Chapter 753 It was Time to Find a Godmother
Howard's warm breath sprayed on her face. Evella watched as Howard approached closer, afraid he might do something inappropriate, and hurriedly said, "Don't mess around; Godfather has never experienced it!"
Howard was taken aback, then suddenly laughed.
In order to prevent him from kissing her, Evella even revealed Richard's secret.
Well, Richard had never been in a relationship, still a virgin!
"Even if he's not experienced, your godfather is an adult; He must have had acquaintance with such matters."
Evella's beautiful eyes flickered, then she added, "How can he comprehend it if he has never undergone such experiences?"
Howard was taken aback, and he found it even more amusing. His arm that encircled her waist tightened slightly.
"Great writer, is this how you writers argue?" Howard said.
Evella blinked innocently. "I'm asking very seriously."
Howard smiled and couldn't resist leaning down to kiss her lips. "Understanding can be attained without direct personal experience, as there are alternative avenues for insight. For instance, as it stands presently."
Howard kissed the corner of her lips again.
Evella's cheeks blushed slightly. "What do you mean?"
Howard said, "We are kissing, and he is learning."
Evella glanced at him, coquettishly saying, "Are you calling us exemplary?"
Howard raised an eyebrow. "Why is it not permissible?"
An image of embarrassment flashed inexplicably in Evella's mind. A smile flickered in her eyes.
Howard had led her astray! "You're such a jerk!"
Howard, with deep brown eyes, said, "Evella, don't forget that you're going to marry me in the future, and we'll be a family; it's not nice to speak ill of your husband."
Evella's cheeks turned pink with shyness. "Who said I'm going to marry you?"
Howard said," Evella, be my wife; I'll make sure to keep you happy and joyful every day."
The soft light from above cast a gentle glow, reflecting specks of starlight in Howard's brown eyes.
Evella's heart melted. Watching Howard's handsome face approach again, she slowly closed her eyes.
A loud noise startled the two, who were about to get intimate.
They both opened their eyes simultaneously and looked toward the source of the sound.
Richard walked out of the bedroom, clearing his throat. "Sorry to interrupt, please continue."
He really didn't mean to; he just accidentally bumped into the cabinet.
Evella's cheeks flushed; biting her lip, she quickly pushed Howard away and then gave him a playful glare.
As if saying it was all his fault.
Howard touched his nose, looking at Richard, who suddenly acted as if nothing had happened.
"Richard, you should find a godmother for Evella," Howard said.
This way, he wouldn't be startled when he saw Howard and Evella being intimate.
"Mind your own business." Richard glanced at Howard and took the dirty clothes to the laundry room.
Howard didn't want to just mind his own business; he said, "Richard, being a virgin for so long isn't good. Tell me, what kind of girl do you like? I'll keep an eye out for you."
Richard turned to look at him, teasingly saying, "I don't like women."
Howard was surprised. "Richard, you should know I only like women."
Richard's lips curled into a wicked smile.
"Seeing you and Joseph leaving marks on each other, I thought you had some special preferences," Richard said.
Howard was speechless.
What a misunderstanding!
He was absolutely straight!
Nora finished treatment for Joseph and then gave him a few instructions.
"I'll come to give you treatment once a week from now on; take your medicine on time, three times a day, two pills each time until all the toxins in your body are cleared," Nora said,
"Okay, thank you, Dr. Smith," Joseph quickly expressed his gratitude.
"You're welcome." Nora smiled, packed up her things, and left the bedroom.
At that moment, her phone rang. It was Aaron's call. Nora's eyes lit up; she walked to a corner and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Where are you?" Aaron's deep and pleasant voice came through.
"I'm at Richard's house," Nora replied.
"Has the antidote been developed?"
"Yes."
"That's my wife; you're amazing."
Listening to Aaron's praise, a smile crossed Nora's face.
"You make it sound like you're the amazing one."
Joseph at least said she was a great doctor, but Aaron directly attributed it to himself.
"You're my wife; if you're amazing, then I'm amazing too," Aaron said confidently.
Nora chuckled. "That's a twisted logic."
Aaron lightly laughed, "It's not twisted logic; if I weren't amazing, how could I have won you over?"
Nora rolled her eyes. "Stop kidding."
Aaron chuckled again. "I'll come pick you up now."
"No need, Frederick is here."
"Then I'll wait for you at home; when you come back, we'll go pick up the kids together and head back to Houston."
Today was Friday, and Billy and Samantha had the next two days off.
Tomorrow was Caden's birthday, and they agreed to go back to Houston together to celebrate him.
Aaron wanted to go back tonight.
Nora didn't object either. After hanging up, she informed Richard and the others and then took Frederick's car back.
When they arrived at the mansion, Aaron hadn't returned home yet, so Nora went upstairs to change clothes first.
As soon as she entered the bedroom, her phone rang. Nora glanced at it; it was Jenny calling.
"Jenny."
"Nora, tomorrow is Uncle Caden's birthday; Aaron will bring you and the kids back to celebrate with him, right?" Jenny asked.
"Yes, we'll be back in Houston tonight," Nora replied with a smile as she walked towards the closet.
"That's great, then I'll get to see you tomorrow, Nora, I miss you so much."
Jenny's soft and tender voice made Nora pause in her movements. She blinked, sensing something unusual. Jenny seemed to be upset about something.
Jenny was usually a very optimistic and cheerful person; even when she was acting cute, she sounded cute but not upset.
Nora wanted to ask, but the words stuck in her throat. "I miss you too; let's catch up tomorrow when we meet."
If there was something to discuss, it was better to wait until they met in person.
"Tomorrow, we'll have a late-night chat; no one can disturb us," Jenny said.
Nora laughed. "But I'm afraid your husband will have objections!"
Jenny replied, "I'm also afraid Aaron will have objections!"
Both of them burst into laughter.
"Then it's settled. Tomorrow, no one can interrupt our sisterly reunion," Jenny said.
"It's a deal."
Nora hung up, staring at the screen for a moment.
She had a feeling that something must have happened to Jenny.
Jenny wasn't happy.
What could it be?
