, and said, "I told you that you wouldn't be infected, but you didn't believe me."

Nora quickly took the report and felt relieved to see the negative result.

"Thank God, I'm safe!" Nora exclaimed and sighed in relief. She saw Aaron's pitiful expression, so she smiled.

Nora asked, "You haven't spoken to me in a week. Are you still mad at me?"

Aaron, seeing her smile, felt a bit unwilling. He pretended to still sulk, saying, "You know that I'm upset, won't you comfort me?"

Nora felt wronged and rebutted, "I sent you a message, but you didn't reply, right?" '

Aaron smirked, and retorted, "So, sending me a news link is your way of comforting me?"

Nora looked at him with disbelief, and said, "I did it to break the ice! If you had responded, I would have continued to comfort you. You missed out on that."

Aaron chuckled, and replied, "So, it's my fault again, right?"

Nora quickly held his arm, and said coyly, "No, it's my fault, okay?" She smiled cutely, constantly giving in and trying to please him.

Aaron's slight resentment had already dissipated. He couldn't help but hold her by the back of her neck and kiss her deeply.

Aaron's breath was familiar and pleasant. Nora lightly pushed him away, closing her eyes and no longer resisting. She let Aaron explore her tenderness.

Passersby couldn't help but stare at them. There were whispers and gasps around.

"This is a hospital, and they are in such a hurry?"

"I guess one of them received a diagnosis of a serious illness, and the other is consoling them with a kiss."

"Or maybe it's a report, and the person who was tested found out they weren't sick, and they couldn't help but kiss in the hospital."

Nora felt speechless. The passersby had various speculations. Nora's ears turned red as she heard their guesses.

Taking advantage of Aaron's pause for breath, she moved away.

Nora complained, "That's enough. We're being treated like a circus."

Aaron's heart leaped with joy. He looked down at Nora, who was hiding in his arms, her ears red with shyness, and smiled happily.

Aaron said teasingly, "With me by your side, you don't need to be shy."

Nora smiled and gently glared at him. "Just because you're not shy doesn't mean I'm not, okay?" she replied.

Aaron laughed, reached up to tidy her hair, and then held her hand tightly. He suggested, "Let's go, let's go home."

"Okay," Nora agreed, in a good mood, was led out of the infectious disease department by Aaron.

Thinking of Arthur, she asked, "Aaron, did you see the news link I sent you?"

Aaron said, "I don't need to see it to know."

Nora looked at him curiously, and asked, "So, did you set a trap for Arthur to get infected?"

Aaron's face turned serious and answered, "No."

"No?" Nora repeated, baffled.

"When I was about to set up the trap, someone had the same plan as me and executed it before me," Aaron said.
