Chapter 740 Different Jane
Nora followed his gaze forward and saw a tall, sexy lady with a big wave of hair, wearing a tight black hip-hugging skirt, walking towards them.
Who was this?
She didn't know!
"Dr. Smith."
The person walked up to Nora and stopped in front of her.
The voice sounded familiar.
Nora blinked, looked closely, and her eyes widened instantly.
She knew this lady.
This sexy lady turned out to be Jane!
But she remembered Jane with neat, short hair, not looking so charming.
Damn it!
Nora stared at Jane in disbelief.
In her impression, Jane was a heroic female police officer.
She had nothing to do with the seductive and charming lady in front of her now.
"Are you really Officer Jane?" Nora was still uncertain.
Jane smiled and glanced at Aaron. "Let's talk in the private room."
"Okay."
Aaron nodded slightly, gesturing for her to go in first.
Jane entered the same private room as before; Nora hesitated for a moment and quickly followed.
Aaron looked around, found nothing unusual, and followed them in.
As soon as the door closed, Aaron handed his lighter to Jane.
"Officer Jane, I recorded everything that happened in the private room just now, hoping it will be useful."
Before this, Aaron had informed the police chief in advance.
So the chief let Jane contact him.
Knowing that Jesse was a suspicious and dangerous individual, Jane had Aaron secretly record the video for future case-solving.
At the same time, the police would protect him in secret.
"Thank you. I will contact you after discussing with the others in the department when I get back."
Jane put away the lighter and thanked Aaron.
"Okay." Aaron nodded.
"If there's nothing else, I'll leave first," Jane said.
Nora kept staring at her."Officer Jane, is that wig you're wearing?"
Jane touched her hair. "Yes."
"Why did you dress like this?" Nora asked.
Jane frowned slightly, feeling uncomfortable as she adjusted her hip-hugging skirt.
"Is it ugly?"
Nora shook her head. "No, you look gorgeous! You are like a different person."
"Really, not ugly?"
Jane smiled shyly, completely different from the previous cold female police officer.
"Believe me. I never lie," Nora said.
"Thank you." Jane fixed her fallen hair. "I have a task tonight, so I won't chat much. I'll leave first."
After speaking, Jane nodded slightly to the two and walked towards the door.
She was wearing a pair of black mid-heel shoes.
Perhaps not used to them yet, she stumbled and almost twisted her ankle.
"Be careful."
Nora instinctively wanted to help her, feeling nervous for her.
"I'm fine."
Jane smiled awkwardly and glanced at her high heels, feeling the urge to take them off and throw them away.
But thinking of the task at hand, she took a deep breath, balanced her feet and shoes as best as she could, opened the door, and walked out.
Nora's gaze followed Jane all the way, her beautiful eyes shining brightly.
"Aaron, do you think Jane is dressed like this for a specific mission? Should we stay and watch?"
Aaron chuckled, reached out to pull her into his arms, and flicked her nose.
"Do you always love to join in the fun?"
Nora came to her senses, thinking of Aaron's behavior tonight, raised her hand, and pinched his arm.
"Do you always love to act crazy?"
Nora, with a mix of coquetry and annoyance, her chest slightly pressed against him due to their collision.
Aaron's gaze fell on Nora's subtly revealed chest, his eyes deepening.
"Yes, crazy for you."
"Get lost!"
Nora lifted her leg and stepped on his foot.
Aaron chuckled softly. "Then tell me, where do you want me to get lost?"
Nora said, "Back to the outer space!"
Aaron held her body a bit tighter. "Alright, I'll take you flying tonight!"
The meaningful smile made Nora think of the pleasant moments of lovemaking.
Nora couldn't help but blush.
She pushed him away, unkindly saying, "Hurry up and leave!"
"I'm going to Richard's place now," Aaron said with a light laugh.
"I'll go with you." Nora straightened her clothes.
Aaron raised an eyebrow teasingly, "Aren't you afraid of being seen or accused of cheating behind my back?"
Nora glared at him. "No, I have betrayed you and I'm prepared to face the consequences!"
Aaron's brown eyes fell on her chest, his tone cooling.
"Next time, don't wear such sexy clothes when going out, got it?"
Nora touched her ear. "Thanks for the compliment."
Aaron was helpless.
She's learned to play dumb!
Aaron reached out to pull her, but Nora quickly dodged and then walked quickly towards the door.
Before opening the door, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at him.
Adorably mischievous.
A hint of a smile flashed in Aaron's eyes, full of indulgence.
He suddenly realized that Nora was becoming more and more wicked!
He couldn't wait to go back and uncover Nora's outer layer to see how wicked she truly was!
On the lively dance floor, the loud music was deafening.
Men and women gathered in twos and threes under the colorful lights, freely swaying and relaxing.
At a table near the dance floor, Jane sat leisurely, sipping on a glass of wine.
With exquisite eye makeup, she casually scanned her surroundings, seemingly casual but actually observant.
Not far away, two men with dyed blonde hair, dressed very trendy, were whispering to each other and nodding in Jane's direction.
Soon, one of the men, named Francis Stewart, sat down next to her.
"Are you alone, beautiful?"
Jane remained silent and continued to drink her wine expressionlessly.
Francis looked her over. "Why so quiet? You seem unhappy. Did you fight with your boyfriend?"
Jane paused her drinking, then finished her drink in one go.
A hint of understanding flashed in Francis's eyes.
"I guessed right; girls like you are troubled by love, coming to the bar to drink and drowning your sorrows."
Francis snapped his fingers and said to the approaching waiter, "Bring me two Maria cocktails."
Soon, the waiter brought two glasses of cocktails.
Francis pushed one of the glasses towards Jane.
"Let me buy you a drink."
Jane casually leaned back on the sofa. "Buy me a drink? You're so kind. Is there something added to this drink?"
At his words, Francis chuckled. "You're quite cautious; let's switch then."
He swapped the two glasses, then picked up his glass and drank it all.
After Francis finished, Jane sneered, picked up the glass on the table, and took a big sip.
"I have money; I don't need you to buy me a drink. Men are all bastards; once you get something, you don't cherish it. From now on, I won't believe in love anymore, and I won't take a penny from stinky men!"
"I can earn money; I will earn a lot of money. Bryan Ward, you bastard, I will make you regret leaving me for a rich woman!"
