Chapter 656 Big and Small Are All Hot Items

"Alright, let's drink," Elara said.

She finally stopped convincing Noe to stay. She asked Seraphina to change her glass, and continued to drink with Noe.

The people here were all good at drinking. So Elara's tolerance for alcohol was truly astonishing.

Noe had been socializing with Aaron all year round, and he could drink quite a lot, but he couldn't compare to her.

After a few glasses of wine, he had a dazed look, feeling dizzy. But Elara remained unfazed.

Seeing Noe getting close to being drunk, Seraphina couldn't help but say, "Stop drinking, have some water."

She poured a cup of water for Noe, who smiled at her with a dazed look.

"I'm fine; I'm not drunk! Elara is truly a female hero."

This compliment greatly pleased Elara.

She raised an eyebrow and said, "You're not bad, much more straightforward than Aaron."

Aaron, who felt slighted, raised an eyebrow but remained silent, continuing to feed Alex and Nora.

Alex had almost finished eating, glanced at Frederick and Ronald dutifully guarding the door, and quietly took a plate with some meat and fish to them.

Today's breakfast was safe; they could enjoy it without worry.

They would soon leave this place and might not have the chance to eat such ethnically characteristic food again.

He wanted to satisfy Frederick and Ronald's appetites as well.

The food here really tasted good.

Seeing this, Erin followed, filled a plate with food, and walked towards Frederick and Ronald with Alex.

Frederick and Ronald were pleasantly surprised, expressed their gratitude, and started eating after thanking them.

At the dining table, Elara was about to pour more wine for Noe.

Seeing Noe getting close to being drunk, Seraphina said, "Elara, don't let him drink anymore. He has to take me with him; it's not good if he's drunk."

Elara paused to pour the wine, looked deeply at her as if she had sensed something, and decided not to pour more wine for Noe.

Noe burped and sat there dumbly, looking somewhat foolish.

Seraphina thought for a moment, fetched a damp towel, and said, "Wipe your face."

Noe's gaze was unfocused; he smiled foolishly, not moving.

It was clear he had drunk too much.

Seraphina, feeling helpless, could only use the damp towel to wipe his face.

Elara watched, took a sip of wine, and averted her gaze.

She said, "Mr. Gordon, I've always been a reasonable person. I may have offended you before, and I know you hold some grudges against me, but I saved your life after all. How about we let bygones be bygones between us?"

Elara's words naturally led Aaron to agree.

"I remember the favor you and Seraphina did for me. We'll leave after eating," Aaron said.

Elara glanced at Seraphina and said, "Seraphina is kind-hearted and naive; she has never traveled far. If possible, Mr. Gordon, please take care of her as a token of gratitude for her help."

Needless to say, he would repiprocate Seraohina's favor and take care of her.

He nodded. "Seraphina is a good girl, Nora and I will return her kindness."

They were even hoping for Seraphina and Noe to hit it off!

Elara nodded in satisfaction, about to say something, when there was a commotion at the door.

"Aunt Elara, Aunt Seraphina." Kimberly entered with her short legs.

Elara glanced at her and smiled, saying, "Kimberly, you're up too. Did you have breakfast?"

"No," Kimberly shook her head and said.

"Come and have some food," Elara beckoned.

Kimberly didn't say a word, walked to the dining table, looked at Alex, and said, "Alex, are you going to leave?"

Alex nodded. "Yes."

Kimberly reached out to hold his hand, saying, "Alex, can you stay and keep me company?"

Alex remained speechless.

Nora was wordless.

It looked like her husband and her son were both charmers!

No sooner had they dealt with one issue named Elara, than another named Kimberly arose.

Before Nora could say anything, Erin had already dashed to Alex's side, swiftly pulling his hand and guiding him backward.

Erin furrowed her delicate brows together, giving Kimberly a rare stern look.

She said, "Don't touch him!"

It was the first time Kimberly had heard Erin speak, causing her to blink in surprise. "You finally spoke!"

Ignoring Kimberly, Erin tightly held Alex's hand, turning to Nora. "Mommy, can we leave now?"

The current scene inexplicably made Nora feel like chuckling.

Erin was surprisingly fierce.

Nora nodded and said, "Yes, we can."

They started to move as if to depart.

Kimberly outstretched her arms, blocking Alex's path. She said, "Alex, you haven't answered me yet. Can you stay and company me?"

Alex remained expressionless and replied, "No, I have to go home."

Kimberly felt extremely wronged and said, "But you stayed at my house last night, so you're my man now!"

Alex was speechless.

Just because he stayed overnight, he became Kimberly's man.

What kind of logic was this?

"Don't talk nonsense; I am who I am, not anyone's possession!" Alex said.

Just as he finished speaking, Erin grabbed Alex's hand and assertively said, "You're mine!"

Her voice was soft and cute yet carried a hint of dominance.

Alex blushed inexplicably. He knew he was Erin's husband. He always remembered that.

Aaron watched the scene with interest, then took Alex's hand and helped him out of the situation, saying, "Ms. Everhart, thank you for your hospitality; we'll take our leave now."

Nora suppressed her smile, picked up Erin, nodded slightly at Elara, and left.

Ronald helped the drunken Noe up.

Frederick remained vigilant, guarding the group.

"Elara, I'm leaving," Seraphina picked up her neatly packed suitcase and spoke.

Elara withdrew her gaze, looked at Seraphina's calm face, and said, "If you like him, don't hesitate. Remember, you're my sister; don't let anyone bully you. Don't let anyone walk over you, got it?"

Elara's tone was stern, but Seraphina could sense her care.

Feeling a bit emotional, she reached out and hugged Elara, saying, "Elara, take care of yourself."

Elara's fleeting emotion flashed in her eyes, and she spoke coldly, "Don't be sentimental, just go."

Seraphina let go of her, picked up her suitcase, and left.

Kimberly pouted, watching the group leave, feeling a bit reluctant.

Elara watched Seraphina's departing figure, suppressed her emotions, lowered her gaze, and patted Kimberly's head, asking, "Do you have a crush on Alex?"

Kimberly said, with a sad tone, "Aunt Elara, he stayed at my house. Why won't he stay and keep me company?"

Because Alex wasn't from here and needed help understanding the customs!

Elara fell silent for a moment and said, "Probably because he's still young. When he grows up, ask him this question again."

Kimberly was unhappy. She followed them out, looked at Alex, who was led by Aaron, and shouted, "Alex, I'm Kimberly. When I grow up, I'll find you! Remember, you once stayed at my house!"

Alex stumbled, almost falling.

Fortunately, he would leave soon!

When Kimberly grew up, she would forget about him!

Erin leaned on Nora's shoulder, staring straight at Kimberly as if trying to engrave her appearance in her mind. She had to remember what Kimberly looked like. If Kimberly really came looking for Alex in the future, she would recognize her immediately!
