Chapter 432 Don't Hide
The next day, Nora was awakened by the sound of laughter outside.
In a half-awake state, she reached for her phone on the side and glanced at the time. It was already 8.00 a.m.
The laughter outside continued; it was her children laughing.
Nora stretched lazily and waited for her thoughts to gather before getting out of bed and opening the curtains to look outside.
The view outside was blanketed in white.
The snow from yesterday had fallen all night, covering everything in a white blanket.
The world looked serene.
What a beautiful snowscape!
Nora's eyes sparkled as she looked at the garden in front of the villa.
At this moment, Aaron was building snowmen with their four children.
Everyone was busy, and they had already built four snowmen.
The snowmen were arranged from left to right, each varying in height.
Though they had no names, Nora inexplicably felt that these snowmen represented them all.
The tallest snowman represented Aaron, the one next to him described her, and then their children...
A smile formed on Nora's lips.
Today was the weekend, so the children didn't have to go to school. She wondered what gave them the idea to build snowmen.
Her gaze fell upon Aaron, and her eyes filled with a glint of starlight.
Aaron, wearing a black coat, stood with snow shovels and other tools by his feet, helping their four children build snowmen.
The dignified CEO was down-to-earth today!
Nora smiled, took out her phone, and captured the moment, which she then posted on her social media.
Caption: [The first snow of winter is worth commemorating!]
After posting, she tossed her phone aside and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
When she was done, she headed downstairs.
At this moment, Jacob was standing by the French window, smiling and watching the people playing in the snow outside.
"Good morning, Grandpa," Nora greeted.
"Nora, you're up," Jacob replied as they nodded to each other.
"Yeah, I'm going to join them," Nora said, feeling somewhat uncomfortable because she was really too casual now.
She often slept until noon without thinking much of it.
It was embarrassing.
"Go and have fun," Jacob encouraged. He was open-minded and didn't expect Nora to wake up early to serve the whole family breakfast.
Right now, he had only one wish, that she would conceive a child from Gordon's family soon.
The older man looked at the few people in the garden with soft eyes. He originally wanted to join them, but he was chased back home by his grandson after only a few minutes.
It was said that Jacob was afraid of catching a cold. He envied these young people, but he was also happy just watching them.
It would be even better if his grandson could work harder and get Nora pregnant so that he could have a true descendant of the Gordon family.
Speaking of which, this kid could have been more useful. He should have been given more supplements to improve his health.
Outside, Nora and Aaron, both being scolded by the older man telepathically, sneezed at the same time.
Hearing the noise, the few little ones raised their heads.
"Mommy, look, this one represents you!" Samantha said, seeing Nora coming out, excitedly pointing at one of the snowmen.
Nora rubbed her nose and nodded with a smile. She had just figured out which snowman represented herself.
"Mommy, my snowman is still being built!" Millie announced as she held a small snowball in her hands and handed it to Billy, who was building a snowman.
Nora replied with a sound, walked over to them with a smile, and asked, "Are you guys cold?"
"Not cold." The four children responded in unison.
"Nora, why did you wake up so early? Did we wake you up?" Aaron untied his gloves and tightened Nora's hat and scarf a little more.
Nora glared at him playfully, saying, "I sleep in every day. Grandpa and the others must be upset at me for being lazy."
Aaron put his hands in his pocket to warm them, and said, "I'd like to see who dares to scold you. I'm happy to take care of this lazy bug."
Nora couldn't help but laugh. "Who said I wanted you to take care of me?" she teased.
Aaron nodded, and said, "Indeed, from now on, all my money will be managed by you. So, you take care of me."
Nora chuckled and didn't want to argue with him. She looked at the children building snowmen and started to feel a little restless.
"Babies, do you need my help?" Nora asked.
"Yes, Mommy, help me get another carrot." Alex, who was still decorating the completed snowman, called out to Nora.
"Okay." Nora happily handed him another carrot.
"Mommy, help me get a leaf," Billy shouted.
"All right," Nora replied.
"Mommy, I want to build a Great-Grandfather; help me!" Samantha called out.
"I'll be right there," Nora responded.
"Mommy, I want to help too," Millie said as she joined in the fun.
"Here I come!" Nora stated.
Nora happily surrounded the few little ones, feeling like a screw that goes wherever it is needed. It felt so fulfilling.
Aaron looked at the suddenly childish woman, full of doting in his eyes.
Afraid that she would get cold, he went to get a pair of gloves for her.
"Put on the gloves before you continue playing." Aaron requested.
Nora didn't hesitate; she put on the gloves and continued to play with great enthusiasm, building snowmen with a few kids.
After building one snowman, Samantha said she wanted to make Mr. Hamilton Senior.
They continued to build snowmen.
After a while, Aaron's voice came from behind, "Nora."
Nora instinctively turned around and saw a snowball coming towards her.
"Ah!" Nora reacted.
Nora didn't have time to dodge; she only managed to turn her head, and the snowball hit her forehead.
This man actually threw a snowball at her!
Is he really that childish?
Nora looked at the triumphant man, speechless.
"Thomas, how old are you? You're still playing sneak attacks like a little kid!" She brushed off the snow on her and exclaimed.
"Daddy, how can you bully Mommy?" Samantha froze for a moment and blinked her big eyes in protest.
"Daddy, you're a boy. You should protect girls, not bully them!" Millie also protested in a childish voice.
"Yes, Uncle Gordon, you lacked gentlemanly behavior today," Billy said.
Alex stood up and said, "Billy, Samantha, Millie, let's avenge Mommy!"
"All right!"
The three children's eyes lit up, echoing in unison. They picked up snowballs and threw them at Aaron.
Aaron laughed and dodged. "Oh no, you're all against me!" he exclaimed, feigning fear playfully.
Billy said, "Who let you bully Mommy?"
Millie unconditionally agreed, "Exactly!"
Samantha said, "Yes, we have to avenge Mommy."
Alex said, "Uncle Gordon, get ready for it!"
Aaron was hit by a few small snowballs and pretended to retaliate.
"Be careful, I'm going to counterattack!" Aaron teased.
"Come on, who's afraid of who!" Billy yelled, holding a snowball excitedly and throwing it at Aaron.
The children chased after Aaron and played around. Nora felt a warm current flowing in her heart, and she smiled.
Watching them all have so much fun, she also got playful and joined the snowball fight.
Aaron was agile and dodged the snowballs thrown by the children; they couldn't hit him at all.
Millie became anxious, and demanded, "Daddy, don't dodge!"
Aaron remained silent.
Does he have the word "stupid" written on his forehead?
However, as long as they were happy, he would play the fool.
