Chapter 762 Show More Concern to Your Husband

At this moment, Nora also thought of Hollis.

Thinking that Caden's infidelity almost killed Aaron, she blurted out, "Dad, do you remember Hollis?"

At the words, Caden was obviously stunned.

"Hollis, who is she?" Hollis said.

Nora and Aaron glanced at each other, both silent.

Aaron had a knowing expression, and when the elevator arrived, he pulled Nora in.

Nora pursed her lips, looking at Caden's bewildered expression, wanting to speak but hesitating.

Caden was indeed an unfaithful man.

The number of women he had slept with in his youth was definitely countless.

Fortunately, Aaron's temperament was not like Caden's; otherwise, she would be done with Aaron.

Speaking of which, Aaron's temperament was not like Caden's or Jeffery's but somewhat like Jacob's.

Perhaps it was inherited across generations.

The three of them left Oasis Lounge, Caden's driver waiting for him.

Aaron instructed the driver to make sure Caden was safely taken home. "Remember, watch my dad enter the house."

This was to have the driver monitor him.

Sensing the meaning in Aaron's tone, Caden frowned, looking displeased.

"Aaron, what do you mean, afraid I won't go home?"

Aaron opened the passenger door for him without denying it.

"Yes, afraid you'll go out again."

Caden gave Aaron a look, looking helpless.

"Fine, I'll go back to my 'prison.'"

Caden referred to his home as a prison.

Quite speechless.

Nora shook her head, watching Caden's car disappear into the distance, and asked Aaron, "Aaron, who was the person singing to your dad?"

"I didn't ask." Aaron put his arm around her waist and walked towards Frederick's car.

Nora blinked. "So when you entered the private room, was that person really just singing?"

Aaron glanced at her, raising an eyebrow. "What do you think?"

Of course, she thought crookedly.

'The singer might use the guise of singing to seduce Caden,' Nora thought to herself and said, "It seems like your mom misunderstood him."

"Probably." Aaron's attitude was very perfunctory, seemingly indifferent to both Jeffery and Caden.

Nora watched as Frederick opened the back door of the car for them, pursing her lips.

She knew Aaron didn't want to deal with the issues between Jeffery and Caden because of childhood shadows.

But now that she had married into the Gordon family, she still hoped that Jeffery and Caden would not divorce if possible.

As they got into the car, she held Aaron's hand and softly said, "Aaron, don't be like this; you're their son; show some concern for them."

Aaron held Nora's hand back, playing with it leisurely.

"I'd rather spend my time with you."

While Nora found comfort in his words, she still hoped Aaron would pay more attention to Jeffery and Caden.

Nora added, "Aaron."

"By the way, why did you come here, not trusting me?" Aaron asked.

Aaron clearly didn't want to discuss Jeffery and Caden's matters further, so he changed the subject.

Perhaps having seen this situation too many times, he felt that the dynamic between Jeffery and Caden was unchangeable.

Nora swallowed the words on her lips and didn't continue the topic.

"Don't be self-absorbed; I came to find Jenny."

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "Jenny was just here too?"

"Yes, she came alone to drink; Edric just found her and took her away," Nora said.

Aaron asked, "Did Jenny say anything to you?"

Nora thought of Fiona and sighed, "She did; she said a lot."

"Did she say she has a bad relationship with Fiona?" Aaron asked.

Nora was surprised, turning her head to look at him. "How did you know? Did Edric tell you?"

"He did, "Aaron replied.

Nora pursed her lips, thinking about what Jenny had said; she was somewhat angry about Fiona pushing women towards Edric.

"How did Edric tell you? Did he say his mother keeps pushing women towards him even though he's married?" Nora asked.

Aaron nodded. "He did."

Nora was getting excited. "Fiona is going too far, what's Edric's attitude, is he happy with his mother pushing women towards him?"

At this, Aaron chuckled. "What are you thinking? Edric is not that kind of person. He's actually quite troubled now, but that's his own mother; he's caught in the middle."

Nora furrowed her brow. "What's wrong with his mother? How can she, knowing her son is married, still insist on ruining his marriage? Fiona is being unreasonable."

Seeing Nora getting worked up, Aaron hugged her and kissed her hair.

"Honey, don't get upset. Fiona is indeed very strong-willed, and Edric knows it."

Nora pushed him away. "He knows it, and then he just let Fiona do as she pleased. Faced with the women she pushes towards him, he couldn't refuse!"

Aaron hurriedly said, "No, he has blamed Fiona's behavior, but it's no use. That's his mother; he can't just cut ties with her."

Hearing this, Nora became even more angry.

"So he just let it happen and lived under the same roof with the women his mother pushed towards him, even bringing them on business trips!"

Seeing Nora getting angry, Aaron tried to calm her down. "Honey, don't be mad at me; I'm not like that."

Nora sneered. "You and Edric are friends with the same quality!"

Aaron was speechless.

All right, he seemed to have got caught in the crossfire.

If Nora asked him to go sleep in the guest room, he would immediately cut ties with Edric!

"Honey, I'm innocent; if my mom pushed women towards me like that, I would be the first to confront her firmly. If she continued, I would cut ties with her immediately!"

Nora glanced at Aaron, thinking of the past; her anger slightly subsided, and she couldn't help but smile.

Indeed, Aaron was not that kind of person.

Before getting married, Aaron didn't break up with her because of Jeffery's opposition.

Similarly, he diddn't bend to Jeffery's preferences and marry Suzy simply because Jeffery was fond of her.

This was probably due to the shallow relationship between Aaron, Jeffery, and Caden.

Nora felt somewhat grateful.

It was precisely because of the shallow relationship between Aaron, Jeffery, and Caden that Aaron could make his own decisions in matters of marriage, not being influenced by family.

Speaking of which, Nora should be thankful for the discord between Jeffery and Caden.

"Frederick, back to Star River Bay."

Seeing Nora smile, Aaron felt a bit relieved.

He then instructed Frederick to take them back to Star River Bay.

Nora blinked. "We're going back to Star River Bay now, not to the Gordon Manor?"

"Yes, back to our home," Aaron said.

"But the children and Noe and Seraphina are all at the Gordon Manor."

It wasn't good for them to leave like this.

"You don't need to worry about these things, just worry about me," Aaron said, his voice low and hoarse.

"Honey, you agreed to show more concern to me tonight."
